Suddenly, a loud thunder exploded across the sky. More than a dozen lightning bolts burst from two central points, flashing like the wrath of God itself—terrifying and unstoppable.
It was a sunny day. There shouldn't have been any thunder or lightning.
Clearly, the source was obvious. And so was the culprit.
"Have you made it back? Victor!! Who is that..."
The world's strongest swordsman, Hawkeye Mihawk, looked up at the sky, his sharp eyes narrowing in confusion.
"Victor? Where is Victor?"
The ghost princess Perona shielded her eyes from the sun with her pale hands and glanced upward. Only two bolts of lightning were visible. Where was Victor?
Mihawk ignored her. Though he barely caught a glimpse of a figure in the sky, it was clear that there was more than one thunder user up there. One figure, like Victor, had transformed entirely into lightning.
Who could this person be? Judging by the power of their lightning, they were clearly not inferior to Victor at all.
"Lord Snake Lady! Lord Snake Lady! Lord Snake Lady!"
Suddenly, loud shouts erupted from the Daughter Island Port Defense Line. An extremely beautiful woman appeared at the front.
Amazon Lily's Emperor, the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock.
The Navy and the Nine Snakes' warriors were certain: the thundering figure in the sky smashing the giant fists of magma was none other than Thunder God Victor, the rookie super pirate with a 2.1 billion berry bounty!
"Mother-in-law Niu, thank you so much! Leave this to me and Victor!"
The Pirate Queen Hancock's expression remained cold, but she respected the previous emperor, Grandma New. Half of the credit for Daughter Island holding on came from her.
At the same time, Hancock's anger grew. The Navy dared to launch a demon-slaying order against Daughter Island. Unforgivable.
"Victor!!!"
Navy Admiral Akainu roared the name he despised.
Every Marine tensed, even the five veteran vice admirals.
These elite sailors wanted to restore the Navy's honor, but now Victor—the cause of the chaos in Marineford—stood before them.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sound of explosions continued.
Two lightning bolts smashed the descending magma fists. Nearly a hundred fists formed the Meteor Volcano, yet not a single one struck its target.
"Asshole!!"
Akainu cursed. Meteor Volcano had failed for the first time.
He noticed another figure—Enel—transforming into thunder.
Who is that? How could someone else wield lightning like this?
"Order reinforcements. I'll wipe them out in one strike!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Master Victor! Master Victor! Master Victor!"
As Victor landed slowly on the port's defense line, the entire area erupted. Countless Nine Snakes warriors shouted his name.
Victor hadn't abandoned them.
"Captain! Are all these your women?"
Enel yawned, unfazed even after smashing so many lava fists.
"If you don't want to get kicked, shut up!"
Victor scolded him, frustrated at his nonsense. Enel never restrained himself.
"Red Dog! Long time no see. I heard you got promoted? Thought you were resigning!"
Victor faced Akainu without fear, only determination.
This red dog deserved a beating.
"How can I resign when criminals who disgrace justice still exist?! Victor, Hancock, and the entire Amazon Lily will be destroyed today!"
Akainu roared, his absolute justice demanding execution.
"Captain! Who are these people?! Why do so many wear the same uniform?!"
Enel asked, suddenly curious.
"They are the Navy! The ones who can grant you the title of Thor," Victor explained.
"Yahahaha! Are they worthy of being Left and Right Gods?!"
Enel laughed, thrilled to reclaim his power, though this wasn't the naval headquarters.
He transformed into a bolt of lightning and attacked.
"Be careful, Enel!" Victor shouted. With his fruit powers, Enel was almost untouchable unless Akainu intervened directly.
"Wife! Granny New! Organize everyone to use the island anti-aircraft guns! Our counterattack begins!"
Meanwhile, elite Marines from the five remaining sunken warships landed for the island assault. A new round of battle had begun.
Victor stood at the front of the port, wielding his sword, Thunderstorm. Elite Marines tried to advance, but no one could get past ten steps under his thunder-infused slashes.
Hancock and Grandma New commanded the remaining twenty-three anti-aircraft guns on the port defense line.
Enel's performance was explosive. Ten divine punishments fired instantly. Without Akainu's direct interference, the remaining warships would likely have been sunk.
Still, the Navy seemed at a disadvantage. Many soldiers wondered: besides Victor, who else could wield lightning like this?
Enel's speed made it impossible for Akainu to target him effectively.
"That! That is!??!"
"Be careful!!!"
Amid the tension, shouts erupted from both the Navy and the Nine Snakes.
Two massive shells were hurtling toward the Navy and Daughter Island simultaneously.
These shells were mountain-sized.
Multiply·100x Cannon!!!
"Let's destroy them together! Navy! Pirates! Hahahaha!"
On the Ward Pirate ship, Bondi Ward laughed wildly, holding the colossal cannon.
"Wald, we can just wait until they are defeated..."
"Bin Jack! I'm Bondi Ward! Why wait? Destroy anything in my way!!"
The World Destroyer's artillery was enough to destroy an island. After thirty years in Impel Down, he wanted to annihilate everything.
Swish!!
Boom!!
But in Bondi Ward's disbelief, his massive shells were destroyed halfway—one by a sword, the other by a punch.
