Soon, the children were sent into a huge space with stacked chairs and tables rotated on the main stage, similar to a college classroom.
"Everyone, find yourselves some seats. We will start this lesson in a moment." Upon hearing this familiar voice, the children went out of control and sat down with their respective parties, excited and observant.
"Whoa! It's Motoyasu-sama!"
"A Jōnin as an instructor?! Hell yeah!"
"Calm down already!"
On the stage, Motoyasu was glad and looked at the children with similar enthusiasm. These youngsters could be the future pillars of his wretched village, a tomorrow's investment towards manpower and stability of Amegakure.
"Haaahh... A little bit of light at the end of the tunnel, I guess." Seated in the last row, Yoichi sighed.
Free is the most expensive thing in the world. But desperation propels any child into the beacon of hope no matter what the cost or sacrifice.
Instead of preventing them from shining light, it was better to let them face its consequences.
Experience was a brutal teacher.
"Now, let's begin! What do you think about Chakra? Raise your hand if you want to speak!" Motoyasu felt the radiant blaze in these children.
"A wonderful ability to release jutsu!"
"Good, what else?"
"An energy that could assist someone with anything else!"

As the back and forth of words commenced, Motoyasu suddenly began to delve deeply into the components and it's various usage.
"Now, all of your answers were fairly right. Chakra is a mix of physical and mental energy combined within our bodies. Its usage always relies on the jutsu, the ratio, and its properties!"
"By refining and exerting the mental energy of the Chakra, we could realize its properties like an imaginary object. The ability to form anything. For example, the Clone Technique which copies the user's figure yet has no real substance."
"On the other hand, refining the physical properties of the Chakra, the user could grant it the ability of a physical object. The power to manifest energy into reality. A very best example of this was Wood Release by Hashirama Senju!"
As he began teaching, the children were so perplexed that they scratched their heads, slowly realizing their teacher's words at a turtle pace.
"Of course, some of these jutsu have unique ratios, depending on the properties of the said jutsu."
While Motoyasu continued, Yoichi gradually understood the general gist and essence of Chakra. The 1:1 ratio was generally true but to increase the power output, the balance between the two should be equal or more than enough to sustain the form of jutsu.
Otherwise, some jutsu would be compromised and unable to exert their fullest potential to a certain extent. For most jutsu, balance wasn't a requirement as long as the energy output was more than necessary.
And that's why Kekkai Genkai were absurd and beyond normal means.
"Now we will begin on how to refine the Chakra. Refined Chakra could be maintained and created with the use of mental energy."
"However, the Refined Chakra couldn't be maintained for a long time and will dissipate when the available mental energy becomes insufficient."
"Still, refining the Chakra is a valuable thing since it makes the process easier and smoother than not practicing the refinement. Now, the refined chakra was employed for all of the jutsu! Let's begin!"
As his words registered in their ears, the children were soon one by one taught how to refine the chakra similar to how Martial Arts cultivate their rigorous physique.
"This thing is too hard!" Haruhiko complained.
"Hmm? It is quite easy for us..." Hikari replied which made Haruhiko's face darken. All three of Yoichi's friends were quite adept at refining since they were taught by Yoichi himself.
But as a child, the amount of Chakra they had was negligible. With the fragile bodies and lack of knowledge, the result was obvious.
Yoichi began refining Chakra and realized one thing. Due to his robust vitality and experience of two lives, the process of refining became smoother than an average child.
"Hmmm... This is fascinating! Even though the Chakra and Qi Blood don't override each other, it is a good asset to have in the Shinobi World!" Yoichi mumbled.
Coupled with physical Qi Blood and mental energies from the two lives and Sharingan, Yoichi felt like he could release and comprehend a basic jutsu in just a whim.
"Next day, we will be discussing the basic jutsu and how to utilize them. Now go back and eat!" Upon hearing Motoyasu's words, the rest felt reluctant yet the joy was in their eyes, shining like a diamond.
Since there were 100 children in the room, Motoyasu's attention was constantly split as the 6 hours easily passed by, marking the end of the day.
Afterwards, the children left with some significant gains and went into the dining room for dinner. In contrast, Motoyasu sat down at his desk and was exhausted from all of the children's unstoppable curiosity.
"What are the results, Sir Motoyasu?" Hideaki went inside with a smile, looking at his superior.
"Teaching felt good! However, it's too tiresome. I'll leave the rest of the lesson to you and the other Chūnin around. Some of them were ignorant and talented, so keep paying attention to them for a while..."
After stating the developments, Motoyasu took a deep breath and closed his eyes, too tired to even make a move.
"Should we draw out their blood for samples? Perhaps there were some geniuses here with Kekkai Genkai!" Hideaki's eyes shone with thrill.
"Not now... We must fatten them up first before drawing their blood. Look at you, you are killing the hens before they can lay eggs!" Motoyasu's cryptic words were easily understood by Hideaki, who was dejected and left earlier than his leader.
With the mission imposed on them by Hanzō, they were serious about it since these things would be crucial to the future of their village.
"I hope Hanzō-sama could nurture them and not put these children in harm. That Shigeno brat became too lax since he was assigned as a research director."
After resting, Motoyasu huffed with a hint of anger until he left the room, erasing his thoughts about Shigeno and looking for something to eat.
