On the same day, at the elementary school, Fiona and Iris sat quietly in their classroom. Both kept glancing at the clock on the wall at the front of the class while continuing to write. A moment later, the bell rang, signaling it was time to go home.
Fiona and Iris's faces immediately lit up, and they quickly put their books into their bags. After standing to salute the teacher, the teacher left the room. The students then started filing out, lining up toward the front door of the school building, accompanied by the teacher.
Fiona and Iris walked side-by-side, holding hands, but Fiona suddenly turned to look aside because she felt someone watching her. She was startled to see a janitor observing her from behind a wall, and when their eyes met, the janitor pretended to look elsewhere and sweep. Fiona immediately turned to Iris.
"Iris, I think someone is watching us," Fiona said.
"Huh... really?" Iris asked, turning toward the direction Fiona pointed.
