Chapter 107 - Chapter 106: Memories! A Scene from Marinford

Island of Ruins.

On the edge of the seawater lake formed by the core ruins, former Navy Admiral Aokiji exuded extreme cold from head to toe. In front of him stood a crystal-clear ice sculpture.

Inside the sculpture was a new super pirate with a bounty of 2.6 billion berries—Victor.

Aokiji finally exhaled a sigh of relief, though he felt that freezing Victor had been unusually easy. But it didn't matter. He had used several overlapping icy moves. No human—and not even an ancient giant beast—could escape this. Life had been frozen.

"Ah, it's time to end it, Victor. Perhaps you're right… the World Government, the Navy, and I are no longer suitable. I'll enforce my own justice from now on. It's a pity you won't be able to see it."

Aokiji muttered as he slowly approached the ice sculpture. In truth, he did not harbor ill feelings toward Victor.

For one, Victor had defeated Akainu twice.

As a pirate, he had never heard of Victor killing civilians to seize property or increase his bounty.

This man—married to the Pirate Queen and owning a kingdom—was legitimately wealthy. How many pirates debut with a bounty over 2 billion berries?

The Pirate God Victor was enviable… but today, the legend would end.

"Goodbye, Victor."

Aokiji's expression hardened. He raised a fist brimming with Haki and aimed at the ice sculpture. He intended to smash Victor into ice dust, personally ending this short but dazzling legend.

Boom!

The fist collided with the ice sculpture. Cracks formed—but then Aokiji froze in shock.

This punch should have shattered the sculpture entirely. Why was it barely damaged?

Even more startling, the ice layers covering Victor melted instantly. Magma couldn't have melted ice this quickly!

Aokiji relaxed briefly, convinced Victor was powerless. But now, he was terrified. He tried to pull back, but the arm that had thrown the punch wouldn't budge.

A pair of hands, reinforced with Armament Haki, clamped tightly around him.

Aokiji's face, once cold as ice, now radiated disbelief. Victor had broken free from multiple icy restraints in an instant without warning.

"Surprised?! Unexpected?! Aokiji, now it's my turn!!!"

Victor's sinister smile widened. He had caught Aokiji and was determined to make him suffer a beating he would never forget.

Even though he wanted Aokiji to join his crew, this beating was unavoidable.

Two Hundred Million Volts Thunderous Eight Extreme Blast!!!

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Lightning erupted from Victor's body, enough to make even Aokiji feel the danger. He tried to dodge, but Victor's Armament Haki held his arm firmly.

Helpless, Aokiji braced for impact.

Boom!!!!!

The electric current, amplified to 200 million volts, slammed into Aokiji's chest. He spat blood despite his best defense. The force hurled him backward, allowing him to break free momentarily.

Before he could recover, Victor, as fast as lightning, was back. He showed no mercy—punches, kicks, finger guns, and storm kicks all reinforced with Armament Haki and high-intensity electric current.

Aokiji, careless for a moment, was thrown from the ground to the sky, sky to ground, and back again.

The realization hit him: Victor had pretended to be frozen. This was deliberate—and utterly sinister.

Aokiji's mind recalled Shigure Shiryu's experience at Marinford. His current situation mirrored Shiryu's misery… and he had mocked Shiryu back then.

"Hiss~ Victor, it's too scary…"

In a jungle a short distance from the battlefield, Sabo, drawn by the noise, gasped at the one-sided fight. Victor was hammering Aokiji in the sky.

The former Navy Admiral was a top-tier expert, yet utterly passive in Victor's hands.

No wonder the World Government had mobilized so heavily against him.

"Yeah, hahaha! After all, he's the captain of the Thunder God. Naturally, he must have this level of strength!"

Enel laughed loudly, amused that Sabo had called Victor "Thor" just now. It was quite fitting.

"Sabo, you really don't need to help Robin?!"

Enel wasn't worried about Victor—once his captain gained the upper hand, counterattacks would be nearly impossible.

The real concern was Robin. Shortly after escaping, two CP0 members had tried to intercept the archaeologists. Upon seeing Enel, they tried to flee but were stopped. The stronger CP0 was killed by Enel and Sabo.

The masked weaker one, however, Robin insisted on killing herself.

"No, it's her own business!"

Sabo glanced at Robin, who fought fiercely, shaking his head. He knew something about O'Hara's history. Letting Robin personally punish her enemy was the most fitting closure for the destruction of O'Hara.

Meanwhile, Robin's life-and-death battle with Spandam reached its climax. Her face was cold, eyes filled with murderous intent.

Spandam laughed madly—afraid, yet doomed. His final wish was to take Nico Robin with him in death.
