I woke up because someone was knocking loudly on the door in a bed and room that i didnt know
atleast that was my first reaction but then i remembered
the memories of the former owner of this body.
I am in the loen kingdom living in the city of hope backlund.
But i am in the east borough a place only the poor live in
my name is viktor i grew up without a father only a mother.
His mother worked hard everyday to exhaustion and one day died in her sleep.
The owner of this body viktor already helped a lot in the house as a child but after his mothers death he needed to find a real job.
While it was hard to find a job as a teenager without any real skills he was later able to find a job. He worked everyday just to survive everyday was the same till he met a strange person who called himself edward. He wanted me to tell him the current situation at east borough he told me he would pay me for it. I told him what i knew and he gave me 10 soli for it he told me that he would like me to ask around about information for gangs and any other important things when i found something useful he would pay me. I found it quite strange at first but since i barely made enough i didnt say no he told me a place where i should put a letter in a mailbox without anything written on it when i do that he would come visit me a day after after that. I began asking for information when i had breaks from my work i began slowly asking for information about gangs and when i got something useful i would put a letter in the mailbox and he would come visit me a day after i got paid quite good often only 5-10 soli but one time when i heard about a gang war i was even paid 2 pounds it was a lot for me at that time months went by like this.
I worked normaly most of the time but edward sometimes came by to visit for no reason but to talk and ask how my work went and about my personal live.
he asked what i wanted to do and achieve and so on.
Although i found it suspicous i did answer most of the questions honestly since i didnt see why i shouldnt answer and what it could bring him to know about such things.
One day he told me that he wanted to show me something i went with him.
After a bit of a walk we went to alley and soon a house which i didnt know was in sight. When we entered i was a bit afraid he went to a basement in the house which made me even more afraid but when we went down i saw a person that was chained on the chair he was sitting on at first i wanted to run away or scream but when edward looked at me i was to afraid to do anything edward told me that since i wanted to change my life he will show me a path to do that.
Then in his hands a green fireball Appeared he put the flames on the chained man not only did it burn him but he also started to cough up blood while being burned edward looked completly normal as if he didnt just kill a person he then told me that there are special people in this world called beyonders with special powers such as him he explained this all while the chained man was still screaming and on fire i felt weird in this moment Horrified by the lack of emotions that edward showes and the chained man burning besides him but also relieved that it didnt seem like edward wanted to kill me. What edward said next shocked me though "if you want to change your destiny i can make you also a beyonder". It shocked me to think that i have the chance to also become a beyonder if i could also control fire and have mystical Abilities he might be able to change his future but he hesitated it would mean to work with edward a person who just killed another human just to show his abillities to him then edwad said.
"are you really hesitating even though i am giving you a once in a life time oppurtunity"
It did make me think this is a once in a life time oppurtunity but why did he give me one.
Slowly the man who was tied down stopped screaming and seemed dead.
"why are you giving me this chance?"
"because i wanted a student and i think you will be a great pick"
Although i didnt know if this is the truth i accepted it
"if you can truly give me such abillities then i accept being your student"
"tommorow i will visit you with a potion it will be the start of your path"
After that i started walking home although i accepted
im still thinking about the offer was it really the right decision im unsure
i went home and went to sleep altough its hard to sleep im exited nervous
scared and so much more but after laying in bed i did fall asleep after a while.
The next day viktor woke up again but this time it wasnt viktor but someone else who took over his body without wanting to.
