Chapter 46 - 46 - A Huge Harvest?

At the front gates of Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Geto and his followers happened to run into the first-year team returning from a mission.

"So, you're Yuta Okkotsu, huh? As expected, quite the fine young man."

Geto's expression brightened with enthusiasm as he eagerly grabbed Yuta's hands. The poor boy stiffened, clearly nervous.

"Let me introduce myself — I'm your senior, Suguru Geto. I came here specifically to meet you."

"Uh… you came to see me? Why?" Yuta asked, confused.

Immediately, Panda, Maki, and the others moved into defensive stances.

"Be careful, Yuta! He's a curse user now — an enemy of Jujutsu High!" Panda shouted.

Geto raised a hand casually.

"No need to be so tense. I'm not here to fight — I'm here to ask for your help."

His eyes softened as he looked at Yuta with a strangely sincere expression.

"Yuta, allow me to explain briefly. I have a rather wonderful plan — one that needs your investment."

"I intend to eliminate all non-sorcerers and create a world free of curses. But to achieve that, I need powerful cursed spirits."

Geto placed a firm hand on Yuta's shoulder, his tone impassioned.

"My chances of success were only about 20%... but if I could have Rika's help, that number would rise to 99%."

"Yuta, for the sake of this grand cause — lend me your strength."

"I refuse."

Yuta didn't even hesitate. All that talk about justice and purging non-sorcerers reeked of trouble.

"Think it over carefully," Geto insisted, trying to push once more. "This really is important."

"Give it up, Suguru. He's not going anywhere with you."

A calm voice interrupted. Gojo appeared beside Yuta, his expression unreadable.

At the same time, Yaga, Riko, and several other sorcerers who had sensed Geto's cursed energy quickly arrived on the scene.

Panda and Maki both exhaled in relief — they definitely didn't want to fight a special-grade sorcerer.

"Geto" Yaga said heavily, "it's not too late to turn back." He couldn't hide the guilt in his voice. Geto had once been his student. Watching him fall so far felt like his own failure.

"Suguru! Don't make another mistake!" Riko pleaded, unwilling to see her former friend become their enemy.

"So everyone's here, huh?" Geto's eyes swept across the group, a faint smirk curving his lips.

"Where's that annoying guy? I've got a special gift for him."

"Well, well, Geto boy, bringing your curse-user business all the way to Jujutsu High, huh? Must be doing good work."

Jinsuke strolled in lazily, looking rather pleased. Finally — it was harvest time. At this moment, even Geto's villainous face looked somewhat endearing to him.

"The annoying guy's here too, I see," Geto muttered, his expression darkening. "Perfect."

"Rika is mine, and not even Jujutsu High can stop me. Listen closely — on December 24th, I'll be holding the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

The locations… Tokyo's Shinjuku and the sacred land of Kyoto.

At that time, I'll unleash over a thousand cursed spirits across both cities and challenge the entire jujutsu world.Be ready."

With that, Geto turned to Jinsuke.

"You like cursed spirits, don't you? Then this should be fun for you — just try not to get ganged up on and killed, yeah?"

Then, with a snap of his fingers, dozens of weak cursed spirits materialized, surrounding Maki, Panda, and the others. Geto leapt onto a flying curse, his followers rising with him as they departed in dramatic fashion.

Gojo simply watched him leave, making no move to stop him.

"You idiot kid. Too impatient," Jinsuke muttered under his breath.

A few thousand cursed spirits to "challenge the jujutsu world"? Ridiculous. If it were him, he'd gather at least ten special-grade curses, hundreds of Grade 1s, and tens of thousands of lesser ones before trying something that bold.

Still, Geto's impatience worked in his favor — Jinsuke had been eyeing those cursed spirits for a long time. This was the perfect chance to reap the benefits. A major boost, indeed.

"Master, you came too?" Maki called out as she cut down the surrounding weak curses and ran over.

"Of course. I'm a teacher here, aren't I? Perfectly normal for me to show up." Then he added, "By the way, from now on, I'll be staying at the school for a while. I'll be in charge of your physical training.

You'd better work hard. Your sister Mai's furious that you didn't tell her about this — she's already run off to Kyoto Jujutsu High. She's determined to beat you."

Jinsuke eyed Maki carefully. She'd improved a lot since joining the school.

"Mai?" Maki blinked. "She's serious about that?" Of course she knew her sister — maybe too well.

"That's how it is."J insuke patted her shoulder, then looked at Yuta and the others. "I'll be waiting for you on the training field tomorrow morning. Classes begin then and continue until you're promoted to second-year."

Triple pay — with that kind of deal, he couldn't afford to slack off. Too many witnesses anyway.

"Yes, sir!"

"You sure got serious all of a sudden," Gojo remarked, glancing back.

"Geto's holding his Night Parade. I'm happy." Jinsuke accidentally said what he was really thinking.

A pay raise and a cursed spirit festival? Who wouldn't be thrilled?

"You—!" Gojo, still recovering from the pain of seeing his old friend walk away, almost exploded. This idiot was enjoying it? Unforgivable.

"Jinsuke-sensei still loves cursed spirits, huh," said Kusakabe with a sigh.

For Jinsuke, the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons might truly be a reason to celebrate.

"This man really hasn't changed," Mei Mei added, her now twin-braided hair swaying as she chuckled.

She had once assumed he exorcised strong cursed spirits purely for money. Later, she realized the truth — he simply enjoyed hunting powerful curses.

A peculiar hobby, to say the least.

"Alright, enough. It's been a long day," Yaga said, stepping between the two before things could escalate. "You're teachers — don't tell me you plan to fight in front of the students?"

"Principal Yaga, I'd never do such a thing," Jinsuke replied innocently. "Gojo, you're getting older — why so hot-headed?"

"Yeah, sure, I'm the impatient one," Gojo muttered, biting his tongue. He should've known better than to talk to this guy.

He and the Zenin brothers really didn't get along. Next time, he'd keep his distance.

Once they were sure there wouldn't be a fight, the teachers dispersed, each heading off to prepare for December 24th's Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

"What a shame," Panda sighed. "I was hoping to watch the two teachers fight."

Those two were famous around the school — even the higher-ups couldn't handle them.

After everyone parted ways, Jinsuke found himself a dorm room at Jujutsu High and settled in temporarily.
