----------

Ivan Dreyar.

He was skilled in Illusion Magic and Shikigami Magic, and among his peers in Fairy Tail, his strength was second only to Gildarts.

As the grandson of Yuri, one of the original four members of Fairy Tail, and the son of the Third Guild Master Makarov, Ivan's background was impeccable, yet he harbored ambitions that were at odds with the Guild.

To gain power, Ivan set his sights on the Guild's "taboo" and successfully uncovered a secret only the Guild Master could know—Lumen Histoire, possessing infinite Magic Power.

However, Ivan's ambition to become king through Lumen Histoire ended that very day; he was caught red-handed by Makarov and subsequently expelled from the Guild.

This departure lasted over a decade.

"No wonder there's been no news of that unfilial son all these years; it turns out he was transported to a parallel world..." Makarov lowered his head and sighed softly, then slammed his palm heavily on the coffee table.

Noah's heart skipped a beat. After revealing everything, he didn't know how to face Makarov or how Makarov would view him.

Thankfully, Mystogan sensed his younger brother's conflicted feelings and immediately spoke to ease the tension. "Master, please don't be angry..."

"Angry? Why would I be angry?"

Makarov looked up, his face devoid of any anger. Seeing Noah's awkward expression, he immediately understood, withdrew his hand, and said, "It's rare to see an embarrassed expression on you."

"Don't worry, I am not blaming you—I'm slamming the table out of happiness."

Makarov slowly explained that he'd regretted expelling Ivan from the Guild that day because Ivan knew a lot of information about Fairy Tail, including the Guild's biggest secret, Lumen Histoire.

If this information were to leak, it would be a major blow to Fairy Tail.

Unexpectedly, not long after Ivan was expelled from the Guild, he unluckily entered the range of Anima and was transferred to the Edolas World.

Thinking of his other self in another world, who would drag out that unfilial son who betrayed the Guild's secrets and beat him twice whenever he had nothing to do, Makarov felt a sense of shared joy and immense satisfaction.

As expected of my other self!

He did what I always wanted to do but never had the chance.

Listening to Makarov's explanation, Noah and Mystogan's expressions froze. Who would've thought that an old man, upon hearing the news of his son getting beaten daily, would react with such joy, even slamming the table... However, Ivan's actions did prove one thing: he hadn't been beaten enough.

Noah couldn't help but recall Ivan's spineless appearance in the Edolas prison. It was hard to imagine that fawning fellow was Makarov's son and Laxus's father.

Perhaps because he was in the mood, Makarov chatted with Noah and Mystogan until very late, only letting them leave when he, the old man, felt sleepy.

Noah returned to his dorm, intending to sleep until he woke up naturally.

However, less than four hours after falling asleep, Noah was dragged out of bed by a red-haired girl who suddenly burst in.

"Natsu, move those materials over here."

"Gray, put on your clothes, then move these bricks over there."

"Elfman, keep your hands steady when mixing the mortar."

"..."

Erza, wearing work clothes and a hard hat, carried a large piece of wood on her shoulder, working while also supervising.

The construction site was filled with laughter. Although the work was heavy, everyone was full of drive and enthusiasm.

Making the Guild's environment better little by little with their own hands was a joyful thing.

But for someone who was habitually lazy, the mood wasn't so pleasant.

Dragged out to work early in the morning, the sleep-deprived Noah yawned again, pretending to shovel sand by the sand pile, slacking off.

"Oh, right, Erza."

"Last night, I mentioned Ultear to Master. Regarding the Oración Seis, he told us to go ahead but to be careful."

Hearing Noah's words, Erza nodded.

Although Ultear only needed to deal with the Oración Seis's strategist, Brain, known as Zero, it sounded simple, but just planning it was fraught with difficulties.

According to the information provided by Ultear, the Oración Seis's Guild Master, Zero, had been in seclusion for years, and few people had seen him. Brain managed the entire Guild.

Therefore, dealing with Brain meant dealing with the entire Oración Seis, except for the mysterious Guild Master Zero.

The opponent was one of the three great Dark Guilds—this matter required careful consideration.

Just as Erza was about to ask Noah to discuss how to deal with the Oración Seis after work, a cloaked figure appeared from the smoke.

Erza greeted her companion, "Mystogan, are you still going to hide your face?"

Mystogan nodded and said, "After all, my counterpart and I look exactly alike. To avoid trouble, it's better to continue like this."

"Noah, come with me to see someone."

Hearing his older brother's words, Noah eagerly stuck his shovel into the sand pile. For a slacker like him, even pretending to work was exhausting.

Looking at the retreating figure of the white-haired young man who immediately ran off, Erza pouted helplessly. "This guy... is it really that hard for him to do some work?"

Mystogan shrugged. He was also helpless about this suddenly appearing younger brother.

"Erza, you come with me too."

"Magic Councilor Yajima of the Council, and the Guild Masters of Blue Pegasus and Quatro Cerberus, have come to visit our Guild Master."

Following Mystogan's footsteps, Noah and Erza arrived at the cemetery behind the Kardia Cathedral, where they saw Makarov and four old men standing before a tombstone from a distance.

Makarov, Yajima, Bob, the Guild Master of Blue Pegasus, Goldmine, the Guild Master of Quatro Cerberus, and Porlyusica, who'd been invited two days ago to treat Totomaru.

Who were they mourning?

Approaching with confusion, Erza froze, for the tombstone read, "Tomb of my dear friend Rob."

The Council had already settled the victims of the Tower of Heaven. Yajima had learned from Simon the location where Rob was buried seven years ago.

Not wanting his good friend to be alone in a foreign land, Yajima had brought his friend's ashes back to Magnolia for burial.

Although they'd all left Fairy Tail for their respective dreams, Yajima knew that Rob must still be fond of this place.

Makarov knew about Erza and Rob's past, so he said nothing, leaving with his old friends and giving the red-haired girl some space.

Gently touching the cold tombstone, her mind filled with the gentle old man, Erza tried to smile.

"Grandpa Rob, the rebellion succeeded, everyone is free, and the children you cared about have all embarked on their desired paths."

"Simon, Wally, and Shô, the three of them promised to travel the world together, and also search for their separated family."

"Millianna opened a cat cafe in the capital, adopting many adorable cats."

"Oh, and Grandpa Rob, I met a boy a while ago. His name is Noah..."
