Chapter 31 - Before Victory

Behind him, Xuka Astri was relentlessly pursuing. Her sharp, wind-bladed swords tore through chunks of flesh, slowly severing the monster's spiky legs. She was trying to wear it down and slow it down. But it wasn't enough! The monster was accumulating destructive energy too quickly; it was about to explode before Shizuka could even shred it.

Hegemon was only a few meters away from death. The heat from the Mana bomb blasted against the back of his neck. In this critical moment, Hegemon knew he couldn't run on human strength anymore. He had to gamble.

He remembered he still had an ultimate skill he'd acquired from previous loops. Although his current Mana was incredibly scarce, and he wasn't sure if it would last, he had to activate it.

Speaking of the Five-Dimensional skill, it truly created a dimension that encompassed the entire reality layer. In that dimension, Hegemon was the supreme and most important being- everything within it was under his complete control, and every enemy attack was forced to be directed at him, unable to harm anyone else.

However, this absolute control skill had a fatal limitation: it depended entirely on the user's Mana. To use it to kill or completely erase someone from reality, Hegemon needed an infinite amount of Mana. He himself currently possessed only a finite, even extremely small, amount of Mana.

"Open for me!!! The Fifth Dimension!!!" Hegemon roared, his two fingers clenching, concentrating all the Mana in his body into a single point.

BOOM!!!

An invisible, glass-like shockwave suddenly erupted from Hegemon's body, expanding outwards and engulfing both him and the suicide monster into an independent space. Here, the laws of physics and time in the real world seemed to warp.

Hegemon didn't have enough Mana to obliterate the monster, but his meager Mana was just enough to do one thing: "create an untouchable dimension for 10 minutes."

Inside this five-dimensional protective shield, even if the suicide monster roared or exploded, its destructive energy could only collide with the invisible spatial wall surrounding Hegemon, unable to leak even a tiny bit into the outside world. These 10 minutes were more than enough to buy time, enough for Lily's car to reach a safe distance, and enough for Xuka Astri in the outside world to find a way to finish off this entity.

Hegemon stood firm in his own dimension, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth due to Mana depletion, but his eyes blazed as he watched the monster frantically charging into an invisible wall right in front of him. This time, he had the cards in his hand.
