As Maffey hit Thor's chest with everything she had, a loud and jarring metallic sound was then heard across the battlefield between them. It was the sound of steel meeting an immovable object.
Maffey's expression suddenly changed from one of extreme arrogance and confidence into one that is displaying pure despair, as she realized her attack had done absolutely nothing.
She then looked up, trembling, only to see the grinning face of Thor looking down at her, with a devilish smile on Thor's face that was showcasing his sharp teeth.
Thor then slammed his massive weapon towards Maffey with incredible speed, as the force of the impact then split Maffey in half in a gruesome display of power, while Thor's grin is still visible in his face, completely unbothered by the violence.
"I should finish here so that I could kill the newly arrived as well, all of you have foul presence, it's so foul that I could vomit if I don't stop myself," Thor then said towards the remaining Holy Knights, his voice dripping with disdain.
He then kicked the dead body of Maffey towards the remaining holy knights like it was trash, showing them exactly what he thought of their status.
"Damn you, if the great one doesn't have plans for you and your country would razed to the ground," Garling then said with burning fury as he looked at Thor's grinning figure, his hands shaking with the urge to strike.
"Should I be scared? Despite claiming to be gods, you hadn't even manage to put any wounds on me, I am fighting with a disadvantage in numbers and yet, your ranks are the ones that are dwindling. Maybe it's because I'm not a helpless slave that you haven't manage to kill me yet, since the only threats that you could seemingly harm are the ones that cannot fight back," Thor then insulted back towards Garling.
The insult struck deep, especially as Garling's head is still covered in blood due to the pressure of Thor's immense haki crushing down on him earlier.
Meanwhile Gunko, who is looking at Thor from the side, started to get affected by the release of Thor's Haki. It felt as if there are bits of memories that are coming back to her, fragmented images of a past she could not quite recall, which is something that Gunko does not understand and found deeply confusing.
Gunko then shook her head violently to clear the thoughts, as she tried to focus on the fact that she is now a devoted blade of god. She looked down at her arm, as her mark is on her arm that was covered with the powers of her Arrow Arrow Devil Fruit, reminding her of her duty.
"Who's this great one that you kept on referring to? Is this the source of your immortallity? Which made you all bow down to this great one? So by that logic, if I kill this great one, you all would cease to exist as well," Thor then suddenly said towards the Holy Knights, presenting a logic that terrified them, which made them froze in their tracks.
Despite Thor already knowing exactly who is the great one that they kept on referring to, as he knew this information from the manga in his previous life, he still wanted to provoke the God's Knights to attack him.
He felt that Imu had arrived in the island earlier, and he needed to draw attention to himself, which would prevent the solidification of the doom of Rocks, a fate which he desperately wanted to avoid in this timeline.
"You are overestimating yourself Prince of Elbaph, you are no match for the great one, and you would suffer the consequences on defying the great one's orders," Garling then said calmly, regaining his composure.
Garling and the others then all stood up as they got ready to blitz towards Thor with a coordinated strike.
But before it happened, Thor had felt a sudden and sharp attack coming from behind him. It was a sneak attack which Thor dodged instinctively and countered attacked with a swing of his own hammer.
When he turned around against the one that attempted to attack him, he then saw a large spider like creature standing there, with one of its sharp legs being the one that tried to attack towards Thor.
"Hmmm, the great one I presume?" Thor then asked, speaking as if the situation isn't obvious, as the figure that he is seeing is the monstrous figure of an Imu infested Saint Saturn.
Saint Saturn's eyes are similar to what Imu had, with that strange ringed pattern, indicating that he is indeed possessed by the sovereign of the world.
"Prince of Elbaph, Son of Harold, you have proven yourself to be worthy on joining Mu's ranks, you would have power that knows no bounds," Imu immediately said, speaking through Saturn with a voice that sounded like it came from the depths of the void.
"You would go back to Elbaph this instant and take your father's throne, then prepare for the World Governments subjugation," Imu then continued, issuing commands as if not even considering the possibility that Thor would refuse his offer, an arrogance which greatly shocked Thor.
"Excuse me 'O great one' maybe your so used to being catered by those cockroaches that call themselves gods to do every single one of your bidding, but I am not one of your slaves, you do not have any hold over me," Thor then replied defiantly. As he spoke, he then released a massive burst of Conqueror's Haki.
The intensity of his Conqueror's became even more stronger than before due to Thor passing through a certain limitations that he had held onto, causing the very air to vibrate.
" That's where you, Prince of Elbaph, are wrong, every single being in this world starting from most tiny living creature, upto your entire very being, every Islands, every countries, every kingdom that exist in this world, all are under Mu's authority, they are permitted to live due to Mu's mercy, every single breath you take is a debt you owe to Mu. So if Mu ordered you to kill your own father, there's nothing else that you should answer other than 'It will be done', understood?" Imu then yelled towards Thor, his voice booming with absolute authority, directed at Thor who's entire being is looking up to the huge figure of Imu.
Thor just calmly listened to the sudden burst of anger that Imu had unexpectedly released. It was quite uncharacteristic for Imu to have this moments of lost composure, except when Joyboy is involved.
Meanwhile, the Holy Knights on the side of Imu have surprised expressions on their faces, as they all did not expect this scene to appear before them.
'The great one is deeply angered,' The Holy knights all collectively thought in fear.
"While that's an interesting idea, one that would make me a king, I would humbly refuse o great one, I'm perfectly happy being an enemy of the World Government than being one of it's lapdog," Thor then said, rejecting the offer completely.
As he spoke, he then slowly started growing and growing in size, expanding rapidly as he then decided to release his true form for the first time in the God Valley Incident.
"Also. forgive me, I don't intend to look up onto someone that I do not respect," Thor then said, his voice becoming deeper and louder as he grew.
His figure now is a towering giant, standing nearly 200 meters tall, with his hammer on his side, with it appearing even larger than his current form.
Thor then coated his weapon with a thick layer of conqueror's haki, black lightning crackling around it.
He then swung his weapon with all of his might, a strike that carried the weight of a mountain, in which produced an extremely loud explosion that also created a massive rupture in the entire God Valley Island structure.
