Zed opened his eyes as he found himself on a windy cliff.
Below was a forest, and in the surroundings were mountains and rivers.
It was a beautiful scenery.

Zed grinned and rushed forward, heading towards the base of a mountain where the blue line led.
Suddenly, Zed looked below in a particular direction and saw a student looking at him.
Nelis was looking at Zed with a dumbfounded expression before soon, Zed soon disappeared from his field of view.
"What the fuck? Was he flying?" Nelis muttered.
Roar!!
Suddenly, a two-meter-tall lion with a thick flaming mane was rushing towards Nelis from two hundred meters away.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Nelis looked at it, and his eyes glinted. "Common-grade, huh?"
A sword appeared in his hand out of nowhere before the flowing water coated it.
In the next moment, Nelis rushed towards the incoming Embermane Lion with burning resolve in his eyes.
'I won't let him take first place again.'
On the other hand, Zed landed near a pond. The arrow was pointing inside the pond.
"So it's hidden here, eh?" Zed looked at the pond. "Bring it out."

In front of Zed, a rather unique creature appeared.
Three meters long, on four legs with a crocodile tail and a draconic mouth. It had glistering blue scales reflecting light and bright orange eyes.

The giant lizard opened its mouth and unleashed a water beam at Zed, condensed and piercing.
Zed didn't even move from his position. Instead, thin strands of vines rapidly formed into a spiral shield in front of him, completely blocking the attack.
"Wow, just the spirit energy transformed by the Wooden Spurt Kingdom's formation is powerful!" Zed was surprised.

"Wow. Double, huh?"
The lizard rushed at him and swiped its claws at Zed's legs, which were exposed, but the shield expanded and blocked it easily.
In the next moment, sharp wooden spiral spikes burst out from the shield, instantly piercing the lizard's head, throat, and stomach before expanding and tearing it into pieces.

Zed sat down on a boulder near the pond, cross-legged.
"Time to form the core."
He took out the Tier-2 Assorted Box of Elemental Resources and opened it.
It had one Tier-2 resource of seven different elements.
Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Lightning, Wood, and Ice.
[ These are Tier-2 resources. Usually, Novice-rank players shouldn't use them as they wouldn't be able to control and refine their energy, but you should be fine. ]
"Alright."
Taking out the wood-attributed resource, which was a Nature's Cloak Flower, Zed broke it down with his spirit energy and absorbed it.
He channeled the absorbed energy of the resource, circulating it in the formation according to the manual and finally forming a core. A Spirit Core.
It took him ten minutes, but he was done, and the moment the core formed, Zed felt profound changes within him.
"My spirit energy recovery doubled, I think. And there's more…" Zed felt the changes within. "Not that I need to worry about my recoveries because of the crown's effects." [1]
