MEMORY
Under a shadow of a tree there were two kids unknown of their future, one was Kaya and other one was K
"So... You want to have your own restaurant huh?!" Little Kaya asked, her cute little voice lingered
"Yeah..." Little K muttered, "then the best dishes in your restaurant should be my favourite dishes, okay?" Little Kaya cutely commanded, there was only innocence in her voice
K nodded as yes, "and what will be the name of the restaurant huh?!" Kaya asked, K was kinda shocked to hear because he didn't thaught that much
"What do you think? Give some suggestions" K requested her, she smiled "we will need to make sure that everyone will know that your restaurant's best dishes are my favourite" she explained
"Hmm..." K was only listening to her talks... "Then I have decided the restaurant's name will be 'Kaya's favourite restaurant"
IN PRESENT
K was driving the car while thinking about this cute little memories, he then remembered the face of Kaya when she was trying to make a direct eye contact with him
He chuckled "I'm curious how are you going to react when you will see my restaurant" K said to himself
"Tomorrow... We will meet again..."
In K's house, his mother, father and brother were sitting on a couch, his brother was working on a laptop
"Nolan..." K's mother took K's fathers name in her sweet and lovely voice, K's father looked at her "hmm..."
"Don't you think?... K and Kaya looks good together?" She asked, K's brother started to cough
K's father was shocked to hear this... "I also think they look good together but as friends" K's elder brother hesitantly said
"Yeah... I don't think they have any kind of feelings for eachothers" K's father said, "but I think they will look good together as a couple" K's mother said, and she placed her hand on her face
"Yeah, probably they will look good together but still we shouldn't force them to afterall they are not kids anymore" K's father said,
"Yeah you're right we should let them choose their own partners" K's mother said and her voice became a little sadder but a slightly happiness was showing
Kaya, Sherrin and Nataliya entered a house that was big, and had 2 floors, at night the RGB lights outside the house, highlighted the house coloured in white and blue
"Mom!..." Kaya called her mother, her mother came "Oh! Sherrin and Nataliya it's been so long since you two came at our place" Kaya's mother said,
"Aunty can we stay here today?" Sherrin asked for the permission, "yeah, you guys can it will be a pleasure to have both of you here" her mother happily said
"Ok! Then we're going to my room" and they went to upstairs, her mother was only looking at them "the kids are all grown up, aren't they?"
The house was beautiful coloured in white, many photos were hanging on the walls as the symbol of memories
Many rooms were on the ground floor, a living and kitchen was being parted by wall, and there were fragrance of impatience's flowers in the whole house
They entered Kaya's room, "so... Show us what you have" Nataliya said, Sherrin was only looking at the flowers pots
There were lots of flowers decorated in those pots, "you love flowers alot I guess" Sherrin said,
"Yeah, I do" Kaya said while opening the wardrobe, she then put out some clothes, and all of them were baggy jeans, coat, shirt, tshirt
Sherrin and Nataliya were disappointed "don't you have any dress?" Nataliya asked, Sherrin was only looking at those clothes "hey, in college days I never saw you wearing all this shabby clothes" Sherrin said
"Umm... It's because of Alan he never let me wear clothes on my own..." Kaya explained, both Sherrin and Nataliya looked at eachother
They both took a sigh, "that bastard" Nataliya said with grudges, "oh!... Kaya he is gone now just do things on your own" Sherrin's voice softened
"Hmm... But I don't have any other dresses" kaya said, they looked at those clothes, "I guess we will have to go for shopping tomorrow" Nataliya said
"Yeah" Sherrin muttered, "ok!..." Kaya muttered, "and where you both are going to meet, tomorrow?" Nataliya asked, Kaya looked at her "oh!... He is going to pick me"
NEXT DAY'S NIGHT
'time-9:44 P.M.' K was checking his phone, he was outside Kaya's house, he was wearing a black hoodie under a black jacket without a cap, and black baggy jeans
"Where is she?" His eyes were longing to see her, and his voice were waiting to talk with her, then the gate of Kaya's house opened and three women came out
But only one woman grabbed K's attention and it was Kaya wearing a red off-the-shoulder top with long sleeves, her shoulder was revealed and lower a black shorts over a black leggings, and blue socks with a black boots
Her hair was opened, and there were Sherrin and Nataliya too, Sherrin was wearing a black highneck under a blue jeans jacket and lower a blue baggy jeans
And Nataliya was wearing a woolen sweater and lower a white baggy jeans, "it is quite cold" Kaya thought, "hey, is he K?" Sherrin asked in her low voice, "yeah"
"He is quite good looking" Sherrin said, "hey!... He will be Kaya's fake boyfriend, you know" Nataliya whispered, "yeah yeah I know can't I even compliment someone?" Sherrin asked
Then both Kaya and K's eyes met with eachother and Kaya stood infront of him and then K looked at Sherrin and Nataliya who are unknown for him
"What are you wearing? Kaya?" K asked while directly looking at Kaya, Kaya was shocked "am I not looking good?" She thought
She was kinda afraid, "why he?!" Nataliya thought she was kinda angry, "what? Am I not looking good?" She asked hesitantly being afraid
