Chapter 62 - 62: Divine Realm, Ascension

Crack… crack… crack…

In layers unseen by most eyes, Heaven was peeling away from the world.

Meanwhile, upon the Seven Heaven Mountains, Balder sat cross-legged.

His eyes, pure white under the Pseudo Omniscient Authority, scanned every fiber of his flesh.

Finally, his gaze locked deep within—a hidden soul root beneath the body.

A nearly transparent, spectral double of Balder hovered behind him.

At its brow glowed a strange seal. A faint, invisible thread connected to it, trembling in chaotic motion.

"This… is Asgard's greatest curse: the Fate Seal!"

"What is this mark? A Destiny Imprint?"

He paused.

"Pseudo Omniscient Authority, the decoding of the Thread of Fate, and this imprint…"

His Authority flickered as though resisting.

The signals from the imprint and fate-thread were valid—yet the power gap was astronomical.

To decode the Thread of Fate, he needed twenty minutes.

To parse that strange imprint—thirty minutes.

Clearly, the faith he had accumulated could not support such consumption.

Balder stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"By my current decoding ability under the Pseudo Omniscient Authority—

sub-Proto-Father tier abilities can be parsed in one second.

Proto-Father tier? Slightly slower—about one minute."

Twenty to thirty minutes… that meant powers of Proto-Father level or above.

And not mere powers—but laws of reality.

"I knew the gods of Asgard were bound by this Fate Thread.

Among the formless ancient gods, the most feared is the God of Destiny.

But why is there also a Light-Law imprint?"

In his mind, a dreadful possibility formed.

The Ancient One had once taught that an Asgardian turned Proto-Father became food for the higher deities.

So those "tongue gods" (ancient gods) might not need to physically strike;

they could simply attach themselves.

As soon as one ascended, they "connect," like plugging in a straw to sip the newcomer's power.

And since Balder was a god of Light, the Light-Law imprint in his soul was drawn from the Light ancient god feeding upon him.

He smiled coldly.

"Then we'll see… whether they drink me, or I squeeze them dry."

He fixed his gaze on the Thread of Fate.

"The Light-Gods can wait. The Thread is the real link. If I sever the Thread, those ancient gods lose their lock on me. Returning to the Marvel realm will be unhindered."

He paused again.

"No… maybe I don't need to sever it."

A cold shimmer ran through his eyes.

"If I exceed the gods of Fate in mastery of the Fate Law, I could lock them back, reverse the binding, and drink them instead."

"So first, I must gather enough faith energy to sustain twenty to thirty minutes under full Authority!"

He thought in silence.

He looked at Heaven, now fully peeled from the world, floating in endless emptiness.

A sudden idea struck him.

With a wave, a Transdimensional Gate flickered into being.

His conquered worlds—the Terminator, Superpower Overdrive, and another half-conquered divine world—floated side by side.

Then, divine energy erupted from within him.

He activated the Superpower Overdrive realm.

Its faith currents surged.

Though the Worship of Gods had grown, its purity had waned.

Faith decays if gods do not manifest, and mortal hearts grow restless.

Even Ivanka, the uncrowned Queen, had noticed churches faltering in devotion.

Some clergy had begun praying perfunctorily, arguing with hierarchy about fairness, yielding to doubt.

Then, explosive light rained from the heavens—obscuring the world in brightness.

A grand divine silhouette appeared in the void, majestic and fearless.

Its voice boomed:

"Behold, O Divine Balder, I open the New Divine Realm!"

"From this day forward, this world belongs to your New Divine Realm.

Teach the people the Divine Prayer Art.

Whoever ascends beyond the second tier of the transcendent may fly into the Divine Realm, and follow eternity!"

The divine phantom vanished, leaving behind a sacred Gate, branded across the world's firmament.

Below, the holy hierarchy gaped in astonishment.

"Our Lord opens a new Divine Realm!"

"He even grants the Ascension Path!"

While some were in shock, others, spiritually sensitive, began studying the Divine Prayer Art.

It was more complex than expected: through faith one could receive divine feedback, generate transcendent power, and unlock powerful arts.

"Indeed… no wonder He is our God."

Ivanka, radiant and devout, lifted her hand, a lamp in her grasp.

A high official gasped at the sight.

She smiled:

"This is the basic art 'Light Shine.' Even a sliver of light can expel negative beings."

All eyes turned to her.

Truly transcendent—pure in faith and power.

She expanded the light around her body, forming a Light Shield.

"Third-tier art — Shield of Light. It defends against low-tier firearms and most melee weapons."

Silence fell.

Yes indeed—she had grasped a transcendent art faster than anyone.

Even surpassing the formidable Andrew.

Her unlocking of Divine Prayer astonished all.

Then, across the multiverse, worlds flickered.

A divine will descended—unyielding and majestic.

All sound died.

All life gazed upward in disbelief.

The divine phantom pointed—a finger punctured the cosmos.

The multiverse quaked.

What looked like a knot of timelines unraveled, splitting into six independent worlds.

Heaven's voice boomed across all realities:

"From today forth, these six realms are under Lord Balder's New Divine Realm.

Teach the people Divine Prayer Art.

All who ascend beyond transcendent second-tier may fly to the Divine Realm and pursue eternity!"

The divine image faded; only the mark of Six Divine Realms lingered.

In the Terminator world, Balder emanated divine power, returning to his domain.

"Now I command six subordinate worlds… to harvest faith for me."

He skipped fully annexing the Terminator world—too unstable with time paradox threats.

With the Authority, he sealed off time travel and isolated six stable realms to gather faith.

His view fell to Black Continent.

A spark lit:

"This world is shrouded under a cognition barrier. Mortals can't perceive angels or demons, no matter how destructive the war."

Otherwise, how could humanity remain so calm, so oblivious to colossal battles overhead?

He grinned, eyes alight with strategy.
