Chapter 196 - Chapter 196 - Working While Relaxing

Even through the screen, she could feel that aura of absolute supremacy radiating from him.

Her lower abdomen stirred with heat once more.

"Tch!"

Minami Mori rubbed her face in irritation. What was wrong with her lately?

Was the pressure really getting to her that badly?

Getting aroused just from looking at this young man...

...

...

Genesis Group, President's Office.

Seiji Fujiwara stood before the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, gazing down at the glittering cityscape below.

His expression held the quiet calm of a man who had every piece exactly where he wanted it.

The pharmaceutical empire's territory had been assembled.

But this was only the beginning.

His true goal was to transform "Genesis" into an unstoppable colossus of Japan.

"...Seiji."

A soft voice, laced with absolute submission, drifted from behind him.

Sakiko Toyokawa stepped in carrying a cup of freshly brewed tea, prepared by her own hand. She wore a cream-colored skirt suit today, her pale blue hair cascading softly over her shoulders.

Delicate makeup graced her features. Those eyes that once burned with defiance and stubborn pride now held only gentleness and peace.

Ever since that day her secret had been exposed, she had changed.

No more struggling. No more resistance.

Instead, she had begun actively learning how to please him, whether in daily life or... in bed.

"Mm."

Seiji turned and accepted the teacup, taking a sip.

"Everything settled with Toyokawa Electronics?"

"Yes."

Sakiko gave a slight bow. "Per your instructions, all handover procedures have been completed. We've also trimmed one-third of the redundant staff and streamlined all production lines. Projections show we should turn profitable by next quarter."

Her voice was steady and clear, like a consummate professional executive.

"Good."

Seiji nodded, reasonably satisfied with her efficiency.

He set down the teacup, walked to his desk, picked up a document, and tossed it to her.

"This one's yours too."

Sakiko caught the file and opened it, freezing when she saw the contents.

Proposal for Restructuring Dawn Entertainment Agency Personnel

Dawn Entertainment?

Wasn't that the talent agency the Toyokawa family had invested in?

"This is..."

"You have a bit of talent for business." Seiji's tone was casual. "But you're not ready to handle Toyokawa Electronics yet."

"Practice with this agency first."

"Understood." Sakiko accepted without argument.

She truly wasn't capable enough yet.

Most of the heavy lifting at Toyokawa Electronics had been done by Seiji's people.

Of course, she was still just a high schooler.

Until she graduated university, learning would remain her primary focus. She wouldn't truly manage any company.

Still, that name. Dawn Entertainment.

Uika, huh?

Sakiko thought of a certain someone, and countless memories surged through her mind like a tide.

After a long moment, she finally snapped back to the present, letting out a soft sigh.

But then she smiled, picking up her phone and dialing a number.

If she was managing Dawn Entertainment, and Uika was at Dawn Entertainment, she could look after her.

Ring...

The phone rang for a long time before someone answered.

"Hello? Saki?"

The voice on the other end sounded almost disbelieving.

"Uika."

Sakiko smiled. "It's me, Saki."

"It really is you, Saki?!"

The voice instantly filled with excitement.

"It's been so long since we talked!"

"It has."

Sakiko spoke in a light, slightly mysterious tone. "I'll be visiting your company in a week."

"I'll have a surprise for you then."

"A surprise?" Uika sounded confused.

...

...

Dawn Entertainment.

President's Office.

Sakiko Toyokawa sat in the executive chair, feeling not the satisfaction of power, but an endless, crushing exhaustion.

Before her rose a mountain of documents.

Promotional Budget Proposal for Sumimi's New Single.

Third Quarter Financial Report and Tax Audit.

Internal Investigation and Recommendations Regarding Multiple Trainee Bullying Incidents.

...

Each document represented a pile of numbers she couldn't decipher, a web of relationships she couldn't untangle, and industry practices she'd never even heard of.

Her eyes were bloodshot.

Even her careful makeup couldn't hide the dark circles.

She'd been running this company for nearly a week now.

And this week had felt longer than her entire eighteen years of life combined!

She'd thought that with her knowledge and experience, managing a second-tier entertainment agency would be a breeze.

She'd been catastrophically wrong.

