Facing Arbok charging at it, Volcarona didn't dodge. Instead, even more terrifyingly hot flames erupted from its body as it rushed forward to meet the dragon head-on.

So, Arbok abandoned the rush. It whipped its long body around and coiled tightly around Volcarona.

As Arbok began to squeeze, Volcarona wasn't about to just sit there and die. It reignited its Flare Blitz, turning its body into a furnace.
It tried to use the intense heat and its own strength to break Arbok's grip.
But Arbok had lost its mind to Outrage. The searing pain from Volcarona's flames didn't make it flinch; instead, it only fueled its aggression.
In the next second, Arbok bit down hard. Poison Fang!!!
At this moment, the invulnerability effect of Edge of Night was still active.
Simultaneously, Arbok's body writhed violently. Scales shot off its skin, turning into sharp blades that stabbed into the Volcarona trapped in its coils.

Arbok hit the ground hard, smoke rising from its scorched body. The crimson light in its eyes had faded.
Although it hadn't completely lost consciousness, it was clear that in its current state, Arbok could no longer fight.
On the other side, Volcarona wasn't doing well either.
The spot where Arbok had bitten it was now a sickly purple color.
The toxins from Poison Fang had invaded its body.
