In the training ground, Bei Bei who was punished, was training as instructed.
Looking at the giant lightning wheel that was constantly being solidified and also sharpened, Tianmeng was silent.
Not because of anything else, but because he realised that Yuhao's luck as always is a bit too awesome, this guy Bei Bei's comprehension ability was super high.
Although not as ridiculous as Yuhao, this kid's learning and creativity seemed to have been unleashed when he let go of the traditional Shrek and became Yuhao's subordinate.
So, looking at Bei Bei who was throwing a lightning wheel at targets and still looked unsatisfied, although not what Bei Bei apparantly had in mind, it worked.
So, He condensed the spinning blade in his hand and rushed at the target, slashing it and it ripped apart.
"...Not sharp enough...." Bei Bei's muttered words made Tianmeng even more speechless and decided to just ignore this guy.
The thing about Bei Bei is, he's a descendant of Shrek and a direct successor...but, to Bei Bei, the current Shrek after spending some time with Yuhao, seems to have become....not what it appeared on the surface.
It spoke of neutrality, yet judged criminals on it's own terms, it interfered in the politics of other nations, it spoke of justice but...is Shrek justice itself? No!
So, Bei Bei who saw the rotting tree that was Shrek.... decided to either conquer it himself afterwards and help Boss in his path...or if it went against the Boss, he'd help destroy Shrek.
Now, one would be shocked to heaven and hell if this was from other Worlds, but, this is Douluo, the World where family affection and stuff can be thrown aside for friends or lovers.
So, for this move, I'd like to say: As expected of Douluo!
Anyways, back to topic, after meeting all the Spirit Beasts under Yuhao, Bei Bei gained a very urgent drive for power, looking at the Beasts who were very creative in their moves, Bei Bei had an idea....to not care about traditional moves.
That idea was solidified after Yuhao, once shot ice covered in darkness into the ground and it became stealth tracking missiles that exploded on command.
He asked Yuhao who basically told Bei Bei, he threw in a small amount of Ultimate fire(Courtesy of Yin Yang land) that was sealed in a thin layer of Spirit Power and well...it basically results in explosion and Yuhao even made the outer shell of Ice harder.
According to Yuhao, he called it a Grenade knockoff.
Although Bei Bei guessed it was a bomb based ability...the thing is, that thing's damage is too high! He was definitely sure it could insta kill a Soul Emperor and that was being reserved!
So, Bei Bei threw away the traditional thoughts of following a set path or the mentality of that can't be done, resulting in such a powerful skill.
Yuhao who was also making up ideas using knowledge from the Slide, was a bit silent of seeing Bei Bei's moves, he was walking with Ma Hongjun around this area where it was only humans around so Ma Hongjun won't get suspicious and then saw Bei Bei training.
"….That child.." Ma Hongjun began, "Bei Bei, a former direct descendant of Shrek who joined me. Also the one who found you." Yuhao replied.
Ma Hongjun remained silent as if considering something but stopped and sighed, seemingly deciding not to ask.
'..Even Grandmaster's descendants have left Shrek….'
By complete accident, Yuhao had made Ma Hongjun waver once again!
Letting Tianmeng accompany Ma Hongjun to go do whatever he wanted, Yuhao approached Bei Bei.
"Boss!"
"So, Bei Bei, you developed a new move?" Yuhao asked Bei Bei, "Yes Boss! I don't understand why most people don't do this too, although a bit hard, I don't think it's too difficult to develop moves. Atleast they're multiple times better than most people's first two Soul Rings." Bei Bei said his opinion.
He felt that these self-created moves could improve with ones own level and it was definitely better than most people's first few Soul Rings, which is true. Because after all, the power of a person improves with Rank, if they kept improving, their moves would also improve but, the Soul Ring moves usually can't do that because although there's improvement, they don't know how to do it properly.
So, Bei Bei who began to tread the path of improving oneself and creativity discovered this point which only Titled Douluos usually realise (Xuan Zi is an exception, he's a useless fool)
"Because of traditional thinking and the fact that most powerhouses or people who realised this don't want others to realise this too early. And also because not everyone can be like you." Yuhao replied, "Bei Bei, you're talented, more than most, that's why you can do this relatively easily. Others even if they spent years may not make the progress you make in a few days....That is the disparity of talent."
Yuhao knew that, he was after all one of the only ones who could control talent thanks to his ability but, he also wasn't some great saint. All he could do was hope everyone had an equal chance to cultivate their talents and not suffer too much discrimination. His goal was just to give them opportunities, not coddle every single person and improve their talents.
He will improve his own friends and family's abilities but, he has no obligation to do that for strangers. It may be contradictory to his goals, maybe so, but he won't act like he's some saint, he'll be direct, he won't wear a mask. He'll do what he says and won't act opposite to his beliefs.
Anyways, looking at Bei Bei, Yuhao decided to say one more thing, "Although I said that, it is possible to innovate and create a technique that even common people could practice, although it may take generations upon generations." A lie, Yuhao as a cheat could probably do it if he's given a few years, well, he can't make Bei Bei's drive disappear, can he?
"Then, Bei Bei, keep practicing. I'll see you later." Yuhao said as he walked away, letting Bei Bei practice in peace as he went to the Immortal Herbs to... borrow something.