"Yeah... Alan also once told me that I don't look good wearing this sort of dresses" she thought, Sherrin and Nataliya were also afraid of what might K say
K took a better look at her "that's not what I meant..." He said, his husky and deep voice lingered in her ears
And he came closer to her and he took off his jacket and put that jacket on Kaya "hmm..." Kaya was only confused so were Sherrin and Nataliya
"You know... The air is becoming colder and it's also quite cold at night and you're wearing this dress where your shoulder is revealed?" His warm and deep breath that Kaya can feel from that distance
"You might catch cold Kaya..." His voice lingered in Kaya's ears... And both Sherrin and Nataliya were watching the scene
Kaya blushes "okay..." He then looked at her eyes which were blushing and he smiled "you know if you had wear this clothes at the day time then I wouldn't have any problem but it's cold you know" he said
"Umm... I know" Kaya hesitantly said "so?... Even after knowing that it's cold at night why did you wear this?" He asked and he placed his right hand on her cheeks
"Your hands are cold" Kaya said, he smiled "it's because of you... Anyway answer my question first" his eyes were only focused on her blushing face
"I dressed like this because of you..." Kaya said, both Sherrin and Nataliya were afraid what might she say next
"Why kaya? Don't reveal our plan" Nataliya thought, "you know I have no taste for dressing and if I wear something shabby then it might be embarassing for you" Kaya explained
Both Sherrin and Nataliya took a sigh, they were relieved that she didn't revealed their plan
"Is that so?" He asked, his hand was still rubbing her cheeks "yeah..." She muttered, her low and hesitantly trembling voice reached his ears
"I don't care how you look... The only thing I care is that you are Kaya" he said and he smiled, Kaya looked at his face with confusion
Both Sherrin and Nataliya didn't even knew how to react, then his cold hands which were on her cheeks slides down to her hand that were hardly revealed because she was wearing his jacket
"Let's go..." He said, and he was looking at her hands only "okay" and she looked back and waved her right hand to Sherrin and Nataliya
They were too stunned to speak anything, then both K and Kaya entered the black car of his
And they left, Nataliya and Sherrin were shocked then they both looked at eachother "she had a far more better option than that jerk Alan" Nataliya hissed
"Yeah" Sherrin was angry too, "I mean how no one can fall in love with a guy who talks like that" Sherrin exclaimed,
"Yeah... He was so sweet" Nataliya replied, "now we have to change our plan" Nataliya said, "yeah"
"Now the plan is to make Kaya falls in love with him through that fake dating" both Nataliya and Sherrin said to eachother
FEW MINUTES LATER
K was driving the car carefully and Kaya was looking outside the window, she was lost in thought
"I never heard those sweet words from Alan tho, he never even complimented me" Kaya thought
"Hey!... Those two girls, are they the friends you were talking about?" K asked, Kaya looked at him
"Yeah..." She replied, K smiled "okay..."
"By the way, in which club are we going to?" Kaya asked, K looked at her for seconds
"We're going to my friend's club" he replied, "oh! Is that so?" She asked, "yeah"
"Then is that means there will be your friends too?" She asked, K parked outside a club 'club-royal'
"Yeah... There will be my friends and look we are here" he said and then looked at Kaya who was only looking at the club
"I have never been in a club tho" Kaya thought, then K got off from the car and opened the car's door for Kaya
"Hmm... Thanks"
Kaya got off from the car too "let's go" K said, and both of them entered the club, K was looking around the club like he was looking for someone
Kaya was only looking at the club filled with unknown faces and the big disco light and on a top two person incharged of the dj a man and a woman
The loud sound of dj were filling the whole club, "hey!..." K called, he was walking infront of her so she could only saw his back "don't get lost"
"Hmm..." She then looked lower at the floor, then suddenly he grabbed her left hand by his right hand and took her towards a counter, where the drinks were getting ready
Two unknown men standing there, "found them" Kaya was shocked by K's sudden action, his warmness that she could feel right now
"Hey!..." K called loudly, those unknown men looked at them, "K..." One guy from them wearing a black jacket muttered in his low husky voice
Lower he was wearing a black cargo pants, and the zipper of the jacket was opened under that he was wearing a black tshirt, a guy with two cold eyes he was, his hair was messy
"Who is that woman with him?" The other guy from them whispered, wearing a white highneck under a white jacket and lower a white cargo pants
He looked friendly than the other guy, his eyes were only focused on K and Kaya, a guy with mullet hairstyle
"Are they your friends?" Kaya asked, K looked at her and nodded as yes, and he went closer to the counter facing those two guys
And his hand was still holding Kaya's hand, and both of the guy looked at their hands, and then looked at their faces
"How you two are doing?" K asked, Kaya was only looking at them. "We are doing fine but what about you? It's been a while since you came here..." The guy wearing all white asked in a friendly manner
"Yeah... It's been a while since I came here because I was busy decorating my restaurant" K explained
