Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Everyone Gathered, Chaos Became

Fifth Avenue is a bustling thoroughfare in Manhattan, New York.

At night, the street is brightly lit and thronged with people enjoying the city's vibrant nightlife.

But tonight, what was once a peaceful scene has turned into a sea of fire—thanks to the brutal clash between the Hulk and the Abomination.

Overturned cars litter both sides of the street, alongside the bodies of innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire.

The entire scene resembles hell on earth—tragic and terrifying.

"HULK!!!"

Dr. Banner, now transformed into the Hulk, let out a thunderous roar as he took in the devastation.

Though he appeared as a green-skinned monster in the eyes of the public, he had always held to one unshakable rule: never harm innocent civilians, and never attack those who meant him no ill will.

But the foe standing before him now had no such scruples. The Abomination would do anything—use any method, sacrifice any life—if it meant victory.

The heavy casualties littering Fifth Avenue were all his doing.

"Already angry? This is just the beginning," the Abomination sneered, unfazed by the Hulk's fury.

Without hesitation, he seized a nearby car and hurled it violently at the Hulk.

Inside the vehicle, a family of four screamed in terror.

To the Abomination, human life meant nothing. If the car struck its target, it wouldn't just injure the Hulk—it would almost certainly kill the family inside.

But the Hulk refused to let that happen. Instead of smashing the car away with his usual brute force, he caught it midair, straining to protect the terrified passengers.

Just as he secured the vehicle, however, the Abomination charged.

A fist the size of a sandbag slammed into the Hulk's chest with devastating force.

The impact sent him flying backward dozens of meters, plowing through a line of cars before crashing to a stop.

"You want to play hero and save them? Not on my watch! I'll see every one of these worthless creatures dead!" the Abomination roared.

He snatched the car again and hurled it skyward, determined to finish what he'd started.

But in that instant, a black-clad figure dropped from above.

A strand of spider-silk shot from her wrist, weaving instantly into a wide net that caught the car mid-fall and held it steady.

It was Gwen—now transformed into Spider-Woman.

"Another pest looking for death?" the Abomination scoffed, his eyes brimming with contempt.

This was Emil Blonsky—the same arrogant soldier who'd dared challenge Banner in his human form. Now, as the towering Abomination, he saw no reason to fear a lone spider-themed vigilante.

He reached for another car, ready to crush her with it.

But before he could throw it, a furious roar echoed through the street.

The Hulk came crashing down like a green comet, delivering a flying kick that sent the Abomination hurtling backward.

He flew dozens of meters like a ragdoll and smashed into the side of a building, blasting a massive hole through brick and steel.

But Hulk's attack didn't stop there—he leaped forward and landed directly in front of the Abomination.

His massive fists rained down on the creature's hateful face, as if trying to send him straight to hell.

Yet the Abomination was no pushover. After taking a few heavy blows, he quickly seized an opening to fight back.

With a swift motion, he raised his foot and kicked Hulk off him.

He rolled to his feet, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with a scowl, and glared at Hulk with undisguised contempt.

"Is that all?" he sneered. "Is this really all you're capable of? Hulk, you disappoint me!"

Without another word, he charged at Hulk again.

In an instant, the two titans clashed like raging beasts, their blows so evenly matched that neither gained the upper hand.

Watching from the sidelines, Gwen chose not to intervene.

Instead, she focused on rescuing the civilians nearby—saving lives was her top priority.

Meanwhile, General Ross cradled his daughter's lifeless body, his eyes burning with unimaginable fury.

Just moments earlier, a shard of shrapnel from the exploding helicopter—smashed apart by Hulk—had pierced her heart. She was gone.

Though Hulk hadn't intended to cause the explosion, the tragedy was undeniably his doing.

And to Ross, that was more than enough reason to hold him responsible.

"Hulk… I'm going to kill you!!" Ross roared, his eyes bloodshot and his mind consumed by rage.

He gently laid his daughter down, scrambled onto a nearby armored vehicle, and seized control of the mounted heavy machine gun.

A torrent of bullets erupted toward Hulk like a storm of steel.

The barrage caught Hulk off guard. Though the rounds couldn't pierce his skin, they still inflicted searing pain.

He bellowed in fury and raised his arms to shield himself—leaving him vulnerable.

Seizing the moment, the Abomination ripped a fire hydrant from the street and swung it with brutal force into Hulk's face.

The impact was deafening. The hydrant crumpled on contact, and even Hulk reeled—dazed and sent sprawling backward, unable to rise immediately.

"Hahaha! Good job, old man Ross—you're quite the helper!" the Abomination taunted. "I'll avenge your daughter… right after I send you to hell myself!"

He hurled the twisted hydrant toward Ross, who froze in horror, instinctively trying to dodge—

—but before it could strike, a blinding palm cannon blast shot through the air, knocking the hydrant aside.

From the sky, a sleek red-and-gold armored figure descended in a controlled drop, landing firmly in front of General Ross.

At the same time, another figure leaped from an armed helicopter overhead and landed steadily before the Abomination.

He wore a form-fitting suit of red, white, and blue, emblazoned with a star-spangled emblem—its fabric hugging the powerful contours of his physique.

There was no mistaking that silhouette.

It was Captain America—America's First Avenger, and, as some might say, the proud owner of the nation's most iconic backside.
