Chapter-31: Jeff, the mannnn… that loves protagonist Robert
Even with the leather armor the goblin could not bear this kind of thing. Also Visva appeared in front of the goblin by the end and plunged the steel spear into its body killing it completely. All of this completed within 10 seconds of time.
What surprised Visva is that this goblin is not holding an ordinary bow and arrow. They are special magic artifacts. The arrows have higher damage value and the bow has wind elemental magic bonus that can go towards the target.
This is clearly arranged for the protagonist to get. Visva put it in his space leaving the body of the goblin and carefully collected all the spent arrows and other things. After that he went straight to the iron treasure chest and started to pick its lock.

He did not have time to check on them all. Instead he put them in his space to check them later. He went towards the direction where the protagonist should appear. Irrespective of that he went to kill the goblins in the room using the previous trick.
Then he disposed their bodies using the same trick from before and took these goblins to the room with the stairs to drop them there. Then he picked the lock of the wooden treasure chest in the pathway of the protagonist.
Under the pressure he was able to pick the lock of the treasure chest quickly. Because he did it in less time and quick work under the pressure he received more skill based experience points. He did not have time to check on them.
He picked the lock and took precaution by opening it which is like an ingrained habit. Finding that there is no trap he took the contents and left this place. He quickly returned to the passage way that belongs to him and started to pick the lock there.
Also he did not forget to drop the corpses of two goblins along with the two other goblins on the passage way leading to the boss room. It is not hard for protagonist to guess the situation. But Visva would not stay here for long for him to discover the problem.
Visva would leave here after picking up the lock of the wooden treasure chest on his side. With better experience it was very easy for him to pick the lock of the wooden treasure chest. Then he once again showed the cautious side.
"Sui… Sui…" as he expected the moment the box was opened two arrows shot out of the wooden treasure chest. It is a trap and Visva could not say anything other than cursing the luck of the protagonist.
After all he did not have any traps on his side but Visva got traps almost all the time ranging from arrows to poison. Visva quickly took the contents in the box and he did not even leave the two arrows that shot out. He climbed a ladder to collect the two metal arrows.
He can use them with his cross bow. Their size is perfect. After getting them he ran back towards the safe entry room on his side to the corridor that leads to the other safe rooms. From start to the end now the entire time he spent on clearing the place is only 15 minutes.
As soon as he got into the corridor he started to run towards the other room. First is the room of the protagonist where he saw protagonist walking into the room with two monster dogs. The slime cores are broken and it took him just 15 minutes.
For others it would be longer than just 15 minutes. Visva current target is the person in the next room to the protagonist called Jeff. He is one of the male supporting characters that joined the side of the protagonist in his past life.
He is very loyal to the protagonist because he is the person that bends towards the other direction. Yes he is man physically and has the mind of a woman. Not strangely enough he was attracted to the strong aura of the protagonist and became his male fan girl.
He tried almost every means and at one time Visva saw them being really intimate that made Visva vomit the food he ate at that time. He felt frightened and hid carefully without letting them know about what he discovered.
Fortunately they did not consider Visva as a threat as they can find him very easily with their powerful senses. Visva can be considered to have escaped successfully. But that did not stop him from knowing their secret.
Visva wanted to kill this Jeff because one time when Jeff could not find the protagonist to have fun he wanted to do something to Visva. Fortunately Visva was intelligent enough to escape the situation by being in crowded areas.
Visva now came to this room and found that this Jeff is still trying to kill the two slimes. Visva heard his inner voice and felt quite disgusted.
(Wow these slimes looked so good. Unfortunately I feel burning sensation coming into contact with them like touching acid or something. Sigh… I have to find their core to kill them quickly….) the inner voice of Jeff.
When he was distracted with killing the slimes by finding their slime core Visva sneaked up on him and directly pierced his heart using a metal spear from behind. Visva is not weak but considered strong right now.
His technique and power are in place and the man was pinned directly in the heart and like the security guard before Visva pushed him straight to the ground and pinned him. Jeff wanted to scream but his face happened to be buried into the body of the slime.
