"I trust the judgment of that esteemed individual, my apologies, compatriot." (The latter part in Aegir language)
After realizing Kanna was still unresponsive, Thorns visibly relaxed.
Kanna turned to Kal'tsit. "What was he mumbling about?"
"Nothing, just confirming a few things. It's clear you've passed his test." Kal'tsit waved her hand, and a person standing on top of the bridge twisted the ropes below. Warfarin, bundled up like a caterpillar, began to swing.
"Scout! Don't let me get a chance! I'll show you what real blood… Ah ah ah ah ah, I'm going to crash!" In Warfarin's scream, everyone noticed that the person on top was indeed Scout. (Monthly fee group 694.936135)
Kanna eyed the large swing and felt a bit eager to try it, but remembering the reason she came out, she suppressed that feeling.
She then recounted what happened in Rock Bay Town, which elicited gasps and exclamations from the crowd. When they heard about the Seaborn leading giant beasts to attack Rock Bay Town, Thorns, who was eavesdropping nearby, couldn't help but clench his fists.
Upon hearing that they successfully thwarted the enemy's plan, sent out intelligence from Rock Bay Town, and received news of reinforcements on the way, he couldn't help but feel relieved.
Although he completely disbelieved Kanna's subsequent story about her unleashing her divine power, super-fusing her Sharingan into a Mangekyo Sharingan, then first using Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds to penetrate the center of the monster, and then pointing a finger to the sky, summoning a magnificent divine lightning with Lightning Release: Kirin to scare away the giant beast, he still breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that Rock Bay Town successfully repelled the attack and suffered almost zero civilian casualties.
Finally, Kanna said, "After this battle, I realized there are still many gaps in my combat power that need to be filled. So, during this time, I've been racking my brain, thinking and thinking, and finally, I've developed a new technique. How should I put it, this technique doesn't significantly increase my individual combat power, but if I fight with everyone, the more people there are, the stronger its power becomes."
Kal'tsit, who was about to leave the deck and return to the Control Room to continue working, heard Kanna say she had a new technique that could provide powerful assistance to teammates, and she also stayed out of curiosity.
Under everyone's gaze, Kanna stood there, waved her hand, and shouted, "Unfettered Severance!"
As she waved her hand, a bolt of lightning streaked from her fingertips, forming the shape of an eye in front of Kanna under everyone's gaze, then exploded with a roar. Although the power was considerable, roughly equivalent to an Elite Operator's strike, compared to her other abilities, this was quite ordinary.
However, the moment the eye disappeared, everyone noticed a faint purple halo appearing behind the people around them, and at the very top of the halo was the "eye" that had just disappeared in front of Kanna.
After noticing that a purple "eye" had appeared above the heads of the people around them, everyone was a bit bewildered. The smart ones looked up and back to see if they had one above their own heads, and the result was that everyone had this "eye" symbol above their heads.
Seeing the bewildered expressions of everyone around, Kanna nodded proudly and then said,
"This is my new technique—the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye. Everyone on Rhodes Island, as long as they are not far from me, will gain this effect. The sign of gaining the effect is having a Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye symbol behind them."
Melantha, at Kanna's instruction, came before a target. She swung her sword at the target, and the moment she struck it, the eye behind her emitted a purple glow. A bolt of lightning, with power similar to Kanna's previous strike, appeared out of thin air and instantly blew the target apart.
Kanna then explained, "When a companion with the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye attacks, the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye behind them will assist in the attack on the target. The power is similar to my previous strike, and it should help everyone deal with most situations where firepower is insufficient during combat."
After hearing Kanna's explanation, everyone's eyes lit up. In combat, if two people of similar strength want to defeat each other, it can be very troublesome, requiring multiple exchanges and probes before they can seize various opportunities to defeat the opponent. But with this Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye above their heads, as long as they attack, a sudden bolt of lightning will appear out of thin air to supplement their damage, and this supplementary damage is much higher than their actual attack power.
This meant that everyone who followed Kanna on missions would have to exert less effort when facing combat, and could focus more attention on defense and evasion.
Even Kal'tsit nodded after seeing this effect. With this spell, Kanna could exert an even greater effect when performing assault missions.
"Cough cough! Don't be in a hurry! I haven't finished yet!" Seeing everyone start looking for targets to test the strength and frequency of the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye, Kanna shouted loudly, making everyone shift their attention back to her.
Everyone was a bit surprised. In their opinion, this was already a very perfect spell, but they didn't expect Kanna to say there were other uses.
"Popukar, come here for a moment!" Kanna waved her hand, calling out to Popukar, who was excitedly brandishing a large saw nearby, scaring away anyone who dared to stand close.
"Oh!" Popukar put down her large saw, then trotted over to Kanna's side.
Seeing Popukar walk up to her, she continued to speak to the people around her.
"The effect of my spell isn't that simple. Lightning, come!"
Kanna clenched her small hand, and the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye behind Popukar suddenly disappeared. In Kanna's hand, a seed-like object appeared. Sharp-eyed Operators noticed that the appearance of the seed and the symbol engraved on it were exactly the shape of the Thunder Punishment Evil Star Eye Kanna had described.
Popukar had been a little disappointed when she saw the strange "eye" above her head disappear, but Kanna handed her the small "eye" in her hand.
Holding the Electro Seed Kanna gave her, Popukar tilted her head, somewhat perplexed.
Kanna turned around and then pointed at Scout, who was squatting nearby watching the show, saying,
"Popukar, imagine Scout as an enemy, then just throw the thing in your hand, or you can activate it with a spell."
Scout had only come over to watch out of curiosity about the spell, not expecting Kanna to have Popukar target him.
He instinctively felt a sense of unease and immediately stood up and jumped backward.
Popukar, however, didn't think too much about it. When Kanna told her to throw it, she decisively threw the Electro Seed in her hand.
The Electro Seed suddenly exploded at its landing point the moment it hit the ground.
