Chapter 377 - Chapter 377: Planet Sadala

"I understand."

Within Universe Six's God of Destruction Realm, Gran stood beside the lake and smiled at everyone.

Being trusted by others felt surprisingly good.

Then he asked,

"Vados, I have a question."

"What is it?"

More than half a year ago, Vados and Whis had visited the Omni-King's Palace. She had long since returned, but she had no intention of mentioning that matter.

"Given the power of Angels, are you capable of handling such an enormous tournament all at once?"

At last, Gran voiced the doubt that had been lingering in his heart.

The moment those words left his mouth, everyone turned toward Vados.

"..."

Vados fell silent.

Seeing this, Champa frowned.

"Why aren't you saying anything?"

"Do all of you have some kind of misunderstanding about Angelic power?"

Vados looked at Gran with an odd expression.

"Of course not."

Gran shook his head.

"My raw power has already reached the Angel Realm. I know very well how terrifying that level of strength is—"

Before he could finish, Vados interrupted him.

"No. That's not what I'm referring to."

She shook her head lightly.

"I'm not talking about raw power. I'm talking about the power of Angels themselves."

Gran, Champa, and Fuwa all looked puzzled.

Vados raised her staff and said calmly:

"Let me put it this way. If a God of Destruction governs destruction within a universe, then an Angel governs everything within that universe."

"The destructive authority of the Gods of Destruction, the creative authority of the Supreme Kais, the power over time possessed by the Supreme Kai of Time, even the miracles of the Dragon Realm..."

"We Angels can use all of them."

The moment those words were spoken...

A tidal wave of shock erupted within Champa and the others.

Especially Gran.

For a long time, he had felt that Angels seemed capable of doing almost anything.

Now that Vados had openly confirmed it, he finally understood.

They truly were omnipotent beings.

"Then, Vados, can you—"

"Enough nonsense. Of course I can."

Vados once again looked at Gran as though he had asked an incredibly foolish question.

"That's fantastic!"

Gran finally breathed a sigh of relief.

That meant there was no need for him to search for the Dragon Balls.

Yet at the same time, his understanding of Angelic power became even more uncertain.

Back when Vados and Whis fought in the World of Void, Kusu had shown him a replay of the entire battle.

Now that Gran's own raw power had reached the Angel Realm, looking back on that fight, he had always felt that the only differences between himself and Whis were raw strength and martial arts mastery.

But after hearing Vados' explanation just now...

He suddenly felt that the depth of Angelic power was far beyond his imagination.

"Little one, what are you thinking about?"

Vados smiled.

Gran answered honestly.

"I'm thinking about your battle with Whis back then. You never used any of the abilities you just described, so it gave me the wrong impression of how powerful Angels really are."

"Oh ho ho~"

Vados covered her mouth and laughed softly.

"Are you a little silly?"

"Whis isn't my mortal enemy. He's my younger brother."

"Why would I use those kinds of powers against him?"

"That's true."

Gran laughed awkwardly.

"All right, I know what you're wondering."

Vados gazed across the lake.

"Your strongest state has already reached the Angel Realm in terms of power."

"But if you want to become like us Angels, the first step is to raise your dimensional level to the Angel Realm."

Gran's eyes narrowed slightly.

According to Vados, was reaching the Angel Realm Dimension the prerequisite for wielding all those powers?

Though curious, he chose not to ask further.

His current training plan was already clear:

First, master the Rule of Destruction and the Rule of Space-Time.

Only afterward would he focus on cultivating an Angel Realm state of mind.

There was no need to rush.

One step at a time.

When he eventually reached the level Vados spoke of, the answers would naturally reveal themselves.

"Lord Champa, I've already finished arranging matters in Universe Seven regarding the tournament."

Gran smiled.

"Now it's time for me to handle things on Universe Six's side."

"Good."

Champa nodded.

"Go ahead and do whatever you need to do."

Gran waved goodbye to the three of them before using Instant Transmission to leave.

The lakeside became quiet once more.

Only Champa, Vados, and Fuwa remained.

The three exchanged glances, their faces filled with anticipation for the future.

"Lord Champa, having Gran on our side truly is a blessing."

Fuwa chuckled.

"Isn't that obvious?"

Champa rolled his eyes.

With his hands behind his back, he gazed up at the stars.

"Back then, Vados and I even fought someone in order to steal that little brat."

Fuwa already knew that story.

If he had heard it before meeting Gran, he probably would have scolded Champa for being childish.

But after meeting Gran...

His only regret was that Champa hadn't succeeded in stealing him.

"Get moving."

Champa waved dismissively.

"The thing Gran is about to do will probably require your assistance."

"Keep an eye on him and help whenever necessary."

"Yes, Lord Champa."

Fuwa nodded respectfully before returning to the Supreme Kai Realm.

Soon, only Champa and Vados remained.

Silence once again settled over the lake.

"Vados."

Champa suddenly spoke.

"Where did you go some time ago?"

"Nowhere in particular."

Vados naturally knew he was referring to her trip to the Omni-King's Palace.

"Hmph."

Champa snorted.

"You really think I'm an idiot? You're definitely hiding something from me."

"Oh ho ho~"

Vados laughed.

"Lord Champa truly is clever. You even figured that out."

"Of course I'm clever. So hurry up and tell me."

"Yes, yes."

Vados smiled.

"I merely used some delicious food to tempt my elder sister."

"That's it?"

"That's it."

"Tch. You Angels are unbelievably boring."

Champa smacked his lips.

Then he turned around and headed toward the God of Destruction Palace.

He was returning to the Tower of Dimensions.

Hit and Rozie were still training their dimensions there, and he wanted to keep an eye on them.

Soon, Vados was left standing alone beside the lake.

She stared at the spot where Gran had disappeared.

After a long while, she let out a quiet sigh.

"The future may become rather troublesome..."

"So hurry and grow stronger."

After leaving the God of Destruction Realm, Gran arrived on a planet within Universe Six.

This planet was called Planet Sadala.

"So this is the homeland of the Saiyans?"

Gran walked down a street.

The level of technology wasn't particularly advanced.

Most of the buildings lining both sides of the road were wooden houses.

Yet at the far end of the street sat numerous spacecraft.

The contrast felt strangely out of place.

"Who is that?"

"He looks somewhat similar to a Saiyan."

"But he has a tail."

"We Saiyans don't have tails."

"..."

Many Saiyans from Universe Six passed by along the road.

They looked at Gran with obvious curiosity, wondering about the identity of this mysterious stranger.