"Hmm... But I'm curious" the guy wearing the black jacket said while looking towards Kaya, "about what?" K asked
Then suddenly a woman came and grabbed K's left arm "hey!... K it's been a month since I saw you" that woman exclaimed, K was startled
That woman was wearing a red colour off-the-shoulder top, and black baggy jeans, and her hair was quite long to reach her waist
And fair skin shining in the disco lights, "isn't that the same top as me?" Kaya thought, that woman was getting closer to K
"I guess he lied to me about not having a girlfriend, that woman looks like his girlfriend, oh! My plan is ruined" Kaya thought, her eyes were only focused on that woman
Then that woman noticed Kaya "Hey K!" That woman called him, he looked at her, her hands were still grabbing him by his left arm
"Is she your girlfriend?" She asked, there were some curiosity in her voice, "oh!... So she isn't his girlfriend then why is she holding him? Huh?!" Kaya thought,
She was kinda unhappy by the thing that woman was grabbing K's arm "he is my childhood friend but still I didn't hugged him yesterday even though we met after 14 years" Kaya thought
"Oh!... I'm..." Before she could finish her sentence, K spoke "No!... She is my childhood friend" his voice lingered in Kaya's ears
"Oh!... So... K's childhood friend" that woman's voice reached Kaya's ears
"Her name is Kaya..." K said to that woman
"Oh!... Ok... So... Kaya I'm taking your childhood friend, okay?" She claimed, Kaya was surprised and so is K
"What?!!... But she will be alone here!!" K exclaimed, "hmm?... Oh! K, there are Rehan and Youjin, they will take care of her, so... Just come with me" That woman said,
"What?!!..." K exclaimed, then that woman started to take him with her, then K looked at those two guys from earlier
"Hey!... Rehan and Youjin, please take care of her" K shouted, those two guys looked at him and waved their hand
"I hate that woman" Kaya thought, she looked angry, then the guy who was wearing all white looked at Kaya "hey!... Kaya" he took her name
Kaya looked at him, "hello" she greeted him, "my name is Rehan and he is Youjin" that guy name Rehan introduced him and the guy next to him
"Oh!... It's nice to meet you two" Kaya said, Rehan smiled "So... You're K's childhood friend huh?"
"Yeah..." She replied, "I actually heard about you many times" Rehan claimed, Kaya was confused, the guy name Youjin was only staring at Kaya
"Hmm?... How?" Kaya asked, Rehan smiled "from K, he used to talk alot about you" Rehan said
Kaya was actually surprised to hear that "he used to talk about me?" She thought, "is that so?" Kaya asked
"Yeah... It's true" Rehan said
"Hey!... I'm curious" Youjin spoke, Kaya and Rehan looked at him being surprised "about what?" Rehan asked
"Why you were holding K's hands? Are you two dating already?" Youjin asked, Kaya and Rehan was kinda shocked to hear that
"No!... I'm not dating him" Kaya exclaimed, Rehan was only looking at those two, Youjin didn't react that much
"Then why you two were holding hands?" He asked, Rehan was only listening "he was holding my hand so that I won't get lost" Kaya explained, she was flustered
"Yeah... That's the reason" Kaya thought, Youjin was only looking at her and so is she and Rehan was stucked between their gaze
"Hey!... Youjin that's not a serious matter so just chill" Rehan said, Kaya then ignore the gaze of Youjin
But Youjin was still looking at Kaya "yeah!... You're right Rehan" Youjin muttered, Kaya was looking around the club
Youjin looked at her face that was amazed by the club "hey!... It's nice to meet you... Kaya..." Youjin greeted her properly, his voice softened as he took her name
Kaya looked at him with her face, the club's disco lights were falling on her whole body, a beautiful figure she was looking at that time
Youjin was only looking at her, and he smiled "Yeah... It's nice to meet you too" Kaya greeted with a smile
Rehan smiled, "you know... We both know K from school days" Rehan explained, Kaya was kinda surprised
"Oh... Is that so?" Kaya asked, Rehan nodded as yes, "so... They are friends since school days huh?!" Kaya thought
Youjin was only looking at Kaya with his soft gaze, "by the way... May I know who was that woman who took K with her?" Kaya asked, she was kinda curious
"Oh!... She has been our friend since college and she kinda has a crush on K..." Rehan explained, Youjin was still looking at Kaya
"Oh!... Is that so..." Kaya muttered, she then looked at K who was far away from her,
"So... There is a woman who like him huh?! And looks like he likes her too that's why he went with her tho" Kaya was thinking about all this in her mind,
She was kinda unhappy, this thing was making her anxious she then looked at Rehan and Youjin
K was looking at Kaya from far away, he was lost in his own thoughts and in her "Sometimes I wonder... Why there is always a distance between us?" K thought
"Hey!... K!" The woman who took K with her called him, K got distracted and he looked at her, "yeah say..."
The woman offered him a drink "here drink this"
K looked at the glass of alcohol
"Oh!... Lana... I actually don't drink" K muttered and then he again started to look at Kaya
"Hey!... You should start drinking you know... You're an adult so... You should live you life like that" that woman named Lana said
But K didn't say a word, he was just focused on Kaya and on her expressions, where she was talking with Rehan and Youjin
And then the face of her smiling and laughing, which brought a smile on K's face too
And Lana was only watching him smiling
"Eventhough she is smiling..." He thought
"Still it hurts..."
