"What… just happened?!"
Glacier's eyes widened,
shock and fear flashing across her face
as she glanced back.
Behind her, the land was no longer whole.
A vast canyon—cleanly slashed,
as if by an invisible blade—
split the earth apart, stretching endlessly
into the distance.
Her breath hitched.
No.
She clenched her teeth and snapped
her gaze forward.
"I can't get distracted now!"
He thoughts raged continously
"The murderer is standing right in front of me!"
Her killing intent surged.
"Today… BRORK WILL DIE!"
With a thunderous burst of force,
Glacier rocketed into the sky,
frost trailing behind her like a comet's tail.
"Hmph."
Brork smirked, his eyes crawling over her
with naked desire.
"Having will doesn't mean
there's always a way," he said mockingly.
"But thanks to your futile resistance…"
His grin widened.
"I've decided to keep you alive.
I'll use your body as a forge for my rank."
Glacier ignored him completely.
Her eyes closed.
From her body, immense chilling energy
poured out, the air itself screaming as it froze.
She stood still—waiting.
"But first," Brork continued, raising his fist,
"let's break that little spirit of yours."
He punched forward casually.
And then—
Time stopped.
Glacier's hair turned pure white in a single
instant.
Her eyes snapped open.
A terrifying force erupted from her body.
Brork's instincts screamed.
Danger!.
He vanished into the void.
"SECT MASTER!!"
The two elders shouted in unison.
Too late.
They froze instantly.
Their bodies, their expressions—locked in ice.
Even Brork's energy punch,
which had already formed in front of Glacier.
Solidified—frozen mid-strike, crystalline
and unmoving.
Then—
Like shattered glass—
The elders' frozen bodies broke apart,
dissolving into icy dust, scattered and carried
away by the wind.
Glacier's power did not stop.
Her energy pierced the void itself.
Brork's eyes widened in disbelief.
He burst back out of the void,
retreating rapidly—this time unleashing
even more power.
A terrifying aura exploded outward.
Peak Mortal-God energy.
No—
It was deeper.
Heavier.
Like an ancient hermit monster that had
hidden away for countless years.
Yet even then—
Frost crept across his feet.
His pupils shrank.
"Damn it!"
He slammed his fist into his chest.
BOOM!
A violent shockwave exploded outward,
shattering the frost clinging to him.
His energy surged again—
this time colliding directly with Glacier's.
The air screamed.
The world trembled.
Two hundred meters away.
El-Mond halted mid-air abruptly,
extending an arm.
Eldred stopped instantly.
El-Mond's expression turned grave,
his eyes locked on the distant battlefield.
"Glacier…" he muttered.
Then sharply—
"Move further away. NOW."
Eldred froze for a split second—confused—
but obeyed without question,
rocketing more than three hundred meters away.
The moment he did—
A wave of chilling energy swept across the sky.
It surged toward El-Mond,
nearly catching Eldred as his boots froze
solid mid-flight.
Only the distance saved him.
The frost halted.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!"
Eldred shouted, his voice trembling as
he looked back.
The lush green mountain ranges…
The fertile lands…
All of it had transformed into endless
frost-covered mountains and frozen terrain.
A FROZEN WORLD.
El-Mond lowered his gaze to his own body.
He could feel it.
That cold.
That monstrous, rampaging energy.
His cells were being destroyed
by Glacier's power—
And at the same time—
Rebuilt instantly by his Eater energy.
Death.
Rebirth.
All occurring within the span of a single
nanosecond.
El-Mond exhaled slowly.
His eyes darkened.
To Be Continued.
