Two people, one old man and one young boy, are seen being chased by a 7 meter long Datura Snake.
"Where are these Datura Snakes coming from one after the other, and why is it chasing us for so long?
First it's the small one, now it's the big one? What next? An even bigger one?" The older one complained while running.
The boy smiled wryly at the complaint of his teacher.
'How would I know about that teacher? Oh wait, you weren't asking me. You are just complaining.' The boy thought.
As they were running they accidentally took a wrong turn and strayed deeper into the forest.
The older man shouted his Soul Skill using his Martial Soul to increase the distance between them.
"Fart like Thunder, Luo Sanpao."
The little creature following it's masters command released a Fart at the incoming Datura Snake creating a shock wave which barely pushed it back a little.
But before the Teacher and disciple can celebrate and run faster, a change occurred.
The Datura Snake quickly used its tail to whip Luo Sanpao, knocking it down.
Luo Sanpao felt the pain of the tail whip and getting knocked down to the ground and winced.
Before it could get back up and take a step the Datura Snake swiftly came to its side and bit its leg and trashed it around a few times.
Just as it was about to tear apart Luo Sanpao, Yu Xiaogong who felt the feedback coming from his Martial Soul and seeing the situation recalled his Martial Soul back.
Luo Sanpao turned into energy and escaped the hold of the Datura Snake and entered Yu Xiaogong, poisoning him.
Yu Xiaogong and Tang San who didn't notice the seriousness of the situation ran as fast as they could while Tang San tried to interfere with the Datura Snake with his new Soul Skill and silent sleeve arrow from time to time.
They managed to increase the distance between them significantly but the Datura Snake relentlessly pursuing them, irked them.
Just as they were worried about what to do, Yu Xiaogong suddenly started to get slower and slower and fell head first on the ground.
Tang San's face turned pale as he witnessed his teacher falling on the ground.
He quickly figured out the situation by examining Yu Xiaogong with his purple demon eyes and checking the pulse.
'What should I do, Teacher is poisoned and we are being chased by a stupid snake relentlessly.
How can I heal him in this situation? Should I run away?' He complained in his mind and hesitated to whether to leave by himself or stand his ground and fight.
Just as he was about to decide to leave, he felt a strange calm, as if someone reliable was going to come and save them.
Tang San felt bewildered at the feeling, and was about to look around when the Datura Snake caught up to them and hissed at him. Giving him no time to think.
Just as he used his 1st Soul Skill Blue Silver Entanglement again, a black shadow appeared behind the Datura Snake and kicked it away.
The Datura Snake collided with the nearby trees and fell to the ground and hissed in pain.
The black shadow who kicked the Datura Snake swished her hair back and got ready for the next attack.
Her cat ears moving to and fro, her tail moving around with excitement, while her face a mask of coldness.
The Datura Snake still in its madness state didn't recognise the situation clearly and hissed at the little girl that attacked him angrily.
Tang San who was watching this spectacle widened his eyes in disbelief.
'This girl looks younger than me and she had the power to send a 7 meter Datura Snake flying with just a kick?
Although it's a sneak attack, to think someone younger than me out classes me in strength without using a Soul Skill.
Not to mention the person is the opposite sex. Am I really that weak?' He thought, feeling shock and unwillingness.
The Datura Snake quickly crawled over and tried to bite the girl but the girl didn't make a move just smirked at it, provoking it further.
Enraged, the Datura Snake quickly reached the girl and bit into her shoulder but strangely the Datura Snake didn't feel any sensation of biting into the flesh.
Instead the girl disappeared from its view entirely, making the watching Tang San and the Datura Snake realize, it's an after image.
Before the Datura Snake could react the girl kicked it flying again, but this time Datura Snake only skidded back a little before stopping.
"Tch"
"Guess the momentum is not enough, I need to train more." She said, feeling annoyed.
'Are those human words? I can barely follow her movements with Purple Demon Eyes, even then I doubt I could react to her attacks.
She didn't even use a Soul Skill so far, Yet, she is saying she needs to train more?
My purple demon eyes are telling me, she is just a Soul Master like me, so why is the difference so big?' Tang san complained in his mind.
Just then, a deep yellow Soul Ring appeared around the girl and she shouted her Soul Skill incantation.
"Hell Rush Stab."
She disappeared from the spot she was standing again and the next second she appeared before the Datura Snake and stabbed her hand forward at it.
The moment the stab connected, blood spat from it, as a gash appeared on its body.
Tang San watching it felt stunned.
'Forget surpassing her, can I even beat her at the same level?' He thought, feeling despair cloud his heart.
