Lucian's POV-
"Lucian, It wasn't me, my father had the responsibility, because he was the person your father mentioned in that letter. And because, he is dead now, I am the one responsible."
"Although my father had grudges and wanted revenge, he didn't wanted to serve your family and become their slave. But! I am not like that, believe me, I helped you with everything. If I wanted to kill you, harm you then I could have done that in Greece itself!"
My heart refused to believe but my brain said to believe it.
After getting betrayal, shock and trauma in every step. You are no more the same person.
And now, another secret is goin to be revealed, I have to take steps, slowly and smartly.
"Fine, if for a moment, I decide to believe in you, then tell me who is the real traitor? Who is the one harming me?" I demanded as I swallowed anger.
" Lucian, my father knew that I was not someone who can just kill, harm or betray. My mom never taught me that so, he decided to ask someone else for the help."
He stopped speaking, the silence was too hard too be heard.
"Lucian, my father never told me about this, he used to have grudges for the Gail family because, once he fell in their trap and had to pay a heavy amount. He was not guilty but the youngest daughter of Crowe family helped the Gail's. He framed papa."
Nikos looked directly into my eyes.
"Papa was left with nothing but your father came as an angel and blessing to our family, he helped us and then he helped pa to get revenge on the Gail's. But he had a condition, "PROTECTION".
Papa had no choice but to agree. And soon he realised that your father had fooled us because he just wanted to use us, for his own good.
Pa decided to drop this condition but he was afraid that Lysander might harm us. Papa wanted revenge, he never bothered to tell me about this, but my mom used to tell me everything, she said that even if pa does something wrong or hands this "agreement" to any other family, I should fulfill my duties, I should never betray Valle's because they had helped us.
And pa did it, he transferred all his property to one of his close friend and a strong enemy and critic of the Valle's"
He stopped speaking...
He was afraid. Afraid to say the name!
"Speak! Tell me who were they! Answer!" I shouted as my voice echoed in the dockyard.
Stephen, Stella and Aunt Era all were afraid and trembling.
They knew, something dangerous is going to come up.
"NIKOS SPEAK!" I heard Stella shout. She was loosing her temper.
"Mama gave me all the property under her name and from my mother's side, I got a company and wealth but I never imagined, that the family whom my father transferred his assets and money including the agreement was the family Lucian knew.
Someone too close to Lucian, someone whom he would never imagined..."
He went silent again...
But this time, I did not pressured him to speak up.
He looked at me.
As if unsure to say the name or not...
"The family is the one where the Crowe families eldest daughter is married. THE SINCLAIR FAMILY, they have the agreement as my mother informed me. I also investigated it, and came to know that it's true!"
WHAT!!!!!!

"Lucian wake up !!!!"
"Hey! Are you alright?"
"Doctor, is he okay?"
I heard faint voices...
They echoed in my mind.
I tried to open my eyes and they felt too heavy.
Slowly, the background was visible...
"W-W-Where am-am I?" I asked, I felt too weak to stand up.
"Hey! Thank god you are okay." Nikos voice came through the corner.
I opened my eyes , the beeping of machines, the smell of sanitizer.
It's too familiar...
Wait! Am I at the hospital!!!!
"Lucian, the doctor said you can be discharged now! Let's go." Stella pulled me.
But, my body felt too heavy to walk.
"Hey! Are you crazy?", The doctor shouted at Stella.
"What?", Stella protested.
"EVEN IF HE IS DISCHARGED YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFULL!", he shouted.
"FINE!", Stella shouted back.
The nurse brought the wheelchair.
"Sir, please sit on it and be careful with your anger because you fainted due to high blood pressure, anxiety and fear.", the nurse spoke in a serious and low tone.
"Thanku, I'll be careful.", I forced a smile.
But...
I felt, my chest becoming heavy...
As I remembered what Nikos told me...Is it true? Sinclair's? How?
I couldn't help but question, when it seems that the puzzle solves, another secret opens, these connections and these situations are making me question my existence in Valle clan.
Was this planned? Are they after me? Everyone knows that my father has left us, then why are they still targeting me?
As the nurse pushed the wheel chair. Slowly the exit came into sight...
Nikos, Stella and Stephen where standing there.
"Hey! Are you fine?" Stephen asked me with concern.
"Yeah, better.", I replied.
"Then, bro. Your finals are beginning from tomorrow. You remember right?", Nikos asked me but it seemed more like he was mocking me at my condition.
But true...
I actually forgot about the tests coming up!
I have missed school for more than a month!!!
I need to go to school! In all this chaos, I actually forgot that I am still in 11th.
"Are you serious?", Stella raised an eyebrow.
"YES!!!"
"Fine, I'll drive you to the school.", Nikos pulled the wheel chair towards the car.
After few minutes of drive, we reached the entrance of the school.
"Bro, I'll stay with you! Just to make sure no one troubles you.", He said and a creepy smile formed on his face.
"S..."
"Let's goooo", he cut me off in between.
As we entered the class... everyone's gaze shifted on me...
"Hey! Are you okay?", Adrian approached me.
"Yeah! Don't worry.", I smiled .
It was nice to meet them again although they were all worried but seeing there faces after soo long was a very rare feeling.
Maybe...this is called true friendship.
"Brother, that day....", Sophie came forward.
"Don't worry, I was just a bit harsh, I will call best doctor for aunt's treatment.", I assured her...
"No, I am not saying that, actually...You do remember right? That day?", she pointed to the corner.
A broken bench was at the corner...
Suddenly, everything came back.
"You shouted at Aria.", Clara explained as if trying to make me feel guilty.
"Yeah, I remember", I said , although I don't care.
She brought it on herself .
"She left the school that day. She attended the school next day but today she did not come.", Damon spoke from his seat.
"I don't care...", I replied to him in a sharp voice.
"Are you sure?", Nikos voice cut through the air.

She is no one but my enemy's relative, why should I care?
"Yes!!!", I replied.
"Then why are you getting angry?"... Leo bent down.
"Or trying to listen hard to your brain but avoiding your heart?", the corner of his lips slowly formed into a smirk...
"Willing to die?", I whispered back.
He immediately stood up.
"Fine, fine. Do whatever you like!"
I don't care and I will never let a girl rule my heart. Specially, if she is one of my classmate...she's still my enemy!
