This left only one explanation....the Mangekyō Sharingan of the Uchiha clan truly possessed the power of spiritual reflection.
Now, with Arata's words added to the equation, the Third Hokage could not help but ponder further.
He took a long drag from his pipe, exhaled slowly, then said, "You should know that Jiraiya has been searching for you for a long time."
Arata froze for a moment, his face full of confusion. "Jiraiya-sama, one of the Legendary Sannin… is looking for me?"
Seeing his puzzled expression, the Third Hokage explained, "Over the past several years, Jiraiya has followed the guidance of the Great Toad Sage, traveling throughout the ninja world in search of the Child of Destiny.
He once believed that the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, was that person. But after Minato's death, it became clear he was not. Now, it seems that you are the most likely candidate."
Arata slapped his forehead, momentarily speechless. Realizing the misunderstanding, he quickly explained, "I'm not the Child of Destiny. I only happened to know certain things. Let Jiraiya continue his search."
The Third Hokage looked at him skeptically, but set the topic aside for now and returned to the matter of recalling Tsunade.
"I believe I've told you before....Tsunade suffers from hemophobia. Even if she returns, her assistance may be limited," the Third Hokage said.
More than anything, he feared that Arata might harbor ill intentions toward Tsunade.
Before he could continue, Arata opened his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, stared directly into the Third Hokage's eyes, and said with a faint smile, "That's fine.
No matter how severe the psychological trauma, it cannot trouble the Mangekyō Sharingan. I will cure Tsunade's hemophobia first, then have her assist me. All you need to do is write another recall letter."
Seeing that refusal was impossible, the Third Hokage sighed softly, set down his pipe, picked up an official scroll, and began writing as he asked, "Arata, are you planning to go alone this time? Do you already have a destination in mind?"
Arata shook his head. "I'll go alone. Too many people would only cause trouble, and I wouldn't be able to act freely."
The Third Hokage nodded silently. Indeed, with Arata's current strength, unless facing an SS-rank mission, he had no need for teammates.
Once the recall letter was completed, the Third Hokage sealed it and handed it to Arata, casually asking, "When do you plan to depart?"
Arata slipped the letter into his ninja pouch. This was merely an excuse—its importance was secondary.
"The day after tomorrow," he replied. "After I finish handling a few matters, I'll set off to bring Tsunade back."
With his goal achieved, Arata greeted the Third Hokage, turned around, and left.
These two days were especially busy for Arata. Of course, the most important matter was his engagement with little Hinata.
A treasure like her had to be secured early....raised carefully, cherished deeply.
Before departing to find Tsunade, Arata planned to visit the Hyūga clan once more, both to confirm the engagement and to prevent unnecessary complications.
It had been some time since his last visit. He wondered whether Hiashi and his wife had already reached a decision.
Taking advantage of the excuse that he was preparing for an important mission, he could conveniently inquire about the progress.
After leaving the Hokage Building, Arata headed straight for the Hyūga clan.
To his surprise, the guards at the entrance led him directly into Hiashi's living hall.
Not long after, Hiashi entered, accompanied by a graceful woman in her twenties, dressed in a kimono, and between them stood a small, delicate Hinata, also clad in a kimono.
Unlike their previous meeting, Hinata's face instantly turned crimson upon seeing Arata. Especially when she noticed his gaze, her nervousness intensified...it was clear she already knew that the man before her was her future fiancé.
Understanding her shy nature, Arata quickly averted his eyes and shifted his attention toward the woman beside Hiashi.
Without doubt, this elegant lady was Hinata and Hanabi's mother.
As Hiashi and his wife entered, Arata stood up respectfully and bowed. "Good day."
Although he now held the position of deputy clan head of the Uchiha and technically stood on equal footing with Hiashi, he was still of the younger generation, especially considering his engagement to Hiashi's daughter.
Seeing his courtesy, both Hiashi and his wife smiled warmly....their expressions growing even brighter than before.
