"Can you tell me what's the reason for your brash behavior?" Kouji remarked with a smile on his face.
He understood that his subordinates wouldn't be impulsive without a reason.
"Kouji-sama, Motoyasu-sama. Hideaki prevented us from killing that traitor!" The leading Chūnin subordinates pointed out Hideaki's huge mistake.
Hearing this, Kouji and Motoyasu glared at Hideaki. This was a monumental fuck-up for the 2nd time.
"Is there anything in your defense?" Motoyasu narrowed his eyes and looked at Hideaki. Although the Chūnin was his subordinate, Motoyasu couldn't be biased in terms of the failed assassination attempt.
"Sir, the traitor is heading towards the Senju Clan which is notorious for their intense security unlike the Uchiha Clan. This mission might fail and compromise our location if that happens." Hideaki bowed slightly and knelt to the two imposing Jōnin.
With the defense being proven as well thought-out, Kouji merely shook his head while Motoyasu continued, "We must finish this assassination task as soon as possible! Kouji and I will be leading this mission from now on."
In such a domineering fashion, Motoyasu's words became a shining beacon that made the Chūnin's eyes light up. Therefore, in a wave of his hand, the Chūnin were dismissed.
Let's see how you can run away...
As for Motoyasu's thought about Yoichi, it was a foregone conclusion.
