Khael's POV
I got to the company and I was worried that I would be recognised because of the few scandals I've landed in but everyone seems to be minding their business and went about their task like they never saw me.
I was met by a young lady, she had no scent whatsoever that I was sure she was a beta. She led me inside without another word after confirming my identity.
Darius was waiting for us inside a large office, he glanced up as the door opened and also stood up to meet me before I could walk further inside.
He smiled and I smiled back at him unsure of what to do. It was getting a little awkward but he smoothed things over and gestured to a seat.
"You sounded strange on the phone, have a seat". He said and I followed him to the set of settees.
"I…I need your help". I started, unsure of how to say the words.
