"Aren't you Khonshu's fist?"
"Aren't you the embodiment of vengeance?"
"Where is your divine power?"
He spread his arms, as if inviting.
Moon Knight gasped for breath, blood continuously oozing from the corners of his mouth and the wounds on his body, staining his White suit red.
His mind was blank.
Only one thought remained.
Kill him.
He drew two crescent darts from his waist and, without hesitation, threw them fiercely.
The darts whistled through the air, spinning towards Shadow Knight's throat and heart.
Shadow Knight merely extended two fingers.
"Clink!"
"Clink!"
Two crisp sounds.
He actually used his fingers to precisely catch those two high-speed spinning darts!
"Still the same old tricks."
He contemptuously threw the darts to the ground.
"Since you joined the army, you've only ever used these petty tricks."
"Mark, you're always so... uninteresting."
Before he finished speaking, his figure instantly vanished from the spot.
Moon Knight's heart suddenly constricted, an extreme sense of danger enveloping his entire body.
He spun around abruptly.
But it was already too late.
A gleaming military Dagger silently pierced him from behind, 貫穿了他 的 右 肩.
"Pfft."
The intense pain made Moon Knight's body stiffen suddenly.
"I followed you."
Shadow Knight's voice, like a demon's whisper, sounded behind his ear.
"I followed you to join the army."
"I followed you to be a mercenary."
"Whether on the battlefield or in those dirty deserts, I was watching you."
"Watching you always be better than me."
"Watching you receive everyone's praise."
"Watching Father's gaze always linger on you!"
His voice, from initial calmness, grew increasingly agitated, finally turning into a suppressed roar.
He abruptly pulled out the Dagger!
Bringing out a gush of hot blood!
Moon Knight groaned in pain, dropping to one knee.
"And what about me?"
Shadow Knight walked in front of him, stepping on his head, grinding his face harshly into the dirty Water on the ground.
"I could only live in your Shadow."
"An eternal loser."
"A dispensable substitute."
He pressed down with his foot, and Moon Knight's skull let out a groan of unbearable strain.
"But now, it's different."
"Brother."
"Tonight, it's my turn to be the protagonist."
He lifted his foot, preparing to crush Moon Knight's skull in the most humiliating way.
In the alley, there was a deathly silence.
Elektra gripped the twin sai in her hands, ready to act.
Just then.
The head, which had been pressed into the Water, suddenly lifted.
Moon Knight didn't look at Shadow Knight.
His gaze penetrated the dirty Water, pierced the cold ground, as if seeing something.
He saw Marlene's pale face.
He saw that dazzling pool of blood.
He saw a life that had passed away before it was even fully formed.
Pain.
Pain that cut to the bone.
Pain that burned the soul.
"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah—!"
An indescribable, utterly pure force erupted from the deepest part of his body with a roar!
That wasn't Khonshu's divine power.
That was all the anger left in a man who had lost everything!
He didn't stand up.
He knelt on the ground, his body suddenly twisting, like a desperate Beast, he swung his left fist with all his might.
This punch had no target.
No direction.
It was simply a pure outpouring, wanting to destroy everything.
Shadow Knight's pupils suddenly constricted.
He wanted to dodge.
But he couldn't.
This punch was too fast.
So fast it surpassed all his combat experience and anticipation.
So fast that it seemed even time stood still for it.
"Puff—!"
There was no earth-shattering roar.
Only a dull and eerie sound of a fist punching through wet leather.
Time, it seemed, resumed its flow at this moment.
Elektra remained in her charging posture, frozen in place.
The wind in the alley also stopped.
Moon Knight still maintained his kneeling posture.
His left arm was stretched out straight.
His fist had completely plunged into Shadow Knight's chest.
From the front, it had pierced through to the back.
Blood flowed profusely down his arm, dripping onto the ground, mixing with the dirty Water.
Shadow Knight slowly, slowly lowered his head.
He looked at the arm in his chest.
He didn't cry out.
There was no expression of pain on his face either.
Beneath the hood, in the eyes hidden behind the mask, there was a strange calm, almost like relief.
He raised his head and looked at Moon Knight's White mask, covered in blood and rain.
His lips moved.
A gush of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs surged from the corner of his mouth.
He used his last ounce of strength to utter a blurred, yet incredibly clear, syllable.
"...Bro...ther..."
