Cell's pupils shrank sharply. He looked down and saw Gohan bent forward, his fist buried deep in Cell's abdomen.
The scene looked eerily familiar—just like in the anime, where young Gohan struck Cell so hard that Android 18 was forced out of his body.

"Why have your powers become this terrifying?!"
Blood vessels bulged in Cell's eyes.

An unbearable agony exploded through his stomach, spreading through every nerve and into each of his cells.
Cell dropped to his knees inside the crater, clutching his abdomen as his whole body trembled violently.
"When Trunks and I kept attacking you earlier, I already noticed something strange about your body."
"You were injured that badly, yet you could still speak as if nothing was wrong. That alone proved you weren't normal."
Gohan straightened up and stepped back two paces.
"But what of it?"
"Weakness is the original sin."
"Back then, Trunks and I were weaker than Android 17 and Android 18. That's why we suffered all those years of despair."
"The gap between us now is far too great. Your regeneration means nothing to me."
"So be smart and tell us where Android 17 and Android 18 are."
Cell remained kneeling, clutching his stomach. His eyes nearly bulged from their sockets, and nauseating dry-heaving sounds kept escaping his throat.
Trunks leapt down from the crater's edge and raised a hand, gathering an energy sphere.
"Enough acting. We beat you for that long and you still didn't die. What are you pretending for now?"
"Wait."
Gohan pressed Trunks's arm down.
"Gohan, what is it?"
"Something's wrong with him."
At once, the energy sphere in Trunks's palm dispersed.
The two silently watched Cell.
And just as Gohan said—something was very wrong.
Cold sweat poured from Cell's body. His retching grew faster and more violent.

Cell's swollen neck convulsed as streams of disgusting fluid poured from his mouth.
"Gohan… is he trying to throw something up?" Trunks frowned.
"Looks like it."
Then Cell could no longer endure it.
"BLLARGH!"
He violently spat out a woman.
It was Android 18.
"What?!"
Trunks's breathing hitched.
He never imagined Cell had literally swallowed her.
"Then that means…"
Gohan reacted instantly, eyes locking onto Cell's stomach.
"The other one—Android 17 must still be inside him!"
He and Trunks looked at each other.
Both saw the same fierce excitement in the other's eyes.
"Gohan!"
"Our enemy is finally here."
"Let me punch the other one out!"
Enemies meeting again only deepened old hatred.
Trunks twisted his body and vanished from sight.
Kneeling on the ground, Cell had already reverted from Perfect Form to his Second Form after expelling Android 18.
But the pain from Gohan's previous strike had begun to fade.
"You bastards!!!"
Cell had just raised his head—
When another heavy punch crashed into him.
Its speed was still like lightning.
He couldn't react at all.

He wanted Cell dead first.
His energy blast fired straight at him.
Back in his original form, Cell was still writhing from Trunks's punch.
He couldn't dodge.
"N-No!!"
BOOM!
Cell was completely swallowed by the blast.
The explosion lit up the battlefield, flames reflecting across the faces of the four fighters.
Still not looking at Gohan or Trunks, Android 17 spoke to his sister.
"So that was the monster Dr. Gero was making in the underground lab."
"Yeah."
"The feeling of being absorbed by that thing was disgusting."
"You did good, Android 17. Monsters like that belong in hell."
Android 18 spat to the side, then reformed another energy sphere in her hand and aimed it at Gohan and Trunks.
"Now talk."
"Who was that Saiyan from before?"
"Why wasn't he in Dr. Gero's database?"
That man's power had been too terrifying.
Just the shockwave of his aura had sent her and Android 17 flying thousands of miles away.
If they didn't learn who he was—and eliminate him—
They would never know peace.
Android 17 also scanned the surroundings warily, afraid Gran might be nearby.
He searched several times—
Yet never thought to look upward.

Gran was hovering high above, watching.
"You won't talk?"
Android 18 canceled the energy sphere and smirked as she stepped toward Gohan.
"Looks like that Saiyan isn't here."
"Then I'll torture the answer out of you."
Android 17 moved as well.
Hands in his pockets, he strolled forward with a wicked smile.
