At District 5 of Pegasus City.
"What is going on here?"
Ron, who was sitting dazedly inside the coffee shop, was startled by a voice from afar. He turned around and saw Lunas, who was breaking a sweat and walking over.
Lunas approached from the other side of the street and stood right next to Ron. He said nothing more, only quietly observing Ron and the surrounding scenery.
Ten seconds staring at Ron, ten seconds staring at this dilapidated coffee shop.
"...I thought you would choose a place that is at least decent to meet up?
Why choose a broken place like this."
Lunas sat down on the shattered tiled floor, but his eyes were directed toward the coffee shop signboard.
"...Hey Ron, do you think they have strong coffee in here?"
Lunas gradually felt an itch across his body. His eyes drooped slightly, showing a sign of giving up. Ron only indifferently nodded and scratched his neck.
He walked to the coffee shop door, opened it like a customer, and went inside along with Ron.
"Hah, there are coffee beans. Sure enough, Ron, you still have some humanity left."
Lunas casually carried the paper bag containing coffee beans to the espresso machine. He acted completely natural, as if he were performing a familiar daily routine.

While waiting for the cup of coffee to finish brewing, Ron and Lunas finally had the opportunity to sit down and rest.
"...So, is there any way out of here? I am completely exhausted..."
"Since when did you become this lazy? I only asked you to work for one night, and you used the entire month before that to go slacking off?"
Ron casually exposed Lunas's shortcomings, showing no regard for his subordinate and disciple.
"...Since when did you have this way of talking? I still remember just a few months ago, you still called me older brother?"
Hearing that, Ron glared at Lunas. He could not understand how this fellow could utter such words.
"You can actually blurt out a sentence like that? Then who paid for the items bought for Emma? Who covered the money for weapons? Was the compensation money every time you messed up paid by you?"
Lunas felt his tongue tied upon hearing those words. This brother from the same orphanage had lost his authority long ago.
Lunas could only avoid eye contact. He glanced into the distance, waiting for the signaling sound of the coffee machine.
But Ron did not pay much attention.
"How is Janeus doing?"
Ron opened by mentioning Lunas's mission. Lunas pondered for a long while before speaking.
"She... well, it seems she recognized me, so she shook me off."
Ron knitted his brows. He let out a sigh and took out a cigarette from his coat pocket.
"Then what happened?"
Lunas looked at Ron's cigarette. He recalled the image of Janeus leaving.
"It was not that difficult either. She headed toward the South, near the place of the train you took to come here.
Not sure why she altered her direction from heading toward the center, however she moved throughout the entire night last night and is currently resting in the District 7 area."
Lunas bolted up. He walked toward the coffee machine to grab his cup. Lunas was not an ungrateful person either, as he also knew to place a few coins on the table as payment.
"Alright then, perhaps there is no need to tail her anymore."
Ron replied in an indifferent, weary manner. He brought the cigarette to his mouth and searched for a lighter in his pocket.
"Temporarily just leave Janeus there. She is probably not foolish enough to die.
Instead, I saw a group gathering at the police station in the West, so I will go inspect that place.
Lunas, go to the private hospital nearby to rest. There are three people inside the hospital, remember to watch over them, that is all."
Saying that, Ron lit the cigarette with a lighter. He exhaled a plume of white smoke right into Lunas's face.
"Ah, one more thing, remember not to report this matter to old man Haller."
