The Tricky, Summon!
The Wicked God said, "Starting off with a high-level monster?"
"If you're surprised by that, I'll have to look down on you three even more," Kira replied. "The card I just discarded to the graveyard was the Quick-Play Spell 'Silent Burning.'"
He retrieved the card from his graveyard and displayed it.
"By banishing the Quick-Play Spell 'Silent Burning' from my graveyard, I can add 'Silent Magician' from my deck to my hand."
His deck auto-searched, and a golden card popped out, which Kira drew.
"I add 'Silent Magician' from my deck to my hand."
The Wicked God noticed that the monsters Kira summoned and searched were all Spellcaster-type.
"Spellcasters," the Wicked God sneered. "Just a bunch of flashy tricksters. You don't actually think you can fight gods with mere magicians, do you?"
"Mere magicians?" Kira chuckled. "Whether that's true or not, why don't you feel for yourself?"
"I Normal Summon 'Witch of the Black Forest' in Attack Position."
A black-robed witch appeared, eyes closed, fingers interlaced as if in silent prayer.

"'Silent Magician' in my hand can't be Normal Summoned, only Special Summoned by tributing a Spellcaster on the field.
I tribute my 'Witch of the Black Forest'!
Wings of silent hope, magician of light—appear now—
—Silent Magician, Summon!"
The witch dissolved into light, a white magic circle appearing at her feet. Dazzling light condensed into a flowing robe, silver hair, and the mage gently descended onto the floating circle.

"A spirit, out already?"
The Wicked God narrowed his eyes, glaring at Silent, then at Kira, and sneered:
"You sure have a lot of spirits. Once I defeat you, all your strength, your spirits, will become our nourishment."
"Is that so? Good luck then."
Kira smiled nonchalantly and continued:
"'Witch of the Black Forest'—Monster Effect activates.
When sent to the graveyard, I add a monster with 1500 or less DEF from my deck to my hand."
His deck searched again, and Kira plucked a card and waved it.
"I add 'Jinzo' (DEF 1500) from my deck to my hand."
He then slotted a Spell Card into his back row.
"'Double Summon' lets me perform a second Normal Summon this turn.
So, I tribute 'The Tricky!'"
He removed The Tricky, replacing it with Jinzo in the monster zone.
"King of Psychics, Trap Slayer—
—Jinzo, Summon!"
The magician's body dissolved in a burst of red electricity. Mechanical red eyes lit up, and the alloy-bodied Jinzo floated midair, psychic energy radiating across the field.

"Not a Spellcaster now, but a machine?"
A cold gleam flashed in the Wicked God's eyes.
Another spirit!
The Wicked God was getting greedy. This guy really has a lot of spirits—if we win, it'll be a huge harvest.
"Turn end."
Kira ended his turn, gesturing politely.
Wicked God: "My turn. Draw."
The Wicked God glanced at his hand, then spoke calmly:
"Last time, I was careless, and external forces limited my power.
But not this time. Since you dared enter the realm of the gods, be ready to face divine wrath."
He revealed a card.
"Activate Spell Card 'Soul Taker'
Destroy one of your monsters; you gain 1000 LP!"
He eyed Kira's two monsters, then settled on Jinzo.
Jinzo, who had looked calm and confident, now felt a jolt of dread.
Not again—am I going to be KO'd right after showing up?
But—
"MUDA!"
Kira snapped his fingers. A wave of white light rose in the Wicked God's back row, chains binding the Spell Card, draining its power until it withered and shattered.
"NANI?"
The Wicked God's expression changed, his gaze landing on Silent Magician.
The white-robed mage pointed her staff at him, white light flickering, her cold face resolute.
"I see," the Wicked God said. "It's that magician's ability?"
"Correct," Kira replied. "'Silent Magician' is a light-based spellcaster who can, once per turn, negate the activation of a Spell Card.
I used her power to negate 'Soul Taker'"
Jinzo threw a grateful glance at Silent.
The Wicked God snorted.
"Annoying magician—then you'll be the first to go."
His gaze swept over Kira's two monsters.
"So that's it. 'Silent Magician' negates spells; 'Jinzo' blocks traps.
A double lock!
The Wicked God had figured it out: Kira had set up a double lock turn one to heavily restrict his spells and traps. Nasty.
But he was the strongest Wicked God. If they thought this would seal his actions, they were sorely mistaken.
He played another card.
"Then I activate the effect of 'Darklord Ixchel' in my hand! Send it and another Darklord from my hand to the grave, draw two cards!"
He discarded two cards, then drew two more.
"Next, activate Spell Card 'Card Destruction.'
Both players discard their hands, then draw the same number."
Kira and the Wicked God discarded their hands and drew new cards.
"Such a lock means nothing to a god. Let me show you!"
The Wicked God declared:
"Activate Spell Card 'Darklord Contact' Revive a Darklord monster from the graveyard in Defense Position!
I revive the recently discarded—"
He pulled a monster from the grave.
"'Darklord Superbia,' Summon!"
