Chapter 175: Final War
"Hermione are you scared?" asked Susan.
"Erghh... no," lied Hermione.
Of course she was scared but at the same time she didn't panic at all because she is confident she can deal with the Death Eater.
Months of training and learning had boost her confidence, she no longer a teenager Hermione but on an arch mage level
That was what her husband called her when she asked about her power.
"Me too," added Susan.
From top of tower they could see the hoarde of troll and giant walking toward them.
"It looks, it is time for us to defend this castle," smiled Hermione before opening the portal to the entrace.
Currently the Professor are busy saving the student and find out what really happen, so only Hermione on the entrance.
"Piertotum Locomotor," she casted a spell to a collection of stone on the wall.
The Knight jumped down and ready with their sword, feels it is not enough Hermione casted another spell and make their sword become as hot as surface of the sun.
"This should be enough," muttered Hermione before shouting to the group of golem knights. "Hogwarts is under attack, man of boundary protect the castle."
The Golem Knight with a sword that glowed like a sun moved towards the intruder.
Meanwhile Susan who saw what Hermione was doing just smile.
"It looks it is time for me to attack," muttered Susan while taking out the device from her pocket.
The shape of the device is like phone but there is only one red button it.
Before Dudley went to support the ministry, he had tossed this device to her.
"If the Giant Army dare to attack this place, just push this red button," said Dudley.
"What happen, if I press this button?" questioned Susan.
"They are bomb inside their brain and it has range of 4 km so that means, if they dare to come to this place it would save you trouble from fighting with those Giant," replied Dudley.
Now looking at the device he knows that the best way to defeat the enemy is by pressing this button but before that she need to give them a chance to give up.
She casted a sonorus and the moment she speak everyone can hear her voice.
"HELLO.... I AM SUSAN BONES AND I WILL GIVE ANYONE A CHANCE TO RETURN AND DON'T COME BACK HERE. OTHERWISE ONCE WE START THE WAR, THERE IS NOT TURNING BACK."
Death Eater just sneered hearing Susan warning and the giant they don't really talk human language but still understand that this is a warning from Susan.
Meanwhile those professor who are inside the castle finally jolted awake, except Professor Snape who had come to help the girls.
The others finally went out to take a look and found the horde of troll, giants, dementor and Death Eaters.
"What in the world has going on," said Professor McGonagall out loud.
BATTLE OF HOGWARTS - DEATH EATER.
"Go Ragul, they all yours," said the Death Eater.
Ragul the Giant roared and it means they are ready to attack the castle.
The Army of giant run towards the castle and thier big club are ready to tear down the building.
Suddenly the giant on the front lost their head, then beside that giant another giant explode and lost their head too.
It acted like Domino each of them lost their head with sound of explosion until the explosion come near Ragul and he can only open his eyes with horror.
'It is ma time?' thought Ragul before suddenly feel pain and lost his vision.
The Death Eater eyes grew afraid, how can there be a magic that can destroy Giant instantly, for everyone knows Giant is the highly resistant magic and it need several adult wizards to subdue just one giant.
But that woman, Susan bones are capable of destroying the giant with the explosion magic.
It wasn't just Death Eater who was surprised even the professors have seen what Susan had done.
Professor Snape finally believe with Dudley claim that Susan had the power to defend the castle.
Earlier when her warning are dismissed by the Giant, she gave them 20 seconds before finally decide to press the button and the impact was devastating, just imagine the head of giant explode simultaneously.
Even Hermione paused and looked at the giant with horror etched on her face but she didn't dwell for too long.
Her focus are on the Horde of Dementor who had come to attack them, for the troll the golem had easily kill them.
"Expecto Patronum." Someone just casted that spell and when she looked who was the caster, it was Professors who had come to help.
"Hermione, are you ok," said Professor McGonagall concern with her.
"I am ok professor," replied Hermione.
"Why are you going out, every student return to the dormitory," ordered Professor McGonagall.
"This is not the time Professor, we are still in war," shot Hermione back.
Suddenly they could heard a ghastly voice from dementor who looked like they are in pain.
"What is that?" asked Professor Flictwick surprised with the new patronus that could breathe blue fire and instantly kill the Dementor.
Hermione looked at Susan, the only one capable of using that spell are Susan and Dudley.
MINISTRY OF MAGIC
Death Eaters had cut the floo channel and there is only a few people in the Ministry of Magic, there is a reason why Voldemort choose this time.
According to the people who they had imperio, Amelia Bones work late tonight and there is also Rufus Scrimgeour the new head of magical law enforcement.
In their mind, this attack would surely win and tonight would be the last for Wizarding Britain.
"It has been confirmed that the floo channel had been cut," reported the Death Eater.
"How about Anti Apparation and Anti Portkey?" asked Voldemort.
"My Lord, that also has been put and no one can move," said the Death Eater.
"Remember there rune to turn off Anti Apparation instantly," remind Voldemort.
If let's say Dudley come to the ministry, there is no way he will let Dudley use the same move to defeat him. Last time they lost because of Dudley ability to move like apparation inside the anti apparation ward.
This time, Voldemort had put the rune to cancel the anti apparation ward instantly.
"Let's go my loyal follower," commanded Voldemort.
