As I dashed through the streets on four legs, the first place I went was where the battle was thickest. Most of the vampires had come forth for an all-out assault. Most of the vampires had come together for one final push through.
The ghouls and the vampires from the Sun Clan were fighting them off while the lamias circled around them for a pincer attack. Seeing this, I couldn't help but feel a bit proud. We had done a good job training them.
I suppressed my bloodlust so they wouldn't know I was coming. I attacked from the shadows. The first vampire I came across was fighting against a lamia who was holding a spear. He dodged the lamia's attacks, then appeared behind her, his claws poised to end the lamia's life, but at the last second, I rushed in and ripped out his throat.
"Alpha, thank you," the lamia thanked me, but just then another vampire rushed towards us.
