Abruptly, then, before Grand Neos could move, Magical Scientist shouted, "Then this old man activates Myutant Arsenal's effect! When your opponent activates a monster effect: I banish 1 card from my hand or field and target 1 monster on the field; banish that target!
"At the same time, I chain to Myutant Arsenal's effect and flip my face-down card—the Trap Card Psychic Rejuvenation. I gain 1000 Life Points for each Psychic monster I control.
"I have two Psychic monsters on my field, so I gain 2000 Life Points!"
Green light burst from the bodies of the two eerie monsters on Magical Scientist's field and flowed into his body.

"Next, I banish the monster card Necroface from my hand, then target your Grand Neos and banish it!!"
"Necroface!?" Yuui seized up.
In the next moment, a grotesque and sickening spectral creature—the kind that might not even appear in a horror film—manifested on the field.
"Ah!!!"
Alicia screamed, hiding behind Yuui as she looked at the monster composed of a dead doll's head fused with bizarre tentacles. Off the field, Alice nearly threw up, and even Aleister looked away in discomfort.
The creature then entered Myutant Arsenal's body. Immediately after, the mechanical monster fired a dark red laser at Grand Neos, erasing it instantly.
However, just before leaving the field, Grand Neos released a final spiral beam, knocking Myutant Arsenal back into Magical Scientist's hand.

Magical Scientist continued, "And at this moment, Necroface's effect activates: when this card is banished, both players banish the top 5 cards of their Decks."
He drew the top five cards from his Deck and banished them. Yuui did the same.
Yuui looked again at the Myutant Beast on Magical Scientist's field, as well as the remaining face-down card.
If he was remembering correctly, Myutant Beast had the same activation condition as Myutant Arsenal, except its effect negated the activation of Spell Cards.
And earlier, the reason Magical Scientist did not stop him from activating Neo Space and Instant Contact was because he wanted to see Yuui's power.
After all, this duel was not about winning or losing—it was Yuui's chance to prove to Magical Scientist that he could create monsters capable of reaching the realm of gods.
And if that was the goal, then Yuui had only one thing to do—to demonstrate Neos' potential.
A while ago, this might have been difficult, as his soul had been weakened and incomplete, his magic power lacking.
But after forming a contract with the Odd-Eyes Dragon, the embodiment of "foundation," everything had changed.

Purple haze gathered and solidified on the field. A purple hero in a deep-violet combat suit, his face completely hidden, appeared.

"Then, now, Shadow Mist's effect activates. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: I add 1 HERO monster with a different name from my Deck to my hand. I choose to add Elemental HERO Stratos!"
The silhouette of Stratos appeared beside Yuui as he drew the card.
"My lord!"
Stratos bowed deeply to Yuui. As Alicia's spirit, he naturally knew Yuui's identity. Now that his memories had been restored, he finally remembered who Yuui truly was.
"Mhm." Yuui nodded lightly, then continued, "Next, I activate Vyon's other effect. Once per turn, I can banish 1 HERO monster from my Graveyard to add Polymerization from my Deck to my hand.
"I banish Shadow Mist from my Graveyard and add Polymerization from my Deck to my hand."
"Then, I activate the Spell Card Polymerization. I fuse Elemental HERO Neos and the Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier in my hand! The Fusion Materials are Elemental HERO Neos and any Level 4 or lower Effect Monster!!"
A multicolored fusion vortex appeared, and Neos and Liquid Soldier flew into it.
"Warrior from the cosmic realm of Neo Space, reveal your potential at this moment! Fusion Summon—come forth, Elemental HERO Brave Neos!!"
A burst of seven-colored light erupted, and in the next instant, the newly transformed form of Neos burst out from within the radiance.

"The card I sent to the Graveyard was Neo-Spacian Glow Moss. Since there's now one more Neo-Spacian in my Graveyard, Brave Neos' Attack increases by another 100!"

Magical Scientist did not attempt to interrupt Yuui's sequence with Myutant Beast's effect. Instead, he observed the power of Neos intently.
Then he spoke slowly: "I see... this monster called Neos possesses astonishing adaptability. From what you've shown so far, it seems he can combine with both HEROes and those so-called Neo-Spacians to form new Fusion forms.
"That said, these are merely individual forms. While impressive, they are still far from the realm of the gods.
"However, I once heard the tale of the Kingdom of Rejus—the rumor that the silver-white warrior manifested a 'godlike form' to defeat the Three Sacred Beasts and seal them once more.
"Judging from what you've shown, if this Neos can merge with multiple powers simultaneously, then he must be capable of attaining a form worthy of being called a god, correct?"
Hearing this analysis, Yuui showed clear surprise.
