Luo Yu activated the flower, releasing a light pink barrier of radiance that formed a domain around them."Within this domain, all toxins will be neutralized."
"So amazing?" Su Yaoyun said in surprise.
Seeing that the liquid inside the bottle showed no reaction at all while within the Fragrant Fairy Tulip's domain, Luo Yu felt reassured and put the flower away.
"Hey, you didn't even let me admire it a little longer." Su Yaoyun pouted her red lips in disappointment, clearly wanting more.
Luo Yu laughed. "You like it? If you do, I'll give it to you."
Su Yaoyun waved her hands. "Forget it. I hardly ever leave the house. If I had it, it would just end up as decoration—too much of a waste. It's better with you, at least it can ward off poison."
Luo Yu was about to reach into his treasure pouch again when Su Yaoyun stopped his hand and shook her head."Give it to me once you're stronger."
"And you're not allowed to give it to anyone else. I'm reserving it in advance."
"Alright." Luo Yu agreed with a smile.
Turning his attention back to the bottle of Illusory Spirit Wine, intense curiosity flashed in Luo Yu's eyes. He wanted to see what kind of miraculous effect this treasure that even the God of Death had cherished so dearly actually possessed.
"You're not really going to drink that, are you?" Su Yaoyun asked in surprise.
Luo Yu smirked slightly and rested his left hand on his waist."Ever since I got involved with you, this body of mine has been getting weaker by the day. Perfect timing to use this to replenish myself."
"Oh? Am I really that impressive? Isn't it always me who ends up suffering every time?"Su Yaoyun shot him a seductive glare, full of charm.
Luo Yu slowly raised the small bottle to his lips.
Su Yaoyun grabbed his hand and tried to stop him."Don't fool around. The energy stored inside this isn't a joke. Don't act recklessly."
"It's fine. I'll just try a single drop. Since we've confirmed it's not poisonous, there shouldn't be any major issue."
Su Yaoyun slowly withdrew her hand, carefully watching his movements. Truthfully, she was curious as well—and taking just one drop really shouldn't cause trouble.
With her consent, Luo Yu tilted the bottle slightly at his lips.
The black, transparent liquid shimmered with dreamlike, illusory radiance. Starlight-like specks seemed to drift within it as it slowly slid down the bottle's neck.