Business was a beast a hundred times more complex and ruthless than she'd ever imagined.

She was like an unarmed girl thrown into a gladiator's arena, battered and bloodied by this monster until she could barely stand.

Every day she arrived before dawn to deal with accumulated matters.

Every night she stayed up late just trying to understand a single financial report.

She rubbed her throbbing temples and grabbed the stone-cold coffee from her desk, forcing it down.

The bitter liquid slid down her throat but did nothing to clear the fog in her mind.

Knock, knock, knock.

A soft tap at her office door.

"Come in."

Sakiko's expression grew even more irritated at the sound, but she answered anyway.

Her new secretary, a sharp-looking young woman, stepped in and placed another document on her desk.

"President, this is the final proposal for the new talent audition. It requires your signature by end of day."

Another one...

Sakiko looked at the thick stack of papers and felt her vision blur.

She waved her hand weakly. "Leave it there. I'll look at it later."

"Yes, ma'am."

The secretary withdrew.

Silence reclaimed the office.

Sakiko slumped back in her chair, eyes closed.

So tired...

She laughed bitterly at herself.

Maybe...

Maybe she was only ever meant to be a plaything, lying in bed with her legs spread, using her body and that special "nectar" to please a man.

The whole "businesswoman" thing just wasn't for her.

...

Dawn Entertainment, Practice Room.

"One. Two. Three. Four..." "Movement! Your movements need to be precise! You're idols! Not old ladies doing morning exercises in the park!"

The dance instructor's shouts echoed through the empty studio. Before the mirrors, two girls in matching practice uniforms dripped with sweat as they repeated the same grueling choreography. Uika Misumi was one of them. Sweat rolled down her face, soaking her collar. Four hours of practice already. Her legs felt like lead, but she didn't dare stop. The performance date was approaching fast, and they still hadn't mastered the routine.

"Alright! That's enough for today! Dismissed!"

At the instructor's command, Uika and Rina collapsed to the floor like puppets with their strings cut. The practice room filled with heavy panting. Uika pulled a water bottle from her bag and gulped it down. She looked at her exhausted reflection in the mirror, feeling lost. Is this... what being an idol means?

Since being discovered by a scout and signing with Dawn Entertainment, she and another girl had formed the duo "Sumimi" and successfully debuted. To the outside world, they were glamorous, adored pop stars. But only she knew the truth. Behind that glamour lay endless high-intensity training, obsessive weight management, and cruel bullying from rival trainees. She was so tired. Sometimes she even thought about just giving up.

But whenever she thought of Saki, a spark of hope would reignite in her heart. Ever since that day when Saki had called to tell her she'd become this company's new president, Uika's whole world had brightened. Saki... is back! The thought of reuniting with Sakiko, of being in the same company, of seeing her often. Uika felt strength flowing back into her limbs.

After practice ended, she said goodbye to Rina, gathered her things, and left the studio. Passing by the top-floor president's office, she instinctively looked up. The office lights were still on. It was almost ten at night.

Worry crossed Uika's face. Sakiko's still working this late? These past few days, she'd caught distant glimpses of Sakiko several times. Every time, Sakiko had been rushing somewhere, brow furrowed, face etched with exhaustion. Uika's heart ached. Sakiko... carries too much. With that thought, she pulled out her phone and sent Sakiko a LINE message.

[Uika: Saki, thank you for working so hard. It's late. Please rest soon and take care of yourself.]

...

Inside the president's office, Sakiko looked at the message on her screen, filled with Uika's concern, and warmth flooded her chest. She was about to reply with a simple "thank you" when her personal phone rang. [Seiji]. The moment Sakiko saw the caller ID, she forgot all about Uika. She hurried to answer.

"Seiji... good evening."

"Still at the office?" That familiar, lazy drawl came through the speaker.

"Y-Yes. There's still some work... I haven't finished."

"Oh?" Seiji laughed. "Sakiko's become a workaholic now? That won't do!" His tone shifted abruptly. "You've been so focused on Dawn Entertainment that you've been neglecting your work on my end for days."

"I..." Sakiko's face flushed crimson in an instant. She knew exactly what "work on his end" meant. These past few nights, when the world went quiet, she'd found herself craving Seiji's fullness. That bone-deep emptiness was even more torturous than dealing with these damned documents. "I..."

