Xers had defeated Graumer Isot on the spot. Now, only Morgath remained as a tough opponent in front of Xers. However, the state of the team was dire—out of eight, only one had survived. Afterwards, Xers received a new status report from Gein. They start speaking over the radio:
"Testing, testing, can you hear me?"
"Yes, I can, Xers."
"I've taken Graumer Isot out of the equation. How are things on your side?"
"We've completely cleared Okikaku, but we have a serious problem."
"What is it?"
"The clan only has twelve people left."
"So losses keep increasing every time, huh? If not for Isot, we would still have at least thirty or forty magicians."
"But you did well to take down Isot, Xers. Now only Morgath remains as the big obstacle."
"Yes, that's true, Gein."
"When are you finishing your tasks in Lisu? We need to join forces for Morgath."
"I think there's only one last bandit group left, then we'll join you."
"Alright then, we're heading to Rawen, Morgath's castle."
"Don't go in without us!"
"Relax, we'll scout the area and find attack points first."
"Okay, see you there."
The radio goes silent.
Inside the castle, the situation is chaotic. Morgath, after the death of her husband Isot, had completely lost her mind.
"How could this happen?! How could the Miracle Of Void clan fall so low?!"
"Empress, please calm down! Hope is not lost yet!"
"This Gein guy and his clan are almost a tenth of our size! How can they achieve such superiority?!"
"They have a celestial-powered magician with them, Your Majesty."
"I've heard of this Xers guy too! He killed Isot! Ah, my beloved! How dare they!"
"Empress, if I may, I would like to present our new weapon to you!"
"NO! I WON'T ALLOW THIS STUPID CLAN TO LOSE ANYMORE! I'll take over now!"
"Empress, this is extremely dangerous for you! Let our men handle it!"
"Handle it? The 350 men we've lost?!"
"The glory of Miracle Of Void remains, Your Majesty."
"The glory is gone. I'm dissolving the clan."
"W-what?!"
"None of you will escape the wrath of the Void. You will return to me."
"W-what do you mean?"
"The Void!"
A black hole suddenly forms around Morgath. About the size of a street, the black hole begins devouring the castle.
"E-empress M-Morgath! Stop!"
"I will absorb your energy, I'll handle this myself."
Everyone in Morgath's clan begins being pulled into the black hole, because those who joined the Miracle Of Void clan have their energy bound to Morgath. Thus, when she wants to reach her final form, all she has to do is absorb the energy of all the people she's gathered.
The castle collapses. Everything nearby is sucked into the black hole. All clan members are pulled in, one by one.
With every person absorbed, Morgath grows stronger.
"This is real power! I can feel it!"
The castle and its surroundings are eventually unrecognizable.
Morgath finally reaches her final form, purple wings sprouting from her back, dark aura spreading around her.
About two hours later, Gein and his team arrive near the castle, unable to believe their eyes.
"W-what happened here? The castle and its surroundings are unrecognizable? What happened to this magnificent castle?"
"Commander! Morgath seems to have opened her black hole and fully amplified her energy. It's better if we leave now!"
"Yes, let's do that. She could still be around."
Gein and his team leave Rawen.
Gein opens the radio to Xers.
"Xers, this is Gein."
"Yes, Gein. I'm listening."
"M-Morgath…"
"What about Morgath?"
"She's entered her final form."
"Final form?"
"Yes, the black hole is active. We've left Rawen and are staying in a nearby village. Come tomorrow and we'll attack together."
"Understood."
The radio shuts off.
"W-what is this?"
From above, the purple insects Morgath produced begin swarming toward the villages. The insects are about the size of a hand, spewing black-purple saliva that burns everything around them.
"Th-this must be Morgath's final form! I need to stop these insects! Gomerai! Kill them!"
Gomerai emerges from underground and attacks the invading insects. But more keep appearing.
"Ahh! These insects never end!"
Xers slices dozens per second, yet they keep coming.
"This won't end like this! We need to find Morgath!"
Meanwhile, Gein and his team face the same situation.
"What are these things?! They move so fast! RED!"
A red sphere appears in the air, exploding clusters of insects.
"Commander! More are coming!"
"I see them! Green!"
A green sphere appears, spraying acid everywhere.
"Commander! Hundreds are coming from that tree!"
"Everyone fall back, I'll use Chroma!"
Gein closes his eyes and focuses on his technique.
"Pure colors, the combination of all my techniques, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow… Chroma!"
Chroma grows to the size of a house and obliterates the area. No insects, plants, or trees remain.
"Phew! That was exhausting! B-but they're still coming! The best course is to find Morgath—their source is most likely her. Let's go team, we're hunting Morgath!"
