Zaen sighed after Eira left.
"Just when I thought they weren't completely crazy…"
Imagine sending anomalies to the students' dorms just because one of the senior students proved to be incapable of keeping his cool and lost the duel. Zaen looked at Ben, who was fast asleep, snoring without a care in the world.
He wasn't the only one like that. The entire dorm had turned into a hibernation chamber. Everyone was tired and beaten to the point where Zaen didn't think they'd care enough to fight even if he woke them up.
It wasn't like he was helpless. He peeked out of the window, but there weren't any anomalies in sight.
"Don't tell me I have to look for them now…"
He slammed the stick onto the wooden floor, and it immediately got covered with rot. Graveborns once again rose from the ground and immediately bowed upon seeing Zaen.
"Nishimiya didn't disappoint me," Zaen mumbled, looking at their bowed forms. "Their loyalty has certainly increased."
