Berry Pie — The Sweet Reconciler

Recipe for cold days, when a wanderer's soul seeks consolation

What is needed:

* home eggs — 3 pieces (and let the hens know they lay not just white and yolk, but the basis of reconciliation)

* white sugar — one and a half measures (sweetness capable of sweetening the bitterness of offense)

* thick sour cream — one and a half measures (dense as remorse in the heart)

* butter — one hundred grams, melted (let it melt like ice between loved ones)

* wheat flour — two and a half measures (foundation of foundations, like love in the family)

* powder for fluffiness — a small spoonful (so the soul rises like dough)

* salt — a pinch (tears of remorse, in moderation)

And for the filling:

* ripe apples — 2 or 3, sliced (wisdom accumulated over years)

* forest berries — one cup (those very ones, gathered with thoughts of forgiveness)

* sugar — a spoon (sweetness of reconciliation)

* starch — a spoon (to bind what was destroyed by words)

* candied violet petals — a pinch (tenderness easily forgotten in a quarrel)

* dried calendula petals — a small pinch (sun capable of melting any chill)

How to prepare: In a deep bowl, where memories and forebodings connect, beat eggs with sugar to light foam—as if whipping hope for forgiveness. Add sour cream and melted butter—let sour mix with sweet, like tears with a smile. Add flour with salt and fluffy powder, knead thick dough, putting love and remorse into each movement.

Pour half into the form, top with apples and berries mixed with sugar, starch, and petals. Let each fruit piece carry memory of the good. Pour the rest of the dough on top—cover the filling with maternal care.

Put in the oven on moderate heat, bake until golden brown. Serve cooled and sprinkled with fragrant flowers, with herbal tea or thick honey.
