"About making an actual mess hall," said Susan.
"Huh?" said Kurt, The subject had never been brought up before, or at least that he remembered.
It was a normal morning for Kurt. As normal as a god who conquered all that was before him could be. Or so the legends probably said by now.
Susan had been one of the ones from the start, her husband Jerry had been their ride by happenstance. And well now she was the chef of a major operation.
She had help of course.
"You can't deny we grow a bit too big to keep doing it like this in the pillar."
"I'm not against it."
"You act like it's so simple."
"Isn't it now?"
"For you, so do it!"
"This is the first I'm hearing of it?"
"Lilly next brood, Carla's next brood."
"Is this really about a new mess hall?"
Susan gave Kurt a look, but there was something behind it. "You just had to make that temple right outside of my door! Can you move that?"
