After hearing Aleister's explanation, only one thought appeared in Yuui's mind—thank goodness. Thank goodness that card was erased from existence, or he really might have lost.
Magical Scientist remained silent for a moment before speaking coolly: "Now that you understand the reason, let us continue this old man's turn.
"I activate the Continuous Spell Psychic Path's effect. I pay 800 Life Points and target up to 2 of my banished Psychic monsters; I return them to my hand.
"I choose to return Necroface and Myutant M-05 to my hand."
[Magical Scientist, LP: 5000 → 4200]
After retrieving the two cards, Magical Scientist immediately revealed one of them. "From my hand, I activate the effect of Myutant M-05. If there is a Myutant card on my field, I can Special Summon this card from my hand."
A sludge-like, pyramid-shaped creature oozed onto the field. A blue‑green eye opened within the mass, radiating uncanny malice.

"Next, I activate the effect of Myutant M-05. It shares the same activation condition as ST-46 and M-05. I Tribute it and banish 1 Myutant card from my hand or Deck to Special Summon its evolved form, and I then lose Life Points equal to the banished monster's original Attack.
"I Tribute Myutant M-05, then banish the Equip Spell Myutant Blast from my Deck—and Special Summon Myutant Mist!!"
Black tendrils burst outward. Shards of magical crystals—each pulsing with a different elemental force—fused into the sludge-like base form.
The creature trembled violently. From its mass sprouted tendrils tipped with elemental crystals. Four rhomboid petals unfolded around its blue‑green central eye.
The grotesque, eldritch flower of mutation—the final form of the Myutant triad—Myutant Mist, descended upon the field.

"Since Myutant Mist has 2700 Attack, this old man loses 2700 Life Points!"
[Magical Scientist, LP: 4200 → 1500]
"Next—Battle Phase!" Magical Scientist swung his hand. "Myutant Mist, attack Vision HERO Vyon—Arcane Burst!!"
Six beams of differing elemental energies launched straight toward Vyon.
Yuui responded instantly. "I activate my face-down Trap—Draining Shield! When an opponent's monster declares an attack: I target that attacking monster, negate the attack, and gain Life Points equal to its Attack!
"I target your Myutant Mist, negate its attack, and recover Life Points equal to its Attack!"
A circular barrier formed before Yuui's field. Magical Scientist immediately drew another card.
"Then this old man chains to Draining Shield's effect and activates Myutant Mist's effect! When your opponent activates a Trap, I banish 1 card from my hand or field to draw 2 cards.
"I banish Necroface from my hand and draw 2 cards!"
Beams of varied elemental light crashed against the spherical barrier.

Magical Scientist continued, "At this moment, Necroface's effect activates once more. When this card is banished: both players banish the top 5 cards of their Decks."
He banished five more cards from the top of his Deck, and Yuui was forced to do the same.
"Then battle continues! This old man attacks Vyon with Myutant Synthesis—Convergent Malice!!"
Dozens of shadowy tendrils gathered, scarlet light burning from the eyes at their tips. They converged in a single blast.
Vyon exploded instantly.

Yuui slid back a full meter before finally stopping, the shockwave from the explosion making his whole body ache.
However, he still hurriedly waved his hand. "I activate the Set card, the Trap Card Hero Signal. It can be activated when a monster on my field is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. I Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Elemental HERO monster from my hand or Deck.
"I Special Summon Elemental HERO Prisma from my Deck!"

"Then I Set two cards and end my turn!"
"My turn, draw!"
"How long do you intend to make me wait!?" Magical Scientist suddenly demanded. Yuui froze for a moment, then glanced at the card he had drawn and smiled. "Relax. It'll be this turn."
He then swept his hand forward. "I activate Elemental HERO Prisma's effect. Once per turn, I reveal 1 Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck to my opponent and send 1 of that monster's listed Fusion Materials from my Deck to the Graveyard. Until the End Phase, this card is treated as the monster sent to the Graveyard for this effect.
"I reveal Elemental HERO Flare Neos, then send one of that Fusion Monster's materials, Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab, from my Deck to the Graveyard. Until the End Phase, Prisma is treated as Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab."
As the card hit the Graveyard, the phantom of Flare Scarab appeared within Prisma's body.
"Next, I Normal Summon Neo Space Connector!"

"I activate Neo Space Connector's effect. When this card is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon 1 Neo-Spacian monster or 1 Elemental HERO Neos from my hand or Deck in Defense Position.
"I choose to Special Summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole from my Deck."

"Then I Tribute Neo Space Connector to activate its other effect. By Tributing this card, I target 1 Neo-Spacian monster or Elemental HERO Neos in my Graveyard and Special Summon it in Defense Position.
"I choose to Special Summon Neos in Defense Position!"

Seeing the three monsters on Yuui's field, Magical Scientist softly murmured, "So it is as I thought. Then let me witness the power of your further evolution."
"You'll see it!" Yuui raised his right hand. The magical power of Great Magician Peak radiated outward from him, and at the same time the phantoms of Neos, Grand Mole, and Flare Scarab erupted with their own power.
Watching this, Alice outside the field showed surprise, while Alicia, who already knew what Yuui intended, clasped her hands and cheered him on.
High above, Aleister looked unimpressed, while Magical Scientist below stared straight ahead without blinking.
The next moment, Yuui swept his hand forward and shouted, "I return Elemental HERO Neos, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, and this monster treated as Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab from the field to the Deck to perform a Triple Contact Fusion!!"
A seven-colored nebula vortex formed high in the sky, and the three heroes flew into it one after another.
Yuui felt his magic being continuously drained by the vortex. When he was nearly exhausted, a card radiating intense, lava-like heat suddenly burst from his Extra Deck.
Yet, its face was still blank; clearly, it had not yet fully formed, and Yuui no longer had the magic to complete its birth.
Realizing this, he made a swift decision.
"Alicia, take over!!"
Hearing this, Alicia froze for a heartbeat before at once returning to her own body, continuing the flow of magic without a second thought.
Yuui's already ethereal form now drifted beside her like mist, watching quietly.
Outside the field, Alice sensed the change in Alicia's aura and understood that Alicia's soul had returned to her body. Her expression grew complicated as she watched.
Magical Scientist nodded slightly for some unknown reason, while Aleister in the sky revealed a faint smile.
As Alicia's magic poured into the fusion vortex, something within it seemed to undergo a qualitative change.
A brilliant light erupted, scorching heat spreading in all directions, and a fierce pressure was born from within the vortex.
Seeing this, Yuui suddenly remembered something, then gave a helpless smile and whispered a few words into Alicia's ear.
Alicia blinked, then her eyes sharpened with determination. She drew out the burning-hot card from the Extra Deck and called out:
"Hero from Neo Space, let courage and friendship become blazing armor and grant you the power to shatter all!
"Descend now—Level 9, Elemental HERO Magma Neos!!"
