As the impact of their combined attacks crashed into Imu's current spider form, his body was torn open across several points. Even Garp, who was standing beside Roger, recognized the damage that had been done. Feeling proud of himself, he immediately proclaimed toward Roger as if boasting about something undeniable.
"My attack sealed the deal. It is my win, Roger," Garp boasted, puffing out his chest.
Roger did not appreciate Garp trying to take credit for something he clearly did not cause, and this disagreement instantly ignited another pointless argument between the two, one that almost overshadowed the seriousness of the battle unfolding around them.
Linlin and Kaido were also occupied with their own fight. Linlin was still unbelievably furious at Kaido for eating a Devil Fruit that she had been planning to give Katakuri.
Katakuri, who had been applying the values Thor taught him, had blossomed into an even more impressive young warrior, almost comparable to a giant in discipline and presence.
"Spit it out," Linlin snapped toward Kaido, her eyes blazing.
Kaido grinned like a maniac. After reverting from his massive dragon form back into his human form, he casually wiped away dust from his kanabo.
"It is too late. You have a brain, do you not? You know how Devil Fruits work," Kaido answered condescendingly, which only fueled Linlin's rising anger.
While the other battles continued, Thor's attention remained fixed on Imu's unmoving form. The fact that Imu was still not recovering made Thor increasingly uneasy, as if something worse was about to happen.
"Rocks, maybe you should leave here first. You should make sure that your goal is secured before chasing revenge like this," Thor said quietly, turning toward Rocks. Newgate heard him as well.
Before either could respond, the spider body suddenly twitched and began to heal on its own.
The wounds closed one by one, and the regeneration was so unnatural that the fights between Roger and Garp, and Linlin and Kaido, immediately halted. Everyone stared at Imu, shocked that he could tank the strongest hits from all of them and stand seemingly unfazed.
"Prince of Elbaph, your strength is recognized. With your debt of killing two members of the Knights of Gods, it is fitting that you join us to replace them. Being recognized by thee is the greatest honor you will ever receive," Imu suddenly spoke. His voice carried no emotion and jumped directly into the matter as if there was no need for introductions or context.
"Mu's world requires soldiers. You would be given the status of general if you joined my side. Your tribe would gain unparalleled strength, and you would be granted immortality in exchange for your service.
If you know what is good for you and your tribe, you should accept my offer," Imu added as a grimoire appeared beside him.
Rocks stepped forward without hesitation.
"Sewer rat king, you who hide behind those walls of your castle. No one is destined to rule forever. Enjoy your throne while you still can, because after this, you will not have anything," Rocks replied, directly insulting Imu.
Imu, who had grown accustomed to obedience and reverence from everyone around him, could not tolerate such disrespect.
His Conqueror's Haki exploded outward, covering the entire island of God Valley and knocking countless people unconscious.
He then summoned a giant double barrel pistol. Without warning, he fired at Rocks and the others, forcing them to scatter. The shot missed, but its force was enough to tear apart a large section of the battlefield.
Thor and the others retaliated with their own attacks. This time, Thor awakened Mjolnir once again, coating it with layers of haki.
He stretched his back, then hurled his entire body forward before throwing the hammer with the full force of his momentum.
The impact hit Imu, sending him flying high into the air. Thor then controlled the hammer, pulling it back with a much faster spin.
When the hammer returned, Thor used the accumulated force to deliver an even greater strike. The timing aligned with attacks from Rocks, Roger, Garp, Newgate, Linlin, and Kaido.
Imu watched them prepare their blows, still believing that his Devil Fruit powers and immortality made him untouchable.
The combined strike shook the foundations of God Valley. The ground split apart under the overwhelming pressure, and shockwaves ripped through the entire island.
When the smoke finally cleared, Imu's body was covered in holes, slashes, and deep wounds. He began healing again, but this time, something was different. His expression changed for a brief moment when he stared at the weapon in Thor's hand.
"You!" Imu hissed, recognizing the Stormbreaker. The wound left by Thor's attack was healing, but much slower than his usual regenerative speed.
Thor looked at his weapon as he realized something was different about the damage he had dealt.
"What the?" Thor thought.
Imu finished regenerating as his form shifted. A large black trident materialized in his hand, its prongs shaped like arrowheads.
His tail and wings also emerged, giving him an even more devil-like appearance. Thor tightened his grip, fully aware that Imu was now taking the fight seriously.
The floating double barrel pistol fired again, hitting Linlin and Kaido. The explosion sent them crashing back toward the Valley, weakening the ground further and causing another loss of structural support.
Imu spun his trident, blocking the swords of Rocks and Roger. His tail attempted to impale Rocks, but Thor cut it away after transforming Mjolnir into its Stormbreaker form.
It became clear that Stormbreaker could not awaken in the same manner as Mjolnir. Newgate and Garp launched their attacks simultaneously toward Imu's head.
"This is not working. This monster keeps healing and healing," Garp complained as he leapt backward to avoid a stabbing leg from the spider form.
"Accept your place. Mu's world will be completed. I am giving you a chance to join my ranks voluntarily," Imu said again toward Thor, shockingly persistent and strangely out of character.
"You had your chance before, but you did not allow us. Now, I will make sure that Elbaph will never be a member of the World Government," Thor replied as he launched another attack, immediately followed by Rocks.
Suddenly, tentacles sprouted from the sides of Imu's head and shot toward both Thor and Rocks. The moment they pierced them, Thor felt something draining his strength.
"Hmmm, then you leave me with no choice. Witness your greatest blunder in your young living days," Imu said coldly as the grimoire beside him opened.
"A Kuwaru!" he chanted.
Thor and Rocks struggled to break free, but the tentacles held them firmly, tightening around them as Imu conjured another tentacle.
An abyss-like mark formed in the air. Imu placed the tentacle against the ground, and the bindings on Thor and Rocks dragged them downward toward the abyss. They were slowly swallowed until both disappeared within it.
"DOMI REVERSI," Imu intoned as he flipped the tentacle that created the abyss. Thor and Rocks pushed back with immense Conqueror's Haki, slowing the reversal, but Imu exerted even more power. The abyss finally reversed completely.