"I'm coming to see you, Sakiko." Seiji's voice carried a smile. "Tonight, at Dawn Entertainment. We'll work and relax at the same time."

The call ended. Sakiko stood frozen, phone in hand. Coming to the office to see her? "Work" and "relax" simultaneously? Here?! Her first reaction was anticipation. She and Seiji had tried similar scenarios in many places before. Dawn Entertainment just hadn't been one of them yet.

"Mm..."

Sakiko rose and walked to the office's private suite.

She peeled off that confining business suit and changed into something she'd hidden in the closet...

A black lace set with barely enough fabric to qualify as clothing.

Over it, she pulled on a loose white dress shirt.

Seiji's shirt.

Only after all that did she return to her desk.

She picked up a document, pretending to work diligently.

But her trembling hands and the flush spreading across her cheeks betrayed the storm inside her.

...

Ten-thirty at night.

The office building housing Dawn Entertainment had fallen into deep silence.

Most offices had gone dark, with only a handful of windows still glowing with the faint light of devoted workaholics burning themselves out.

Among them, the most striking was the president's office on the top floor, its entire wall of windows blazing bright.

That warm orange glow stood like a lighthouse in the darkness, proclaiming the new president's "dedication" and "commitment."

Click.

The soft sound of an electronic lock disengaging.

Seiji Fujiwara pushed open the door and stepped inside.

A dim floor lamp bathed the office in amber light, creating an atmosphere that was intimate and hushed.

Sakiko Toyokawa sat primly behind that massive executive desk.

Her hair was pinned up without a strand out of place. Her makeup was flawless, the picture of a professional woman.

She looked every bit the diligent worker. But her trembling lashes and the hands gripping her knees, white-knuckled, betrayed just how far from calm she really was.

Seiji watched her trying so hard to appear "normal" while her entire body radiated "I'm nervous" signals, and the smile on his lips deepened.

He said nothing.

Just walked toward her, step by step.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

The sound of leather heels striking marble rang out sharp and clear in the silent office.

Each footfall landed directly on Sakiko's heart.

Her breath quickened. Her pulse raced.

Seiji stopped before her, looking down with eyes full of predatory intent, as if admiring a work of art.

"Seiji... good evening."

Sakiko kept her head down, not daring to meet his gaze, her voice barely a whisper.

"Look at me."

His voice was soft but carried an unmistakable command.

Sakiko slowly raised her head, her eyes meeting his.

Inside them burned a fire she knew all too well.

"It seems Sakiko missed me quite a bit?" He reached out, tilting her chin up with one finger.

"Not really..."

The denial came instinctively. But the instant his finger touched her skin.

A strange, tingling current shot through her entire body.

Her legs had already begun to weaken.

Deep in her belly, heat began to rise.

"Such a stubborn mouth."

Seiji smiled.

He leaned down, bringing his lips to her ear, and whispered in a voice only they could hear:

"Then why... did you change into special underwear?"

"—!"

Sakiko's whole body locked up!

Her cheeks burned scarlet!

He noticed!

"Mm... smells wonderful."

Seiji's nose traced along the curve of her ear.

He breathed deep, an expression of intoxication crossing his features.

"That scent only you have. Unique. Like fresh peaches."

"Sakiko, you really are... born for this."

Those shameful words hit her like the most potent aphrodisiac, shattering what remained of her composure.

Her body went completely limp.

She melted into the chair like water.

"Looks like Sakiko can't wait any longer."

Seiji straightened, his smile turning wicked.

But he didn't satisfy her immediately.

Instead, he pulled over a chair and sat facing her, gesturing at the mountain of documents on her desk.

"Come now."

"Report to me on your work this week."

"Let me see if you've been slacking off."

"Yes..." Sakiko fought against the emptiness and craving consuming her body, beginning her report in a trembling voice.

"Regarding... Sumimi's new single budget... I... I believe the promotional costs could be further..."

Her words came out broken and fragmented.

Because Seiji's hand had somehow found its way beneath the desk.

Through the thin fabric of her stockings, his fingers traced slow, deliberate circles.

Sakiko's body burned hotter with every stroke.
