One day, in the far future, House May was going to be a Great House. I'd promised as much to the previous owners of the House themselves. As a Great House, we'd, naturally, have a lot of money. Far more than I would ever have as a 5-Star Adventurer
When that day came, and I was flush with more cash than I'd ever had in my lives, I knew there was one thing that I'd have to do:
Give Laurence money. However much he wanted. No amount was too high for that great man.
You see, when I'd left the bathing chamber, he'd left a jug of water out for me, likely anticipating the five-hour "competition" Isobel and Savrah put me through. I'd assumed that water was just that–water–, but nope! Turns out, it was a stamina potion. One swig and I was back to full energy!
That man deserved the world. You know who else deserved the world?
