Without hesitation, they set off immediately.
Yuzhou and Juggler—bringing along Riku and Zero as well—had no difficulty at all dealing with a single alien Celebro.
It did not take long for the four of them to locate Kaburagi Shinya's residence.
They smashed through the front door and rushed inside. The room was dim, permeated by a faint, eerie green glow.
Kaburagi—or rather, Celebro—was seated in front of a device, busily tinkering with it.
The moment he saw the four intruders burst in, Celebro was visibly startled. However, his reaction was swift. He immediately pulled out a gun-like weapon and opened fire.
Yuzhou and Zero responded instantly, firing light blades from their palms. Juggler entered his Majin form, swinging his blade to shatter Celebro's attacks midair.
As for Riku—
Clutching a heavy club, he charged straight at Celebro without hesitation.
Outnumbered and overwhelmed, Celebro was knocked to the ground in no time. Juggler pressed his sword against Celebro's throat, pinning him in place.
"So you're a alien Celebro, huh."
After giving him a careful once-over, Juggler let out a mocking, sarcastic laugh.
Juggler was no stranger to Celebro. Through unconventional methods, this alien had wiped out multiple civilizations—his reputation was infamous.
"Celebro? Let me finish him off!"
Zero had naturally heard of Celebro as well. By the standards of the Land of Light, Celebro's crimes—destroying civilizations under the excuse of 'accelerating evolution'—were not considered especially severe.
But Zero was different.
If someone irritated him, he destroyed them. End of discussion.
"I agree. Let's just kill him," Riku added eagerly, gripping his club.
The rules of the Land of Light only bound Ultramen who belonged to it. Riku—Ultraman Geed—had never officially joined and was even living together with the redeemed Belial.
He acted far more freely.
That said, Riku was kind-hearted. He aspired to become a hero like the shining champions he admired, so he rarely caused trouble on his own.
"Yuzhou-san, what do you think?"
Juggler did not voice his own opinion. Instead, he dragged out his words and looked toward Yuzhou.
"I think… we should wait a bit."
The moment Yuzhou spoke, everyone except Juggler was stunned.
"Yuzhou, he's not exactly harmless!"
Zero immediately protested, raising his fist as if ready to strike.
"Yeah! How can we let him go?"
Riku quickly echoed.
"Hmph."
Celebro glanced at Yuzhou, clearly puzzled as to why Yuzhou seemed to be sparing him.
That said, Celebro had no intention of being grateful.
Upon closer observation, Celebro realized something unsettling—
in the original timeline, Yuzhou had never existed at all.
Why he appeared in this timeline was completely beyond Celebro's understanding.
"What are you snorting for?"
Hearing Celebro snort coldly, Yuzhou kicked him once—not too hard. After all, Celebro was still using Kaburagi Shinya's body.
"Even if you plan to protect me," Celebro said, red light flickering in his eyes, "you won't be able to stop my grand game!"
"When did I ever say I'd protect you?"
Yuzhou chuckled, clearly amused.
"It seems you've misunderstood something. What I meant was—he's still carrying a lot of valuable stuff. We loot him first, then kill him."
Celebro: "..."
"Good grief!"
"Got it—start looting!"
"Wait—let me be the first to slash him!"
Once they understood Yuzhou's intent, everyone became energized. Their expressions made Celebro feel as though he were the victim—and these people were the real villains.
Juggler wholeheartedly agreed with Yuzhou's approach.
Even as Ultramen—beings of light—acting freely was not a bad thing, as long as they did not cross the line.
With a single slash, Juggler cut open Celebro's outer clothing. Several coin-like medals clattered onto the floor.
Picking them up, Juggler read their names one by one:
"Ultraman Belial."
"Gomora."
"Red King."
"King Joe."
"Zetton."
"Ace Killer."
"Eleking."
…
Zero searched Celebro as well, but aside from a red, newly upgraded Z Riser, he found nothing else.
For now, these were the only medals recovered. Many others had been single-use items, consumed by Celebro long ago.
"How did he even make these monster medals?"
Zero asked, puzzled.
"Ultra Medals are Hikari's specialty. How did this Celebro manage to replicate them?"
"Back then, didn't Belial and Fukuide Kei also manage to create Monster Capsules?"
Yuzhou waved dismissively.
"Nothing worth making a fuss over."
The difference between Monster Capsules and Monster Medals lay in their requirements.
Using Monster Capsules and the Geed Riser required Ultraman bloodlines and power.
But Monster Medals and the Z Riser only required an access authorization card.
"In that case, let's kill him already," Zero said, forming a blade with his hand.
Just as he was about to strike, Yuzhou stopped him again.
"Still not yet?"
Zero turned, clearly confused.
"Not yet," Yuzhou replied calmly.
"First, make him tell us where the medal-manufacturing equipment is."
Stealing fish was inferior to stealing the fishing rod.
Producing monster medals themselves—that was the real prize.
"Oh. That makes sense," Riku scratched his head, nodding in agreement.
They immediately began interrogating Celebro.
Under a barrage of punches and kicks, Celebro stubbornly refused to reveal where the medal-making machine was hidden.
Kaburagi Shinya's eyes were swollen shut from the beating, yet Celebro clenched his teeth and refused to speak.
"What do we do? He won't talk," Riku said, shaking his club as his palm began to ache.
"Hm…"
Yuzhou stroked his chin and stepped in front of Celebro.
Suddenly, his expression changed to one of shock. He pointed behind Celebro and shouted:
"Tartarus?! Why are you here?!"
"What?!"
Celebro's face changed instantly as he whipped around.
If Tartarus found out he had failed his task, there would be no good ending for him.
"As expected."
Feigning surprise, Yuzhou chuckled darkly.
"So you really are connected to Tartarus."
"I never thought you'd be working with Tartarus," Zero stepped forward, grabbing Celebro by the collar.
"Talk! Where is Tartarus right now?!"
"Damn it…"
Celebro hadn't expected his connection to Tartarus to make his situation even worse.
It was clear now—
there was no escaping from these people today.
"Actually, you don't even need to tell me," Yuzhou said calmly when Celebro refused to speak.
"I already know."
"You were saved by Tartarus, weren't you?"
