Chapter 1676 - Chapter 1670: The Five Guardians!

Cain smiled faintly and opened both hands to indicate that he had no ill intentions. Then he retreated together with Gardevoir.

He had probably unintentionally entered this Kingdra's territory. Added to the fact that she had just hatched her children, Cain understood the hostility Kingdra showed in order to protect them.

Only, when Cain unconsciously scanned the data of this Kingdra and her little Horsea, his expression finally changed a little.

Kingdra was a Dragon-type Pokémon. For Seadra to evolve into Kingdra, it needed to use a Dragon Scale to awaken the hidden Dragon-type attribute in this Pokémon's body. Only then would this Pokémon's advantages as a Dragon type truly show themselves.

And as Kingdra's children, it was inevitable that the Horsea would possess Dragon-type blood in their bodies.

But a clutch in which all of them possessed such dense Dragon-type blood, and even had identical Egg Moves, was without a doubt something very rare.

Basically, the Egg Moves of these Horsea included Dragon Rage, Dragon Breath, and even the move Outrage, three extremely scarce Dragon-type moves.

Leaving aside Dragon Rage and Dragon Breath, the main thing was the move Outrage. This Dragon-type move was not something all Horsea could inherit. Only those Horsea with extremely dense Dragon-type blood could inherit it.

But these Horsea had all inherited the ultimate move of Dragon-type Pokémon, Outrage.

This was practically impossible!

Even if their parents were extremely outstanding and both possessed very dense Dragon-type blood, it was very rare for all their children to perfectly inherit the move Outrage.

This explained many things.

Everywhere there were Water-type Pokémon with strong bodies. Although Cain had not checked or scanned them in detail, he could more or less guess something: these Water-type Pokémon probably possessed, to a greater or lesser extent, some Dragon blood in their bodies.

And now, added to these Horsea that had inherited top-level Dragon blood...

"It seems this Dragon's Den is even more marvelous than I imagined. It is also much more mysterious than my master thought. It cannot be fully explained simply by saying it is a branch of the Dragon Space."

A divine light circulated in Cain's eyes.

Noticing that Cain, who had originally been about to leave, was looking with a strange expression at both her and her newly born children, Kingdra's gaze became hostile again.

Cain noticed the change in Kingdra's gaze, smiled again, and disappeared from the place together with Gardevoir through Teleport.

Now, he could still be considered to be in the outskirts of the Dragon's Den, and he had already discovered how the Dragon's Den transformed so many Pokémon in this place. Then, what would the true depths of the Dragon's Den be like?

He no longer wasted more time wandering too much around the outside, and directly used Teleport to advance.

According to what Kael had said, in the deepest part of the Dragon's Den there was an ancient temple, and that was the foundation of the entire Dragon's Den.

At the same time, inside this temple were also recorded quite a few things about the origin of the Drako family, and even the origin of Dragon-type Pokémon. This was also one of the secrets of the Drako family.

However, the Drako family did not reject its members, or even other people who entered the Dragon's Den, entering the temple.

Of course, there was a prerequisite. To enter the temple, one had to pass some tests. For example, there were Dragon-type Pokémon specially responsible for guarding the outside of the temple. Only by defeating them could one enter.

According to what Lance had once casually told Cain, the temple the Drako family possessed inside the Dragon's Den had a history no less ancient than that of Cynthia's family temple in the Sinnoh region.

Cain headed directly toward that temple through Teleport.

An ancient, imposing, and majestic temple appeared before Cain and Gardevoir!

This temple was built completely on the surface of the water.

Just by approaching, one could feel a mysterious and ancient atmosphere coming straight toward them. This feeling was very similar to the temple in the Sinnoh region that Cain had gone to before, only one was built on the water, and the other inside a mountain.

Cain looked at that ancient temple for a long time without saying anything.

This was probably one of the few ancient remains in the entire Pokémon world capable of moving and shaking even Cain.

Splash, splash!

When Cain approached, one Pokémon after another poked their heads out from the water. There were also some Pokémon capable of flying that descended from the upper part of the Dragon's Den.

These Pokémon had come to watch the spectacle. They knew what it meant for someone to approach the temple: another challenger had arrived!

And once such a person appeared, it meant there would be a grand battle they could observe.

In this monotonous and boring Dragon's Den, there were not many opportunities to see battles of that level.

Because of that, the wild Pokémon here paid extreme attention to this situation. There were even quite a few Pokémon that came with their young to watch, so that their children could learn the fighting style of these powerful Dragon-type Pokémon.

A circle of Pokémon surrounded Cain from afar, enclosing him in the center.

Then, when all the spectators had already gathered, the true main figures responsible for guarding the temple finally "arrived late."

At the front was a Dragonite that looked very affable, but whose aura was imposing.

And beside this Dragonite were a Kingdra, an Aerodactyl, and two fierce Gyarados. In total, there were five Pokémon.

They looked like the five great guardians, looking at Cain and Gardevoir beside him from an elevated position.

Cain swept his gaze over these Pokémon, and their data was presented in the form of images on his retina.

The level of these Pokémon was not low. For most people, they could be existences like a heavenly abyss, something impossible to cross no matter what they did.

But for Cain, although their levels were high and their strength powerful, they were not completely unacceptable either.
