Gwen (Earth-65) and Peter Parker (Earth-65M)POV:

Parker Defense Solutions - The Celestial Forge Chamber

The chamber pulsed with quiet light. White and gold, alive like a sleeping star.

The Spider-Gang stood on the observation deck in borrowed Parker Industries fatigues, watching Peter work.

He didn't just tinker, he commanded.

Every motion was surgical; holographic schematics spun around him, equations writing themselves faster than anyone could follow. The eight confiscated watches hovered above a containment array, frozen in mid-air as quantum scanners swept through their cores.

"Man, he's intense." Pavitr whispered.

"Yeah," Hobie muttered. "Dude's got mad 'I built God before breakfast' energy."

Gwen didn't answer. Her eyes stayed on Peter not in fear but curiosity. There was weight in how he moved, how his silence filled the room like gravity.

She'd seen brilliant men before. None like this.

Finally, Peter straightened. "Found it."

The holograms froze, rotating to reveal fractal latticework within the dimensional circuits. Delicate threads pulsing red.

"They're not unstable." He said quietly. "They're infected."

Peni frowned. "Infected? By what?"

"Quantum tracer worms," Peter replied, voice sharpening. "Quantum data strands riding piggyback on your transdimensional signatures. Whoever sent you here can see what you see. They're not just tracking you, they're watching us."

A low ripple of alarm went through the room. Even Peter B. Parker's usual easy smile faltered.

"So," Peter continued, "we're going to fix that."

He snapped his fingers and the Forge responded. Lattices of light folding like origami. The watches disassembled into motes of gold dust, spinning in orbit around his hands.

Gwen had to admit, it was beautiful. Terrifying but beautiful.

The kind of brilliance that could rewrite worlds.

He murmured commands. Codes in machine languages none of them recognized as he rebuilt the devices from raw quantum fabric. When he was done, the watches were sleeker, more refined, etched with faint Parker-Industries sigils glowing in white-blue.

"There," Peter said, turning one in his hand. "Untraceable and dimensionally shielded. If anyone tries to spy on you again, the signal routes through a dummy pocket universe full of recursive paradoxes."

Spider-Ham blinked. "So… cartoon static?"

"Exactly." Peter said dryly. "Infinite cartoon static. Don't ask me, that universe really exists."

A soft laugh escaped Gwendolyn. "You've officially made nonsense a weapon."

Peter gave her a look. "I've been in the industry long enough to know nonsense is a weapon."

The tension in the room broke, a brief ripple of laughter that lightened the air. Even Gwen smiled faintly.

But then Peter's tone shifted again, lower. "Clanker, patch me through to Spartan Command."

The air shimmered; Frank appeared on the holo-feed, already suited up in black-and-silver Spartan IV armor.

"Go ahead, sir."

"Frank," Peter said, his expression flattening. "Phase Team Theta is authorized. Load dimensional phase lockers and quantum restraint anchors. Target: Jessica Drew, Earth-404. She's been spying on us."

Gwen's eyes widened. "Jessica Drew? She's one of us!"

"She's one of someone else now." Peter said, no emotion in his tone. "She used the tracer code to try to spy."

Hobie frowned. "You sure about that, mate?"

Peter's gaze was ice. "She pinged the Parker-Tower grid four minutes after the traces were detected. My network doesn't make mistakes."

Frank nodded once. "Understood, sir. Deployment ETA five minutes."

"Capture, not kill." Gwendolyn added firmly.

Frank gave a faint smile. "Always, ma'am."

The holo vanished.

For a moment, silence. The soft hum of the Forge filled the air.

Gwen (Earth-65) stepped forward. "You don't trust any of us."

Peter met her eyes, unblinking. "I trust results. And right now, the only thing keeping this planet intact is caution. We just fought off a galactic invasion two days ago."

"What?" We asked as we were all shocked.

Gwendolyn placed a hand on his arm. "And empathy." She reminded him softly. "We don't win by turning cold."

He hesitated, then exhaled. The light in his eyes dimmed slightly. "Yeah. Empathy."

Pavitr muttered, "They're like the cosmic version of my parents."

"Cosmic and terrifying." Peni whispered.

"Yeah," Peter B. said, adjusting his jacket. "But at least they're on our side."

Parker Tower – Observation Deck

Gwen watched the couple from a distance.

Peter and Gwendolyn, two halves of something vast and delicate. A man who carried the world on his shoulders and the woman who made sure he never collapsed under them.

She envied them. Not their power but their balance. Her Peter was trying but she wasn't even though she loved him.

Maybe, she thought, that's what Miles needed someone to believe in him even when the world didn't. She has her Peter ressurected by Quantum lightning and he's a great boyfriend but she's a terrible girlfriend.

Her watch blinked, newly rebuilt, now humming softly like a heartbeat.

Peter looked back at her, just once and said quietly, "Don't lose hope for that kid. The web doesn't break easily it just learns new patterns."

And somewhere above, beyond dimensions, another web stirred.

Because if the multiverse had guardians now, they weren't gods.

They were the Spiders.
