Chapter 602 - Chapter 601 — The Ultimate Blade!

Alien Empera swung the violet energy blade in his hand, unleashing a relentless series of slashing attacks at Belial and Ken.

One strike after another carved into their bodies. When the two could barely hold on any longer, Empera suddenly poured power into his arm and released a heavy finishing slash, the blade transforming into a streak of violet light that cleaved straight toward them.

Belial and Ken could only watch helplessly as the attack descended—

When suddenly, a silver-and-red hand appeared before them.

The hand caught the violet blade barehanded.

With a sharp motion, it hurled the energy slash into the ground.

SHRRRAAAK—!

The pale-green crystal surface shattered as a massive chasm was torn open, sending a chill down Ken and Belial's spines.

"Who are you?"

Alien Empera stared at the figure standing before them, his voice low and dangerous.

Anyone capable of stopping his full-powered blade strike with bare hands was no ordinary warrior.

"Oh? Me?"

Yuzhou replied casually, now shifted into Power Type.

"Just a passing Giant of Light."

The answer instantly irritated Alien Empera.

"Belial," Ken asked quietly from behind, "do you know him?"

Belial frowned, studying Yuzhou for a moment before shaking his head.

"Never seen him before."

In the Land of Light, warriors of exceptional strength were rarely unknown.

That was precisely why Alien Empera had lured Ken and Belial away earlier—he knew their true combat potential.

Yet this red-type Ultra standing before them…

neither of them recognized him.

"Whoever you are," Alien Empera growled, "if you intend to stop me from destroying the Land of Light—then you will die here as well!"

Gripping his violet blade, Empera lunged toward Yuzhou.

Yuzhou simply reached out.

He caught the blade.

"What—?!"

Alien Empera's pupils contracted violently.

Never—not once—had anyone stopped his strike so effortlessly.

And without suffering visible damage.

"Impossible!"

Empera yanked the blade back. Sparks burst as the edge scraped across Yuzhou's palm.

"Impressive," Yuzhou said calmly, glancing at the scattered light particles on his hand.

"With strength like yours, no wonder you became the Dark Emperor."

He clenched his fist. The wound instantly healed.

At that moment, an Ultra with silver and red colouring, her head adorned with twin ribbon-like crests, rushed in from the side—a long sword clutched in her arms.

Yuzhou recognized her at once.

Ultraman Marie—the future Mother of Ultra.

"Why did you come back?!"

Ken shouted anxiously.

"It's dangerous here!"

Belial's attention, however, was fixed on the sword Marie carried.

She had originally intended to deliver the blade to the horned Ultra before her—

to Ken.

Yet now, both Ken and Belial were clearly recovering in the rear.

The one truly holding the line…

was the unfamiliar red-type Ultra standing at the front.

"This… is for you."

Marie stopped before Yuzhou and held the sword out with both hands.

"…Huh?"

Yuzhou stared at the weapon, momentarily stunned.

"This is a sacred treasure passed down through our people," Marie said, catching her breath.

"The Ultimate Blade."

Ken's eyes widened in shock.

"That sword is the holy relic of the Land of Light!"

Yuzhou genuinely hadn't expected this.

In the original timeline, Marie had given the sword to Ken—

with Belial watching from the side, bitterness burning in his heart.

But now?

The course of history had clearly shifted.

"This sword… really is powerful."

Yuzhou accepted the Ultimate Blade and gave it a few test swings.

Within it surged an immense, concentrated force of light.

For an ordinary Ultra, wielding this blade would bring a massive boost in strength.

For Yuzhou?

Frankly speaking—it was redundant.

If he wanted power, Glitter Tiga was more than enough.

After a brief pause, he turned to the two behind him.

"So," Yuzhou asked casually, "which of you wants to try it?"

He had initially intended to hand the sword to Ken, following the original fate.

But stopping himself, he realized that wouldn't be fair to Belial.

"I'll do it."

Belial answered instantly, without hesitation.

Ken said nothing, merely stepping back and watching quietly.

To him, it didn't matter who wielded the sword—as long as the enemy threatening the Land of Light was defeated.

"Here. Catch."

Yuzhou tossed the Ultimate Blade to Belial.

Belial caught it with one hand.

The moment he grasped the hilt; the blade's vast power surged into him.

He stepped forward to face Alien Empera.

"So," Empera sneered, "you think wielding a weapon means you can defeat me? How naïve."

He raised his violet blade, preparing for battle.

Yuzhou didn't intervene.

Instead, he turned to Belial and asked calmly,

"Do you want to test your limits… or do you want me to step in?"

Belial froze for a moment, then looked down at the Ultimate Blade in his hand.

"…Let me see," he said quietly, "how much potential I truly have."

"Alright," Yuzhou nodded.

"If things go south, I'll step in."

He stepped aside, arms crossed, watching intently.

Belial wielding the Ultimate Blade—

how different would that be from Ken?

Yuzhou was genuinely curious.

"You will regret underestimating me,"

Alien Empera roared, furious.

To him, Yuzhou's attitude felt like utter contempt—

as if the Dark Emperor were nothing more than an insect, easily crushed.

"Enough talk!"

Belial shouted, raising the Holy Sword.

"Your opponent is me!"

He drew upon the blade's power.

A brilliant golden radiance erupted forth, enveloping his entire body.

The light flooded the battlefield, forming what seemed like a domain of its own.

Bathed in this radiance, Belial's body grew larger.

Rough, beard-like markings appeared along his face.

Every inch of him radiated overwhelming strength.

"He activated it…!"

Ken clenched his fists, eyes shining.

"Belial has successfully awakened the Ultimate Blade—

he can defeat Alien Empera!"
