Chapter 548 - Integration

The routine began to take shape the next day.

No announcement.

No formal agreement.

It just… happened.

Scarlett woke up early again.

This time before me.

When I went downstairs, she was already in the main hall, organizing a few simple things. It wasn't necessary, but it didn't seem forced either.

It was adaptation.

"You don't stop."

"I like to understand the space."

"Already understood it?"

"Not yet."

"It'll take time."

"I have it."

The answer came naturally.

No pressure.

No expectation.

Lyannis showed up shortly after, still with messy hair.

"You really wake up early."

"Habit," Scarlett replied.

"I should try that."

"You won't."

"Definitely not."

Rai'kanna entered next.

"This is becoming a pattern."

"It works," I said.

"It works for people who wake up early."

Vespera and Elara arrived soon after.

Liriel came last.

The group gathered again.

But now…

with less adjustment.

Less observation.

More natural.

Scarlett was no longer being watched all the time.

And that was a clear sign.

Lyannis dropped into a chair.

"So… is there anything today?"

"No," I replied.

"Perfect."

Rai'kanna crossed her arms.

"This is getting too good."

"Don't get used to it," Vespera said.

"I know."

Elara looked at Scarlett.

"Do you already know the structure of the mansion?"

"Partially."

"I can show you later."

Scarlett nodded.

"I'd appreciate it."

Liriel observed in silence.

But without tension.

Just… ensuring.

After breakfast, the group dispersed.

No planning.

No obligation.

Scarlett stayed in the main hall for a few minutes.

Then stood up.

"I'll check the rest."

"Going alone?" Lyannis asked.

"I can."

Elara stood up.

"I'll go with you."

Scarlett didn't refuse.

The two left together.

Lyannis looked at me.

"She's doing well."

"She is."

"Fast."

"She learns fast."

Rai'kanna agreed.

"You can see it."

Vespera added.

"She observes more than she speaks."

Liriel nodded.

"And that avoids mistakes."

Time passed without urgency.

A few hours later, Scarlett returned with Elara.

"Already got it?" Lyannis asked.

"Yes."

"That fast?"

Scarlett shrugged.

"It's not complex."

Elara confirmed.

"She didn't have difficulty."

Rai'kanna stood up.

"Then let's test that."

"How?" Scarlett asked.

"Training."

The word was simple.

But clear.

Scarlett nodded without hesitation.

"Let's go."

The group moved to the outdoor area of the mansion.

The training space was already familiar.

No need for preparation.

Each one took their position naturally.

Scarlett stood facing Rai'kanna.

"Intensity?" Rai'kanna asked.

"Controlled."

"Good answer."

The fight began without announcement.

Direct movement.

No theatrics.

Scarlett didn't attack first.

She observed.

Rai'kanna advanced.

Fast.

Direct.

Scarlett dodged.

Without excessive effort.

The exchange continued.

Short strikes.

Clean movements.

No exaggeration.

No waste.

Lyannis was watching.

"She's good."

"Yes," Vespera replied.

Elara analyzed.

"Consistent control."

Liriel focused on the details.

Scarlett maintained the pace.

Without trying to dominate.

Without retreating too much.

Balance.

Rai'kanna smiled mid-exchange.

"You're not trying to prove anything."

"I don't need to."

"That's good."

The fight ended without a clear winner.

But with a conclusion.

Rai'kanna stepped back.

"You fit."

Scarlett took a deep breath.

"I know."

Not as arrogance.

But as a statement.

Lyannis approached.

"Now you're officially part of the group."

"I already was."

"Now it's confirmed."

Scarlett almost smiled.

Almost.

Vespera nodded.

"Test passed."

Elara added.

"No relevant flaws."

Liriel crossed her arms.

"Then it's done."

Just like that.

No ceremony.

No formality.

Scarlett didn't need to prove anything anymore.

She was already in.

The group returned inside the mansion.

No discussion.

No long analysis.

Everything had already been resolved in the field.

By the end of the afternoon, the atmosphere returned to normal.

Light conversations.

Comfortable silence.

Routine.

Scarlett was sitting near the window.

Watching outside.

I approached.

"Adapting."

"Yes."

"Fast."

"I told you."

"It's working."

She nodded.

"It is."

Silence.

But calm.

"Did you expect resistance?"

"A little."

"There wasn't."

"There was."

I looked at her.

"Controlled."

"Yes."

She turned her face.

"Enough to test."

"Now it's no longer necessary."

"No."

The sun was beginning to set again.

Marking the end of the day.

Scarlett took a deep breath.

"This is different."

"Again?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

She thought for a moment.

"Because now I'm part of it."

The answer was simple.

But definitive.

I agreed.

"You are."

She didn't say anything else.

She didn't need to.

Because at that point…

there was no doubt anymore.

The adaptation was over.

And what remained…

was continuity.
