Within the Final Valley, Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama stood face-to-face, the moonlight rippling across the shattered terrain between them.
"The barrier's been set up?"
Two figures appeared behind Boruto Uzumaki — Senju Tobirama and Minato Namikaze.
Minato nodded. "Yes. The barrier that blocks chakra perception is active."
Boruto gave a small nod. "Good. The fact that you two were revived with Edo Tensei can't be revealed to the Seventh Hokage or anyone else yet. It'd cause trouble."
At the same time, Madara stood silently, holding a green leaf in his hand, his expression unreadable.
"You've waited long enough, Madara!"
Hashirama pulled a massive scroll from his back, unsealed it, and drew out a giant sword, pointing it toward Madara.
"Let's begin!"
Madara's mouth twitched slightly at the sight.
Boruto smirked, then unsealed his own scroll. The Gunbai War Fan shimmered into existence.
With a casual flick, he tossed it through the air. Madara caught it smoothly, the weight and texture familiar in his grip.
Instantly, his Rinnegan gleamed with a deep light, and powerful chakra waves surged from his body.
Hashirama's own chakra flared in response. His sword hummed as he swung it once, the air slicing sharply.
"Hashirama!"
"Madara!"
Their voices echoed together as they launched forward.
In the blink of an eye, their figures collided and crossed — exchanging dozens of blows before their feet even touched the ground again.
The clash of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu sent shockwaves that shattered stone cliffs and churned the waters below, engulfing the entire valley in smoke and energy.
From afar, Boruto, Tobirama, and Minato watched silently.
"A fated confrontation…" Boruto murmured. "Even better when it's live."
Their battle shifted to the lake above the valley.
"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"
Madara formed rapid hand seals and unleashed a sea of blazing fire that tore through the night sky, rushing straight at Hashirama.
Hashirama narrowed his eyes and countered swiftly, one hand gripping his sword while the other formed seals.
"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"
The lake roared as countless towering trees erupted upward, their trunks thick and dense, shielding Hashirama from the inferno.
The flames roared, but the wood did not burn — instead, it grew stronger, alive with vibrant chakra.
Madara snorted. "Tch."
He pressed his hands together. "Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
The water rippled violently as a massive wooden dragon surged upward, roaring and lunging straight at Hashirama.
Tobirama clicked his tongue. "That bastard Madara's using Wood Release in front of my brother… he's just showing off."
Hashirama smiled faintly. "Madara, using my own technique against me? How interesting."
He slammed his palms together. "Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
Another dragon burst forth, larger and more radiant, its scales glowing with chakra. The two dragons collided midair, thrashing and coiling, splintering the sky with thunderous roars.
Hashirama's dragon overpowered Madara's, wrapping tightly around it until it was immobilized.
Madara only grinned wider. "You're still as strong as ever, Hashirama… but this time, I'm different!"
He leapt onto his dragon's head, chakra flooding outward. His Rinnegan shifted, morphing into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
"Susanoo!"
A roar of energy exploded outward. Blue armor of pure chakra wrapped around the Wood Dragon, forming a massive armored beast — a Susanoo Wood Dragon.
Hashirama's dragon shattered instantly, the new fusion bursting free and surging toward him.
Hashirama laughed through the chaos. "No Nine-Tails this time, so you used a Wood Dragon instead? That's so you, Madara!"
Tobirama's eyes widened. "He actually merged Susanoo with Wood Release… unbelievable."
Minato smiled faintly. "Just like Naruto and Sasuke — Susanoo over the Nine-Tails, and now Susanoo over a Wood Dragon. I'll call this technique…"
"Susanoo Armored Wood Dragon: Heavenly Might!"
Boruto crossed his arms, amused. "Have they already reconciled or something? I don't remember Madara ever using Wood Release in front of Hashirama in the anime."
He grinned. "Guess I'm about to see Susanoo on the Great Buddha next."
Hashirama clapped his hands again. "Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
Three more wooden dragons erupted from the water, roaring toward Madara's Susanoo Dragon.
But the fused Susanoo was unstoppable — it cleaved through all three dragons, scattering wood fragments like falling stars.
Hashirama frowned. "So strong… seems I've got no choice."
He entered Sage Mode, black markings spreading across his face as natural energy surged around him.
"Sage Art: Wood Golem Technique!"
The lake exploded as an enormous wooden golem, towering over a hundred meters tall, rose beneath Hashirama. Three Wood Dragons circled around it, roaring in unison.
Madara's grin widened. "Finally getting serious, huh, Hashirama?!"
His Susanoo expanded as well, transforming into a colossal Complete Body Susanoo, glowing blue like a divine warrior, wielding twin chakra blades.
The two titans clashed.
Hashirama's Wood Golem met Madara's Susanoo head-on, shaking heaven and earth.
The Susanoo's twin swords carved massive arcs of destruction, cleaving mountains and dividing rivers.
The Wood Golem countered with unyielding strength, blocking and striking back with thunderous fists and coiling dragons.
Dark clouds rolled overhead, lightning splitting the sky from the force of their power.
"Hashirama—!"
"Madara—!"
They collided once more in a blinding flash of white.
When the light faded, the two descended lightly onto the valley floor. Beneath them lay the Seal of Reconciliation, formed by the fingers of their broken stone statues.
"Hahahaha, Madara!" Hashirama laughed heartily. "Looks like it's a draw this time."
Madara slowly shook his head, eyes lifting to the bright moon.
A faint smile touched his lips.
"No… Hashirama." He exhaled softly. "I lost."
The night wind carried his words away, leaving only silence — and the faint shimmer of the moon reflected in the lake between them.
