She continued looked at news on her TV. Good thing that she has shifted to a bi-weekly schedule for her manga a year ago using the excuse of preparation for college entrance exams. And she doesn't allow her editor to come up to her room.

Details: He will be discussing it with military and CIA about how to end the invasions without strengthening the terrorist organisations.
He will order immediate stop of all funding of Pakistan and its terrorist organisations, order the military to pull out from Iraq and Afghanistan without leaving behind a single weapon.
He will address the same on TV tomorrow 12pm US standard time, and threaten the military and CIA that they will be next if they don't follow these orders and don't stop the terrorists.

Yuri took a deep breath. It is the highest profile individual she has marked for death yet. And there isn't really any more higher profile individual in the world than US President.
Still, it means that if she gets caught, she will be treated as a big criminal, even though she did a great thing, which will save many people's lives.
Suddenly, the news was interrupted.
"This is a worldwide broadcast regarding the criminal, Kira.

Yuri just shrugged. She didn't take the bait.
Ryuk hovered over her, watching the news with interest.
"The world is after you, Yuri. He is guaranteeing that he will catch you."
"How will he? Who will even think that there is someone with a notebook which can kill people?"
"Hehehe... why don't you just kill him?"
"I don't want cults forming around Kira. Live death will only lead to a whole lot of extremists and terrorists."
"But what about after you die? Don't you want to fix the world? It will return to the same state—"
"I will be dead. What's the use? I will create peace during my time, what happens after doesn't really concern me. And well, everlasting peace is impossible anyway."

Yuri sighed. She isn't really as interesting as Light, so Ryuk is trying to make things entertaining for himself.
