"Avalon, quite young huh?
Can't escape the snare… mfgh… hogi. "
Silver started quite clearly, but the latter part of his words turned intelligible mumble.
A stunned expression appeared on the young man's face, wiping the smirk from his expression instantly. He couldn't quite make heads of how the seemingly energetic Silver suddenly starts mumbling to himself all of a sudden.
"Um… are you?… "
Avalon didn't quite know if messing with this man was the right choice anymore. He shouldn't be having a mental breakdown yet, right?
"Who are you looking at like that?"
Silver snapped. How can this kid embarrass him so much? That is absolutely unacceptable.
"Alright, whatever you say buddy, whatever you say."
Avalon wisely decided to let this clumsy cop off temporarily. Although he likes being mischievous when he is bored, it isn't to the level of wrecking a man thoroughly. This Silver seems a bit mentally unstable right now so…
"And we are here.
Hihihihihiee."
Silver cackled a bit, as he can already imagine his liberation, his freedom from this little devil. After all who won't be happy to hand over their problems to someone else?
The vehicle pulled up before a star shaped building, the layout and multiple roads connected to it makes it the ideal headquarter. It seems to be well managed, as traffic follows a coordinated pattern depending on their roles.
Rainbow tinted glasses all over the building reflects light in such a way that it creates a mysterious vibe.
"Beautiful! Woah!
Who ever designed this building deserve an aw…"
The rest of his sentence was left uncompleted, as he was dragged from the car like an unwanted package.
The strangest thing about all this situation is the fact that the young man doesn't seem quite bothered in the slightest, if anything, the situation seems quite fun to him.
Avalon was dragged to about halfway towards the star shaped entrance, then the motion suddenly turned gentle, and he knows why.
"Silver, woah!
You secured a boogie, lucky bastard! You get all the action while we get so bored over here.
Can we swap?"
Torrents of curses and question was hurled their way, as a fat figure rolled out of the main entrance after sighting them.
The uniform on this man is an absolute abomination, as it feels more like he was forcefully stuffed into it then vacuum sealed.
"As if you can move. What I you going to do to the criminals? Roll after them?"
Silver sneered, making sure to thoroughly cook, but it seems this fat guy is already immune, as the next response thoroughly subverted his world view.
"At least I got the privilege to roll to the next rank, how about you?"
The fatty's response made every where blurry, as Silver was completely stunned, making him forget the fact that he was apprehending a suspect.
A fat guy who stays in office all day doing the bare minimum got a promotion, he that has been working like a horse got nothing. How unfair can the world be, how unfair?
"I am your superior now so…"
Silver didn't let the fat guy finish whatever he had to say, as he quickly dragged silver into the building.
A brightly lit hallway appeared as the lighting that ran along the corners of the wall, spiraled in a twisted white and green haze down to the end of the hallway.
They appeared before a middle aged woman at the reception desk, as she paused going through the document on her desk.
"Suspect seems to be tempering with the security terminal in my sector."
Silver laid the charges and followed the necessary procedure he needs to.
"Alright, I will take it from here. Thanks for your service."
The woman pushed up her glasses and gave her response, not even taking a second glance at Silver.
Silver gazed at Avalon with a smirk, as he tried so hard to hide his relief— finally he is free from this menace, finally!
Silver rushed out of the area as if a dynamite was sent after him, not even pausing for a breath. What a joke, who wants to be tortured with such a little devil?
"Avalon Infinity, do you know this is a second degree crime?"
That same woman at the desk now stood before him, turns out she was a detective, as her gaze bored down on him like scorching rays.
"I was bored, that's why I needed to have fun."
Avalon replied calmly, as he also gazed into her eyes with no remorse.
The detective took off her glasses and pinched her forehead looking quite troubled.
"Don't dishonor his name by your mischievous actions, you should use his influence for something better."
The detective took out a file and filled it before turning to Avalon, but this time she doesn't look fierce at all.
"I do know what to do with my life, having fun is necessary now and then.
After all I got to experiment with how much I could get away with, so it isn't a loss at all. What do you think?"
Avalon could sense that she might be his dad's acquaintance, as the look of concern on her face tells him a lot. It's quite strange to him though, they have never met, yet this woman seems to recognize him, and she is also concerned about him.
All this doesn't seem to make much sense at all, after all he is just out to have fun, and not get involved in some spiraling arc or something.
"Just don't go overboard, and a vehicle will drop you off.
Just make sure you stay out of trouble, because it's not about what I think, but how situations like these may affect you in future."
His smirk is already gone after discovering she might be related to his dad. Not that he hates his father, but rather he doesn't want the influence of his dad to affect his experiments.
A city filled with wonders, buildings weaving together with the neon haze of the atmosphere to create a scene that seems straight out of a painting, the sound of vehicles and other machines seems to blend into the night sky—the aura and beauty of technology realized.
An advanced society that didn't forget nature, as trees, and well nurtured plants paint the scene with life an vitality. The overall blend between nature and science becomes an intoxicating presence that lingers with essence and beauty.
An enforcement vehicle pulled up in front of a well designed mansion, as the gates automatically opened like scattering flowers.
A young man stepped out of the vehicle and hurried into the building, as he ignored the elevator and ascends the crystalline stairs, arriving at a sitting room with golden design accents, as textured gold dust weaved through anything on sight
A man in his late forties stood before the window of the sitting room as he turned to see the intruder, turned out it was a young man with golden hair.
"Dad, why did you send someone to monitor me?"
