"Grandma, are you in the room? Daniel and I are back."
Lucy and Daniel stayed in New York for a few days, bringing some specialties to visit her.
Bella heard her granddaughter's voice and immediately brightened up: "Come in, my dear Lucy."
Penelope saw this, and her heart sank. Her mother was like two completely different people when talking about her daughter and when talking about her granddaughter.
Lucy walked in, carrying all kinds of gifts, but when she saw her, the smile on her face faded.
She called out dryly: "Hello, granddaughter."
Penelope was not a fool; she knew clearly that Lucy did not like her.
"Mom, I'm going back to my room. You two can talk."
Daniel bowed his head and softly called: "Hello, Auntie."
Penelope glanced at him and hummed softly. But with Lucy's sensitivity, she still heard it.
As soon as she left, Lucy turned to her and complained, "Grandma, look at her attitude? Is it because of her cousin's matter that she doesn't like Daniel?"
