Meanwhile, Edith was still watching cartoons with her twins in her apartment. Actually, Edith was starting to worry about Callum to the point where she couldn't focus on the show. Every time her twins commented on something, she would just stay silent and stare at her phone screen, which hadn't received any notifications from her ex-boyfriend. Usually, Callum would always tell her what was going on, but now he was still silent even though two hours had passed. She hoped nothing had happened to Callum during their lunch with his stepfamily.
"Mom, will Dad be okay?" Erdin asked softly.
Edith smiled softly, stroking her son's soft cheek. "Of course. Your father was a very strong man who faced any challenge."
"But, actually, daddy once acted desperate when he was oppressed by the witch family."
